The Cast of Lost: Where Are Our Favourite 15 Up To Now?

Can you believe that it’s been 13 years since the TV show Lost premiered? Those were the days; it was such a great show and one that we could have continued watching for years. There was just so much mystery and a whole lot of intrigue when it came to the idea of being stranded on an island. It’s not like the movie Cast Away where you’re all alone with no one to talk to — this show had love affairs and the characters even found a way to survive on the island and have a decent life. Though there was plenty of danger around every corner, it seemed.

The show made TV history when it premiered as one of the best TV dramas of all time and that’s no easy feat. It was an amazing show and since then, there has not been a series that has quite captivated audiences like Lost did. It’s one of those shows that always had us guessing at every turn. Just when we thought we had it all figured out, we realized we were wrong.

It had an amazing pilot, which was probably what made it such a hit from the start. People were just dying to know what was going to happen next. Even the finale had people guessing even though many disagreed with how the show ended. Have you ever wondered what happened to the amazing cast of Lost? No need to wonder any longer — we've got you covered.

15 Matthew Fox

Matthew Fox played the insanely handsome and damaged Jack Shepard in Lost and he was such a great actor, we thought for sure that his career would take off into the wind. Fox, however, hasn’t done a whole lot since the show ended and he hasn’t been seen in a movie since 2015. We saw him as a soldier in World War Z with Brad Pitt and he also played a very convincing serial killer in the movie Alex Cross. Aside from that, he’s been in Emperor, Extinction and his last film in 2015 was Bone Tomahawk. Whether he gave up on Hollywood, we’re not sure, but why has such a talent suddenly disappeared. He had two hit TV shows — Lost and Party of Five — so a lot of people speculate that he belongs on TV instead of the movies. We hope to see this actor come back to the silver screen soon.

14 Josh Holloway

Oh gosh! Remember Sawyer? He was the swarthy and gorgeous con man of the show that we couldn’t help but love. He was the bad guy that just wanted to be good for the sake of Kate. So, what has this bad boy been up to since the show? Holloway hasn’t done much in the way of movies since the show ended, though he did have a role in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. He seems to have more success on TV. Since the show, he appeared in Intelligence which started off strong, but was eventually canceled. Currently, you can find the handsome actor on the show Colony where he is once again playing a leading role and that’s exactly where we expect him to be. We look forward to seeing more of him in the future.

13 Terry O’Quinn

Terry O’Quinn terrified us in the 1987 movie Stepfather. He went on to appear in Stepfather 2, which was no less frightening. He has had a pretty amazing career in Hollywood long before Lost ever came around, so it was not surprising that he’s been in all kinds of projects since the show ended. It seems like he's been in a ton of TV series, bouncing from one character to the next. You probably recognize him from TV shows such as 666 Park Avenue, Falling Skies, Gang Related, Hawaii 5-0, The Blacklist, Patriot, Secrets and Lies, and in 2017 he was in The Blacklist: Redemption. He’s got a new series that is coming out in 2018 called Castle Rock; it’s currently being filmed. The guy has certainly been busy.

12 Dominic Monaghan

Dominic Monaghan hasn’t changed much, appearance-wise. He still has that silly smile of his that we loved so much. Funny enough, he dated his co-star Evangeline Lilly for three years on the show, but they broke up because she apparently cheated on him. He didn’t get along with a few of the costars, oddly enough, and was in the tabloids once for stating that Matthew Fox “beats women.” Monaghan is no stranger to fame after being in The Lord of the Rings movies. Since the show ended, he's also been quite busy, appearing in an Eminem video featuring Rihanna: Love the Way You Lie. He’s appeared on TV shows such as Flashforward, Goodnight Burbank, The Unknown, 100 Code, and Quantum Break. He’s also appearing in a few movies in 2018. He’s certainly done well for himself.

11 Evangeline Lilly

Is it possible that Evangeline Lilly has become even more beautiful over the past 13 years? She certainly hasn’t lost any of those insane muscles that she had on the show. After the show ended, she actually took some time off from acting because she was exhausted by all the fame Lost brought to her life. She was never a big fan of being in the limelight. While she was on a hiatus, she actually wrote a children’s books called The Squickerwonkers and The Squickerwonkers - Vol 2: the Demise of Selma the Spoiled. She did return to Hollywood in 2013 to take on roles in some pretty awesome movies like The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. She has brought back the badass side of herself that we saw in her character Kate in superhero movies like Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp. It looks like she will be joining the Avengers as well in 2019.

10 Jorge Garcia

Jorge Garcia played Hurley, the overweight fun-loving guy that won the lottery but was also cursed by a series of numbers. Hurley was one of the main characters that stayed throughout the whole series. Since the show ended, he has bounced around doing guest appearances on a lot of shows such as Alcatraz, Mr. Sunshine, Californication, Once Upon a Time, How I Met Your Mother, Maggie, and also had a regular appearance alongside his Lost co-star Terry O’Quinn in Hawaii 5-0. You may also recognize him from a couple of movies like The Ridiculous 6 and The Healer. He has a few more projects in the works for 2018. Though he's been in a lot of shows, nothing was like the fame he saw with Lost. We hope to see more of this guy because he’s quite the actor.

