Jessa Duggar Vs. Jinger Duggar: 15 Photos

For a lot of fans, both Jessa Duggar and her sister Jinger Duggar are the “hot Duggars.” That’s because both girls love to flaunt their God-given genes (and jeans) in front of the cameras whenever they have an opportunity to do so. Plus, there’s no denying that both Jessa and Jinger are beautiful in their own right. The cameras love them just as much as they love the cameras. While we may not love their family members, most of us are interested in the two Duggar daughters.

Now that Jinger is expecting her first baby with her husband Jeremy Vuolo, we have a feeling that a lot of things are going to change in her life. First up, there’s a strong possibility that she is going to flaunt her baby bump on social media. As I’m sure a lot of people can remember, Jessa loved to show off her growing baby bump on Instagram on almost a weekly basis. Plus, Jinger is going to make is pretty clear that her life is all about her new family, her new rules and her new role as a mom. Jessa has been doing this same thing as both girls have slowly but surely been pulling away from their parents and their strict Duggar household rules. They love to share a lot of themselves on social media, and it seems like that trend will continue. There’s just so much that Jinger and Jessa have in common, when you think of it.

15 Duggar Family Rebels

via: intouchweekly.com

For the longest time both Jessa and Jinger have been called the Duggar family rebels. And if you’ve been following them on social media, you’ll know why. Ever since Jinger married her husband Jeremy Vuolo, she’s been living a separate life from the rest of the Duggar family. She’s also been breaking every single rule in Jim Bob and Michelle’s family rulebook.

Also, Jessa has been itching to follow in Jinger’s footsteps. A lot of people have commented about how Jessa loves to show off her rebellious side with her suggestive Instagram photos (that “pout” she likes to make whenever she’s taking a selfie) or do things her way. Jessa has even said on the record that she plans on raising her children differently than how her mother Michelle raised her family.

14 Mom Mode

If there’s one thing that Jessa and Jinger Duggar will definitely excel at, it’s being parents. After all, they have had plenty of experience with their own siblings. Their mother Michelle often expected them to take care of their younger siblings while they were growing up. That’s why they probably feel that raising their own kids should be a piece of cake.

So far Jessa has proven that she’s managing her new life as a wife and a mom pretty well. Sure, we might have problems cleaning her house from time to time but at the end of the day, she gets the job done. We have a feeling that Jinger is going to be the same way. And we also have a feeling that these two girls aren’t going to follow Michelle’s footsteps by having 19 kids of their own. The count will probably stop at three.

13 Social Media Obsession

via: instagram.com

One of the biggest Duggar family rules is that no one is allowed to have social media until they are married. That’s why Jessa Duggar wasted no time in creating her own Instagram account soon after she married Ben Seewald several years ago (we wouldn’t be surprised if she even did it on her wedding night!). Jinger followed suit as she too created her own Instagram account a little after she married Jeremy Vuolo as well.

Both girls have been very active on social media. In fact, some would even say that they are obsessed with Instagram. If Jessa goes a couple of days without posting anything on Instagram, her fans begin to worry. They love getting the likes, the attention and of course, all of the headlines they make whenever they post something controversial. It’s almost as if these Duggar girls live to post on social media.

12 Pulling Away From The Duggar Family Rules

A lot of fans who have been following the Duggars throughout the years will probably agree that once a Duggar gets married and starts her own family, she pulls away from the Duggar family rules. And who can blame them? When you are restricted from everything fun that the world has to offer (including television shows, movies, dancing, wearing shorts, and so on) you are bound to want to break free the moment you marry yourself out of the family. And that’s exactly what Jill and Jessa have done.

Plus, they have both hinted that they don’t want to end up being just like their mother, Michelle. In other words, they want some room to breathe! Also, rules are meant to be broken, aren’t they? It’s no wonder that Jinger is spending her lazy Saturday afternoons in shorts while watching Netflix!

11 They Were Both Eager To Get Busy

via: instagram.com

One of the reasons why the Duggar girls love to get married so early in their lives is because some believe that they just want to get busy, if you know what we man! Of course, we don’t know this for sure, but according to Michelle Duggar, there are a lot of expectations put on a Duggar wife when she gets married. She makes it clear that her daughters have a job to do and that they always need to be available to do it.

Michelle even put it this way: "Anyone can iron Jim Bob’s shirt, anybody can make lunch for him. He can get his lunch somewhere else. But you are the only one who can meet that special need that he has in his life for intimacy. You’re it. You’re the only one.’” Um, I don’t think we can argue with that!

10 Jinger Has A Bad Boy

Jinger not only fell in love with a handsome man, but she also fell in love with a bad boy! Jeremy Vuolo might be a man that is very dedicated to God and his faith right now, but he wasn’t always like this. As a matter of fact, Jeremy has a dark past. We are even surprised that he managed to make it pass Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar during the vetting stage before he began his courtship with Jinger!

According to reports, Jeremy was arrested for second degree harassment ten years ago. He pled guilty and was ordered to pay a $250 fine. Yikes – a Duggar husband with a past. How did Jim Bob not see this or better yet, how did he not stop Jinger from marrying him?

9 Ben Seewald Is No Better

via: she knows.com

Ben Seewald might not have a past, but a lot of people think he’s no better than Jeremy Vuolo. In fact, he’s probably not even in the same category as Jeremy. That’s because he doesn’t even have the same life experience, qualifications and maturity. Let’s not forget that Ben was barely an adult himself when he and Jessa Duggar tied the knot a few years ago.

