15 Superman’s Death
When you think about it, the actors playing Superman have had some pretty bad luck in the past. Christopher Reeve fell off of his horse which led to him being paralyzed from the neck down, while another Superman actor with a similar surname, George Reeves, died in some pretty mysterious circumstances. Reeves was a star of the series Adventures of Superman and everybody was shocked when he was found dead in his bedroom. After the investigation, the police concluded that Reeves took his life. However, there have been many people who believed that he was murdered and the name Eddie Mannix – husband of Reeves’ lover – was often mentioned in that context. There have been some physical proofs of foul play as well, for starters, Reeves’ body was bruised, the shell casings were found in different areas of the room, and although there were 4 people who heard the gunshot, it took them a suspiciously long time to call the police.
14 How Did Marilyn Monroe Die?
Ever since August 5, 1962, the day of Marilyn Monroe’s death, people have been wondering what actually happened there. There have been countless conspiracy theories regarding her death and even though it was ruled a probable suicide, no one seemed to really believe that. Some people believe she was murdered by Sam Giancana, a mafia boss afraid she would expose information about his operations, many believe she was killed for threatening to expose her romantic affairs with both John and Robert Kennedy, a group of people believes she was assassinated by CIA after being used in operations to seduce world leaders such as Nikita Khrushchev, etc. However, the interesting thing about her death is the fact that there were some of her personal things missing when her body was found, most importantly her diary that could contain important evidence against numerous important people. We’ve all heard the theories about Elvis Presley faking his own death, and while some believe it is all a bunch of nonsense, there are people who are 100% sure Elvis is still alive and well. So how did those rumors get started? Elvis passed away 40 years ago, in 1977, at the age of 42 and his body was found in the bathroom of his Graceland home. However, people have noticed a helicopter landing in Graceland a couple of hours before his “death”. Conspiracy theorists believe he was flown to Bermuda after faking his own death in order to live anonymously once he became tired of being “The King”. There have been thousands of Elvis sightings reported all over the world, some even believe he appeared in one of the scenes in Home Alone. In 2016 a video of a man resembling Elvis, walking around the Graceland property, went viral so people believe Elvis is still going strong at the age of 82.

Natalie Wood was one of the most promising Hollywood actresses since she received three Academy Award nominations before the age of 25. However, her personal life wasn’t all that perfect. She married Robert Wagner twice and many believe that the second time was what cost her her life. So what happened? In November 1981, Natalie Wood and her husband, together with Christopher Walken and the boat’s skipper, set sail for Catalina Island. She was found dead in the water and according to her husband, she fell off the yacht at night and drowned. Her death was ruled an accidental drowning but the case was reopened in 2011 after the boat’s skipper, Denis Davern, published a book where he wrote that Wood and Wagner got into a big fight right before her death with a lot of shouting and sounds of a struggle. In 2012, Wood’s official cause of death was changed from “accidental” to “undetermined”.
11 The Murder Of O.J. Simpson’s Wife
As we all know, everybody is innocent until proven guilty but in the O.J. Simpson murder case, the big majority of people believe he did kill his wife and Ron Goldman despite not being convicted. So what do we know about the case? Nicole Brown was married to O.J. Simpson for 7 years and he was investigated multiple times for domestic violence. In June 1994, Nicole and Ronald Goldman were found murdered and shortly after, O.J. was arrested. During the trial, O.J.’s famous team of lawyers convinced the jury there was reasonable doubt regarding the DNA evidence because it had allegedly been mishandled by the lab scientists. On October 3, 1995, O.J. was found “not guilty” on the count of both murders. However, when the victims’ families filed civil lawsuits, he was found guilty.
10 Was Michael Jackson’s Death A Hoax?
Michael Jackson was one of the most popular entertainers in the world, and his death in 2009 was a massive shock to millions of fans all around the globe. However, shortly after his death, the rumors of him being alive spread like wildfire when hundreds of people reported seeing him in a number of different places. Some believe he faked his death to escape an impossible amount of scheduled shows, as well as the numerous child abuse accusations. People also believe he appeared on one of his daughter Paris’ Instagram posts, and while the most of the people see nothing more but a pile of clothes in the background of the picture in question, the others believe it was, in fact, Michael Jackson’s face. If he really is alive, he owes a huge apology to his physician Conrad Murray who was sentenced to 4 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.
9 The Mysterious Hanging Munchkin
Fans of the Wizard of Oz have noticed something strange at the end of the Tin Woodman sequence as Dorothy, Tin Woodman, and the Scarecrow head down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. The scene soon began known as the “munchkin-suicide” scene because there is something there hanging from the tree that stands along the road. The story goes that one of the munchkin actors fell in love with one of his colleagues and when his feelings weren’t reciprocated, he decided to hang himself on the film’s set. While the official explanation was that it was nothing more than a bird caught on camera, the tale of the munchkin’s suicide has been circulating for years. It also had some background plausibility to it because the set has been known for the drunken misbehavior of the actors and the staff, mostly thanks to Judy Garland who often spoke about it in talk shows.
8 What Happened To Chris Benoit And His Family?
In 2007, the all of the world’s attention was on the professional wrestling for the first time in a very long time – unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. The police entered Chris Benoit's apartment on June 25 after several people claimed Benoit had missed his appointments. What they found in the apartment was beyond everybody expectations. There were dead bodies of Benoit’s 7-year-old son, his wife, and Benoit himself. After the investigation, the police concluded Benoit had killed his wife and child, and committed suicide after that. However, not everybody believes that was what happened. Some people are sure Benoit was murdered as well and somebody made it look like a double-murder and suicide. One of the most suspicious things, in this case, was the fact that somebody wrote on Benoit’s Wikipedia page that his wife was dead 14 hours before the bodies were discovered.
7 Where Did Jean Spangler Go?
Jean Spangler was a young Hollywood actress, model, and dancer, and she has been missing since October 7, 1949. On that day, she said goodbye to her daughter and her sister in law and she told them she was about to meet her ex-husband to talk about the custody payments before heading to the film set for work. That was the last anybody has seen of her. Her purse was found later with torn handles and it contained an unfinished note addressed to “Kirk”. The note said she couldn’t wait any longer and she was about to see “Dr. Scott”. Some believe the “Kirk” in question was Kirk Douglas, and they think she died of a botched abortion. Other people believe she was murdered by her ex-husband, but the case remains unsolved.

