Since Kim Kardashian is no longer as prominent as she used to be, people thought Hollywood's royal family was on its way out the door. That, however, couldn’t be farther from the truth, as her youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, is out to show the world that fans of the American entertainment industry will continue to keep up with their family’s antics for a few more years to come, if not many more. After all, just like her older sister, Kylie’s also one to make lots of headlines and online buzz, making her worthy of the family name.Kylie, however, isn’t only defined by her family’s prestige, wealth and the drama that comes with it. Aside from being a reality TV star by default, she’s also a model and a product endorser, and an entrepreneur in her own right, as she sells all sorts of cosmetics, fashion items, handbags and many others. And because of all the hugely profitable things she does, it shouldn’t be a surprise that she makes money by the boatloads. A few million every year, and that’s a vague and conservative estimate.
With everything she’s earned, it’s safe to say that there are now more things she can buy than those she can’t, and the latter at this point either consists of things priced in the ten digits or intangible things like happiness and world peace. And since Kylie can’t buy hope for humanity, here’s a list of the other pricey things she buys instead.
15 She Joined The “Let’s Buy A House” Party
What should Kylie Jenner buy if she wants to stand out from girls of the same age and nowhere near the same financial status as her? A house. Because unlike your usual girls in their early 20s who can’t save enough money or even find a decent job due to the awful shape of the global economy, Kylie, who gets paid for modelling and acting gigs, or even just by being a Kardashian, can buy not just one — as if buying one is an easy feat — or two, but four houses. First was her “starter home” in Calabasas for $2.6 million, and three in Hidden Hills; the first one is $6 million, the second is $4.5 million and the last is over $12 million. Sure, she might’ve already sold some of them, but it’s not like she needs four multi-million dollar houses anyway. Many of us don’t even have our own houses.
14 She Loves Expensive Luxury Cars
Cars have always been a basic necessity in America, as the country has limited and less-than-ideal public transport systems despite the fact that it’s one of the wealthiest nations in the world. So in order to get around her glamorous backyard that is Beverly Hills and Hollywood, Kylie needs a car. But for a millennial American reality TV royalty like her, any car wouldn’t do. That’s why Kylie bought a handful of supercars. But why not just one car? Well, duh, she’s a Kardashian; she can’t be caught dead driving the same one twice in one week.A $400,000 Lamborghini, a $100,000 Range Rover, a Mercedes Benz G63 SUV, a Ferrari 488 and a Ferrari 458 Spider, which are worth around $260,000 each; and a Rolls Royce Wraith and Ghost, which are around $300,000 each — that should be enough, right? Probably not for her. Guess we’ll have to see if she goes on to buy more.
13 She Loves Getting Expensive Pets
Although we buy puppies and dogs as pets, the love we share with them knows no price. So it doesn’t matter whether your dog is an expensive purebred or a mutt you got off the street because what does is the love, time and attention you give it. And for Kylie Jenner, the price of a dog doesn’t matter, as her adorable little best friends cost her around a thousand bucks. She has greyhounds Norman and Bambi, a long-haired dachshund named Ernie, and another dachshund named Penny. And of course, how can people forget her dog Rollie, a tri English bulldog that Tyga gave to her as a gift, which is worth a whopping $50,000. Kylie raising so many dogs has always been a concern for animal rights activists. But not to worry, as the Kardashian heiress takes great care of her furry family.
12 She Lavishes Gifts On Her Boyfriend
The outdated and misogynistic belief that women do not like spending on their boyfriend is quickly becoming less and less popular and is being proven more and more untrue, as more and more girls buy their boyfriend gifts and pay for their dates with them. The same thing is very much true with Kylie Jenner. No matter who her boyfriend is, she’s always willing to do the spending. After all, she’s one of the richest girls in the world. So who’s she pampering with her earthly riches this time? This time around, after her split with Tyga, it’s Travis Scott, a 25-year-old rapper whose most famous single is “Goosebumps,” which isn’t very big. And because Kylie’s got lots and lots of Kardashian money, she has given Travis jewelry and designer clothes and has taken him on expensive vacations. Needless to say, whoever becomes Kylie’s boyfriend will be very lucky.