Plus, Ben is just like the rest of the Duggar family when it comes to his unfiltered opinions. He’s stirred controversy in the past for ranting about Catholics in a lengthy but bizarre post. He also flipped out about a movie called The Shack, which a lot of people have never even heard of. What’s more, it doesn’t seem like Ben has much of a day job either. Is he just mooching off of the Duggars?

8 Did Their Husbands Marry Them For Fame?

Speaking of men with no jobs, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if some of these Duggars married the Duggar girls simply because they want to be on television. And while the Duggars haven’t been on the small screen much this past year, they are still considered as one of the most popular reality television families out there. So of course, this begs a lot of people to ask the same question: did the husbands marry the Duggars for fame?

I mean, if you are going to marry into the Duggar family, you have to expect that you are going to get a whole lot of attention… for basically doing nothing. You can’t marry a Duggar and expect to have a quiet life. These men must have known what they were getting into when they signed up for this.

7 Big Dreams

via: instagram.com

Jinger Duggar once stated that it was her dream to move to New York City. She always pictured herself in a big, busy city like the Big Apple. Unfortunately, Michelle never let her move there. She wanted Jinger to remain close to her family and of course, as far away as possible from a sinful city like New York City.

And while Jinger has yet to move north and find herself an affordable apartment somewhere in the boroughs, she has managed to put some miles between her and the rest of the Duggar family. She’s now living in a small town in Texas with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. Sure, the Lone State doesn’t compare to New York, but it’s a step in the right direction, according to Jinger.

6 More Traveling

Of course, New York City isn’t the only place that Jinger Duggar wants to visit in the future. Simply put, she wants to go everywhere. There’s also a good chance that she wants her husband Jeremy to take her everywhere, too.

And because they have such big plans for the future, Jinger might not have as many babies as one would think. As a matter of fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if Jinger decided to keep her family small just so she can travel with them everywhere she goes. In other words, Jinger wants to see the world, and not just sit at home and tend to her family. She’s got a passport and she wants to use it, gosh darn it! There’s more to life than what she’s already seen in Arkansas. Jinger knows this and that’s why she’s so hungry to learn and see more.

5 Pant Controversy

via: instagram.com

With that being said, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Jessa might be a tad jealous of the fact that Jinger has been freely wearing pants and jeans ever since she tied the knot with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. As a matter of fact, many fans have noticed that Jinger has been wearing jeans and shorts more than long skirts, which have long been a part of her Duggar family female uniform.

Apparently, Jinger’s husband Jeremy is a little more lax on the rules than Jessa’s husband Ben Seewald is. Of course, that’s not to say that Ben controls his wife’s wardrobe, but at the same time, it doesn’t look like Jessa is making any changes on her own, either. You can almost tell that Jessa would love to relax in a pair of comfortable jeans while catching up on the latest Netflix shows on a cold, winter afternoon, because that’s exactly what Jinger has been doing.

4 Does Jinger Have A Better Life?

It’s safe to say that Jeremy Vuolo is not the same kind of guy that the other Duggar sisters married. Unlike Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, Jeremy actually has a past. He used to drink and attend college parties until his heart led him to God. He changed his lifestyle in order to become closer to his faith.

But before that, Jeremy was just like any other typical twenty-something male out there. He played professional soccer, he skipped classes, he traveled, and he dated. And as a result, he has been doing a better job of showing Jinger what the world really looks like, from pop culture to his favorite movies and even his favorite cities all across the United States. In other words, Jinger gets to experience all of the things that the other Duggar sisters can only dream of.

3 Jessa Is Not Afraid To Admit She’s Not Perfect

via: TLC.com

According to the Duggars, they want the world to think that they’ve got everything under control. But as we all know, that’s not always the case. In fact, Jessa herself has made it pretty clear that she doesn’t always know what she’s doing. And she’s not interested in pretending that she knows, either. That’s why she reaches out for help.

She once said, “Every time I come to my mom for advice, she always reminds me that I’ve got this. There’s no pressure to do things just exactly how she did them, but I’m so grateful for all her advice and help. Even when I feel overwhelmed, she’s always there to encourage me and tell me, 'You’re doing a great job!' That gives me the courage to trust my instincts and do what I feel is best for my baby.”

2 Jinger Has Bigger Plans

via: instagram.com

So far Jinger seems to be the more curious Duggar. A lot of Duggar fans even predict that she might be the first Duggar sister to enroll in classes at her local community college. Sure, her mother’s homeschooling has worked well for her and her siblings, but Jinger is eager to know more. She wants to learn, experience and explore. In other words, she wants to know what life is outside her Duggar bubble.

While Jessa might seem like she’s settled on the idea of being a mother and a wife for the rest of her life, Jinger doesn’t see it the same way. Some even believe that she wants to pursue her own career. Considering the fact that she’s so young and no longer constrained by her parents, there’s a good chance that she might actually pursue her big plans one day.

1 What’s Next For Jessa And Jinger?

via: TLC.com

Of course, no one really knows what’s next for Jessa and Jinger Duggar. The two Duggar sisters could easily catch us by surprise with some very unexpected moves in the future. There might be contraception! Or more rebellion. Or even worse, a divorce! One Duggar sister might even say that enough is enough and that all she wants to do in life is dance (and dance, dance, dance!). It’s no wonder Michelle works so hard to keep her kids away from all the vices in the world.

With that being said, though, we have a feeling that this is only the beginning for Jill and Jessa Duggar. We will definitely be seeing more of them in the future. Let’s face it. Everyone is fascinated with the Duggar family. Love them or hate them, there’s no denying that they’ve done a great job of extending their 15 minutes of fame to well over a decade.