The murder of Elizabeth Short, known posthumously as “The Black Dahlia”, is one of the most famous and terrifying Hollywood’s unsolved mysteries. It inspired multiple books and movies, and hundreds of people tried to find her killer – unsuccessfully. So who was Elizabeth Short? She was a young waitress with a big dream of becoming a famous Hollywood actress. Her body was found on January 15, 1947, and it was mutilated in the ways you couldn’t even imagine. After he had killed her, the killer antagonized the police and the public by sending the content of Short’s purse to the press, piece by piece. This remains one of the biggest Hollywood mysteries since the killer hasn’t been found.
5 Was Frank Sinatra Trying To Order A Hit On Woody Allen?
Woody Allen became “kind of creepy” when he married his stepdaughter, Soon-Yi Previn. Sure, she isn’t his biological daughter, but still. If you’re not familiar with this lovely family story, let’s catch you up to speed. Back in the ‘80s, Woody Allen was dating Mia Farrow and he adopted several kids with her, one of them being Soon-Yi Previn. Sure, Mia Farrow was hot, but not enough for Woody not to cheat on her with their daughter Previn. When Farrow found out about the affair, she was heartbroken and really depressed which made her ex-husband, Frank Sinatra, furious. Some sources claim he tried to order Allen’s murder from mafia notables but they wouldn’t do it. If you wonder what happened to the Allen-Previn relationship, they have been happily married since 1997.
4 Is Ronan Farrow Frank Sinatra’s Son?
The relationship between Woody Allen and Mia Farrow was a bigger roller coaster than those crazy relationships you enjoy watching in your favorite telenovelas. Long story short, Mia Farrow divorced Frank Sinatra and started dating Woody Allen, they had one biological son together, Ronan Farrow, and the adopted some kids together, one of them being Soon-Yi Previn. Sure, we all know that Allen cheated on Farrow with Previn, but not everybody knows that there is a strong possibility Farrow cheated on Allen with her ex-husband. Farrow herself admitted that her sexual relationship with Sinatra continued after they got divorced and she also stated that Ronan might be Sinatra’s son. According to Allen, she said those things to get back at him for cheating on her with his adoptive daughter, but even he admitted that there is a strong resemblance between Sinatra and Ronan.
3 The Unsolved Bob Crane Case
Bob Crane was an American drummer, actor, and a very popular radio personality. Meanwhile, in his spare time, he enjoyed having getting intimate with different women while videotaping the whole thing. He often didn’t seduce and film the women alone, but with a little help from his friend John Henry Carpenter. So what happened to Bob Crane? Well, we are not sure because his case remains unsolved. What we do know is that he was found dead on June 29, 1978. The murder weapon hasn’t been identified nor has the killer. Above mentioned Carpenter was the primary suspect in the case and during his trial, Carpenter’s son testified that Crane found Carpenter obnoxious and called him to end the friendship a night before the murder. Carpenter’s attorneys attacked the evidence as circumstantial and they proposed a number of other potential suspects. Carpenter was found “not guilty” and the case remains unsolved.
2 The Sudden Death Of Virginia Rappe
Virginia Rappe was an American model and actress in the early 1920s and her death was quite a shock because the circumstances were as peculiar as it gets. She attended Roscoe Arbuckle’s party, but at some point, during the party, she took ill and went to see the hotel doctor. The doctor told her she had probably just too much to drink that night, but two days later, Rappe was hospitalized. She died of the ruptured bladder but there has been a number of things that contributed to her death, such as a couple of botched abortions, VD, cystitis etc. However, she allegedly suffered a trauma at the party and many people believe her death was a result of a sexual assault by Arbuckle. He was charged with manslaughter and, although he was acquitted, his career never recovered.

Johnny Stompanato left the United States Marines to become a bodyguard to the infamous Cohen crime family. He entered the public eye in the mid-1950s when he began an abusive relationship with Hollywood actress Lana Turner. In 1958, he was stabbed to death by Turner’s daughter. She confessed to killing him to defend her mother whom he beat viciously. The investigators agreed it was a self-defense case and his death was ruled a justifiable homicide. However, many people believe it wasn’t the daughter who killed him, but Lana Turner herself. The rumor has it that the daughter decided to take the blame in order to save her famous mother from a huge scandal. We will probably never know who did it, but it would be a justifiable homicide either way.