11 She Spends A Lot On Tiny Tattoos
Nowadays, tattoos are for women just as much as they are for men. It’s only right, as they should also have the freedom to have art that expresses their identity, ideas, sentiments and tastes on their skin without being judged by society. And Kylie Jenner, being a lady who embraces as well as sets trends for young girls across the world, has a few works of art on her body. There’s that eye-shaped tattoo on her right index finger, a red and short jagged line on each little finger, a small red heart on her right arm, the phonetic transcription of the word sanity in red ink on her right hip, her grandmother’s name Mary Jo written in red script, a small colorless butterfly on her right foreleg just above the foot, and something that reads like the word “La” in script on her left foreleg just above the foot.
10 She Buys A Whole Lot Of Wigs
If you already have beautiful hair, the last thing you’d probably spend your money on would be a wig. Think about it; why would you even waste your hard-earned cash on obviously fake hair when you have long and flowing natural locks that catch everyone’s attention? Still, Kylie Jenner spends a good amount on wigs. Why? It’s so that she can sport all sorts of hairstyles without the hassle of coloring and cutting her crowning glory on a regular basis, so don’t be surprised why she was able to switch from long black to short blonde, mint green and turquoise in a span of a few weeks. And the wigs she has bought are designer wigs, the kind that looks like real hair. Made by self-proclaimed “hair designer” Tokyo Stylez, they’re around $600 to $5,000 each. Who knew your monthly salary could only be worth fake hair?
9 She Makes Frequent Trips To The Tanning Salon
It might not look like it, but Kylie is actually whiter than your usual white girl. In true Kardashian fashion, however, Kylie doesn’t seem to lose her perfectly golden brown tan. It’s almost as if it’s already her natural skin color at this point. And it suits her perfectly well, as it makes her seem like she leads an active and healthy life. Unfortunately, her perfectly even brown tone isn’t because of her time outside her home and under the sun. Rather, it’s because of all her time inside a tanning salon. And it’s not just any spray tan salon, but Jimmy Coco, the spray tan salon of spray tan salons, where every session is worth $350. Sure, it’s not much compared to the other glamorous stuff she’s spent her money on, but she still could’ve saved all that money if she got her tan the old-fashioned way instead.
8 She Gets Her Nails Done For A Few Hundred Bucks
Girls spend a great deal of time and a considerable amount of money taking care of their nails. Of course, it goes without saying that Kylie also gives the same level of dedication to her nails as an ordinary girl does, if not more. And by more, we don’t just mean time and attention, but also money. Once again, it goes without saying that Kylie, with all the Jenner dollars she has earned, spends more on her nails than the usual girl does. Aside from her fancy nail art and perfectly maintained coffin nails, she has also hired LA-based manicurist Britney Tokyo, who charges $125 for a two-hour gel art session, and a $50 house call. It’s not as big as compared to the other things she spends money on, but we doubt you’d pay around $200 for your nails if you’re not a Kardashian.
7 She Loves Victoria’s Secret
Having flawless curves is a quintessential part of the signature Kardashian look. Kim K, the Kardashian daughter that brought the Hollywood-famous family name to even greater heights, rocked that look, and it has become an iconic must-have for the family’s successors Kendall Jenner and, of course, Kylie. A lot of her haters, however, have been accusing her of having enhancements just to get the look. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t be more wrong even if they tried, as she got the curves not by doing anything drastic, but with the help of padded bras from Victoria’s Secret. With them, Kylie’s cup size is up by two sizes. So, if you’re a girl who wants to follow Kim K and Kylie, there’s no better place to start than your nearest Victoria’s Secret branch.
6 She Buys Tons Of Pairs Of Lashes
Regular people think that the Kardashians are faking their looks and their image. On the other hand, people who understand how show business and stardom works would say that these women are masters of the craft. Generating drama, doing controversial things, wearing fake eyelashes — it comes within Kardashian territory. And yes, you read that right: someone in the family is using fake eyelashes. It’s not the result of winning the genetic lottery or having mad mascara skills. Rather, it’s mink lashes — you know, the same weasel-like mammal whose fur is used to make coats — from Lilly Lashes. This might be a big deal for those obsessed with Hollywood culture, but Kylie admitted it on her Instagram account, so people shouldn’t feel like they’ve been deceived. It is, however, a bit unfortunate for the minks.