9 Yunjin Kim

Yunjin Kim played Sun-Hwa Kwon on the show and at first, she seemed like a weak character, but she grew a lot on the show and ended up becoming one of the main characters who helped a lot of people. She proved that she could hold her own on a hit TV show. She’s a gorgeous woman with a lot of talent. Since the show ended, however, we haven’t seen much of the beauty. For three years, from 2013 to 2016, she was on the popular show Mistresses which certainly showed a whole new side of the actress. That ended in 2016 and she appeared in a Korean thriller called House of the Disappeared. We hope to see this woman back on another hit TV series because she’s a hell of a talented actress.

8 Naveen Andrews

Naveen Andrews played Sayid the torturer on Lost; he was a damaged man that was trying to redeem himself throughout the show for past crimes. He was a character that we all grew to love because we all knew he had a good heart and genuinely tried to help people. He fell in love multiple times on the show and he’s truly a great talent. Since the show ended, Andrews has been on a lot of TV shows. You might recognize him in shows such as Sinbad and the spinoff series to Once Upon a Time, where he played Jafar in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, which is a pretty fun and iconic role. These days, he’s on the series Sense8, which he’s been on for the past three years. He plays the character Jonas Maliki.

7 Daniel Dae Kim

Daniel Dae Kim played Jin-Soo Kwon, who was also Sun-Hwa's husband in the show. He also made some huge changes as a character throughout the series, including learning English while stuck on an island. When the show ended, he had a rough few years when he only appeared in video game projects or voice work. In 2013, however, he landed a 2-year project on the TV series The Legend of Korra. When that show ended, he had a few more roles here and there for a few years. Thankfully, he ended getting a 7-year stint on Hawaii 5-0. It’s funny how a lot of the Lost cast members ended up on that show. He will also be appearing in the new Hellboy movie which is currently being filmed. It looks like things are going well for the actor.

6 Elizabeth Mitchell

Elizabeth Mitchell played the part of Juliet Burke on the show and it was always hard to tell whether she was one of the good guys or one of the bad guys. She stole the heart of Jack Shepard in the end, which wasn’t always well received by fans. After the show ended, she jumped right back into another series called V. She also had a guest appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She got another series for two years called Revolution. At the same time, she also appeared on Once Upon a Time, like a few of her other co-stars from Lost. She was also in the movie The Purge: Election Year as Senator Charlie Roan. She then went on to star in two more series called Crossing Lines and Dead of Summer. We’re not sure what’s next in store for the actress, but she sure seems to be one busy girl.

5 Emilie De Ravin

Emilie de Ravin played the Australian girl Claire who also happened to be Jack Shepard’s sister in the end. Talk about a plot twist! She was also the most unfortunate character who not only was pregnant on the island but who had to also raise a newborn there as well. Not exactly convenient. Emilie de Ravin is another actress that ended up on Once Upon a Time; there's just something about that show. She actually played the Disney character, Belle. She was also the lucky girl who got to make out with Robert Pattinson in the movie Remember Me. She has a few more movie credits to her name, but for the most part, Once Upon a Time is where she spent the last five years. It’s a popular TV series that brings to life our favorite fairy tales.

4 Jeremy Davies

Jeremy Davies played Daniel Faraday, an extremely smart man who helped the people of the island stay alive and save the world. Davies is an exceptional actor and he proved that not only in Lost, but the TV series Justified as well, alongside Timothy Olyphant. He dabbled in a few TV series such as Constantine and Hannibal, but it wasn’t until Justified that he was in another major role. He played Dickie Bennett, a hick from Kentucky and it got him nominated for two Emmy’s. After Justified ended, he went on to play in many more series including Twin Peaks, Texas Rising, Sleepy Hollow, and currently, he is on the TV series American Gods. For those who haven’t watched Justified, you will love his character. We look forward to seeing what the new year brings for this exceptional actor.

3 Harold Perrineau

Harold Perrineau played Michael on Lost, the man who ended up backstabbing his friends because the only thing he cared about on the island was his son. He regretted the decision of putting his friends in danger, but by then, it was too late. Since Lost, Perrineau has been quite the busy bee; there are almost too many credits to list. He’s appeared in a few movies such as Zero Dark Thirty, but he's starred in more TV shows than films. You may recognize him from popular shows such as Sons of Anarchy, Blade, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Goliath, Criminal Minds, Constantine, and Claws. Currently, he has five projects in post-production for 2018. He’s had a steady career since leaving Lost and he’s certainly been a regular in the industry and doesn’t seem to be leaving anytime soon.

2 Ian Somerhalder

Ian Somerhalder was a pretty regular character on Lost as Boone, that is until they killed him off. During the show, it seemed as if all he did was chase around his spoiled sister and cleaned up her messes. He hasn’t done too shabby since the show either. You probably recognize him from another hit TV series called The Vampire Diaries. He was on the show for a whopping eight years before it recently ended. There was actually some overlap, for two years where he was on both Lost and The Vampire Diaries. So, he was quite the popular guy for many years. He just finished filming a movie called Time Frame which will be released in 2018. We are pumped to see what this gorgeous actor has in store for us in future years.

1 Maggie Grace

Maggie Grace was the spoiled sister Shannon on the show that Boone was always chasing around. She was a hard character to like because she was a spoiled brat who only thought of herself. She was also eventually killed on the show. Maggie Grace has done well for herself since the show, starring in hit movies such as Taken, Taken 2, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 & 2, Knight and Day and of course Taken 3. She has also appeared in a lot of TV series such as Californication and Susanna. She has certainly had a lot of opportunities since she left Lost and she’s still going strong. She also has two movies in post-production, so 2018 looks like a bright year for this actress. For the most part, it seems that all is well with the actors from Lost and they have moved on to better and brighter things.