5 She Loves Buying Extravagant Gifts For Her Friends
It might not seem like it, but Kylie’s actually the giving type. She’s an extravagant giver not only to her past and present boyfriends but also to her family and friends. And given the fact that she has a really fat bank account, it’s no surprise that just like the gifts she’s given to Tyga and Travis Scott, the ones she gives to her sisters — blood-related or otherwise — are pricey. A good example is the car she gave to her best friend Jordyn Woods. And it’s not just any car that she gave to her BFF, but a Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 63 Coupe. And for her family, she’s given her mom Kris Jenner a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, her sister Kendall a greyhound puppy and even her sister’s ex-lover Scott Disick a $50,000 watch and lighter. Wow. Even an ex-brother-in-law got a gift. But that’s Kylie for you.
4 She Is All About Throwing Loads Of Parties
Partying is one thing, and throwing a party is completely another thing. Kylie definitely knows how to do both, and she’s probably even better in the latter than the former. Remember Kylie’s Sweet 16? Well, it’s safe to assume that it’s bigger than any Sweet 16 party MTV managed to air. And just when people thought the party couldn’t be beaten, her 18th birthday party came, which took place in a luxurious West Hollywood venue, had two outfit changes for Kylie, a huge guest list that included many of Tinsel Town’s big names and a $320,000 present. Further proof that Kylie’s one hell of a party thrower is the party she threw her mother for her 60th birthday: a big and lavish Great Gatsby-themed party fit for one of Hollywood’s royal families. Looks like Kylie will beat Diddy soon.
3 She Likes To Donate To Charities And People In Need
Despite the fact that Kylie spends a lot of money on things virtue signalers consider insipid or consumerist, she’s also one to give to worthy causes, an act that many of the same virtue signalers that call her out would consider noble – if they knew, that is. So if you’re one of those people, now you know that Kylie not only gives to people within her circle but also those that are outside of it. She has donated to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, launched an anti-bullying hashtag campaign #IAmMoreThan where she meets bullying victims that have inspiring messages and has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to Teen Cancer America. Call her and what she’s doing whatever you want, believe in her sincerity or otherwise, it doesn’t matter: help is help, and Kylie’s giving lots of it. What about the people who criticize her? We can only wonder what they’ve done to help.
2 She Gets Lots And Lots Of Designer Clothes
Second to the last and definitely not the least would be her extensive collection of clothes. It’d be wrong if she didn’t have it, as she’s both an Instagram model and an actual model with an actual modelling contract. Plus, as a Kardashian, it’s imperative for her to be a fashion trendsetter, and to be that she has to have a lot of wardrobe choices. Plus, in the dog-eat-dog world of the rich and the famous, she can’t be caught in public or online wearing the same thing several times, so her purchases of all sorts of threads — Balmain, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and many other designer brands — are a necessary survival tactic. Now, with all the clothes the young Kardashian has, one can only wonder how big her wardrobe is. Well, it’s probably safe to say that you can wander off to an alternate dimension if you enter it.
1 She Acquires A Ridiculous Amount Of Shoes
Last but definitely not least would be shoes. If you’ve been following all things Kylie for quite some time now, you’ve already probably realized that the youngest Kardashian star is all about footwear, as she has lots of Instagram and Snapchat photos of nothing but the shoes she had worn. Heck, she even has a “Shoe of the Day” on her Snapchat, where she shares her chosen footwear for that particular date.
Collecting shoes is a rather ordinary hobby; even regular folk with a few bucks to spare have their own small shoe collections. What separates Kylie’s and other people’s collection, however, is the fact that hers are hundreds of designer pairs, such as Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Balmain and Marc Jacobs. If you’re only familiar with one or two of those brands, it’s okay. No shame in not knowing the names of shoes above regular folks’ spending power.
