Remember back when Ben Affleck dated Jennifer Lopez? The guy even proposed and bought her a beautiful engagement ring with an enormous pink diamond. He also bought Lopez a Rolls Royce. As we all know, their relationship didn’t actually make it to the altar, but it did prove that old Benny likes to give gifts. No doubt, that’s how he initially wooed his now-ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

However, after 10-plus years of marriage, Affleck and Garner filed for divorce. Garner is now officially his ex-wife. After a two-year separation, the couple filed in April of 2017. The divorce is almost complete and is just waiting on the financial details to be finalized. And we all know by now what caused the divorce.

Ben was caught cheating with his nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Christine declared to the world that she was in love, while Ben never even admitted they even slept together. Most recently, Ben’s been dating Lindsay Shookus, a Saturday Night Live producer.

So, to make a long story short, Ben Affleck is single. And when he’s single, he loves to spend money. This article lists all of the presents he has given his girlfriend, whether she was also the nanny or somebody else. It’s been a rough go for Ben these last few years, but it seems that he is finally enjoying himself and his wealth, once again.

Pricey Hotel Suites (One Of The Fanciest Hotels In LA, The Hotel Bel-Air)

Benny bought this treat for the nanny, Christine Ouzounian. In the dawn of the scandal that destroyed his marriage, Ben used one of the fanciest hotels in Los Angeles, the Hotel Bel-Air, to provide sanctuary for the young blonde. He was also rumored to meet her there for their trysts. She stayed at the posh inn for days and weeks at a time, which is no small fee.

Base rooms at the ritzy hotel and resort go from anywhere around a grand up to $1500 per night. And that’s not including any upgrades that may be included

or food and drink. Ouzounian was often photographed in her bikini, poolside with a friend along with her, sipping on cocktails all day that cost at least $20 each. Talk about taking advantage of the situation. Ouzounian’s vacation-style spending may have upset Ben, who never admitted to having any true affection for the girl.

Lexus IS Convertible

Let us restate that Ben doesn’t always seem to agree with Ouzounian. This time, she claims to everyone in her life, including the press and social media, that Benny bought her this Lexus. Ben says he did no such thing, but if that’s true, then how could the girl afford the car herself? Even if she did have the funds, why would she spend them all on a car? It would be far more practical for her to buy a really nice Honda Accord than this $43,000 luxurious convertible.

And most people don’t go out and buy a car in an attempt to “frame” somebody for buying it. That’s ridiculous.

So it’s a safe bet that Ben bought her the Lexus on a whim and later regretted it. We all get buyer’s remorse. Just imagine how that remorse would feel if the car wasn’t even your own and the gal you bought it for helped destroy your marriage.

Huge Barbecue Party

Ben is super rich, everybody knows that. And he likes to have a good time. He owns several properties, including a home in Georgia, about thirty-five miles south of Savannah, on Hampton Island. This was land that he bought when he was with J-Lo, long before Garner came into the picture. Ben has called it his refuge and one of the most relaxing places on earth. Well, after the divorce and separation with Garner began, Benny went down to GA to blow off some steam.

He had barbecue catered for 35 people, and Ouzounian was rumored to make an appearance.

So, was this party thrown for her or was it just Benny trying to blow off some steam after hard times fell on his marriage? Either way, this is just another luxurious expenditure that his wife surely did not approve of.

Romantic Dinners

Ben is one of those stars who is not afraid of the paparazzi. Even when his life is getting rocky, the guy still goes out to eat. He’s not going to hide and order takeout. Everybody knows that the food always tastes better when you eat it there anyway, and Ben has some great taste in food. He’s been spotted on a date at the legendary Mr. Chow. Mr. Chow is one of those places that define New York City.

The Chinese restaurant has been around since 1979 and has been described as a “precious jewel box” by dining critics.

On the west coast, Ben’s been spotted at Nobu in Malibu, a classic hot-spot that serves the freshest seafood and sushi. Giorgio Baldi, another legendary restaurant in Los Angeles, serves the finest steaks, seafood, pasta, and Italian dishes. Ben was spotted taking Lindsay Shookus to all three of these restaurants in the last few months.

Skinnygirl

Okay, this one is by far the cheapest item on the list, but it’s worth noting for a couple reasons. Skinnygirl Margarita goes for about $10 a bottle. There are various flavors, and they’re all pretty darn sweet. Not really what you might expect a big tough guy like Ben to be drinking. The cocktail was invented by none other than Bethenny Frankel of Real Housewives of New York fame. Ben was spotted buying the drinks at The Umbrella Factory, a supermarket in Naples, Maine, last summer. The reason why this is significant is for one, he was with Lindsay Shookus, whom he is still dating, and they’re rumored to be pretty serious. The second reason why this is big is because Ben had just left alcohol counselling when this purchase was made. Like we mentioned earlier, this is a pretty sweet drink, so maybe Ben wasn’t partaking. You never know.

Comedy Club Seats

There’s a comedy club called iO West Comedy Club in LA, which is the premier club of the west coast. It’s basically the Second City of Chicago, in Los Angeles. And while this may not be a very expensive ticket to acquire, it’s really got to hurt the ex-wife.

Not only has Ben moved on much faster than Garner, but here he is having a grand old time and laughing the night away.

Surely, Garner wants him to be happy, but not this happy. Ben was spotted at the club with Lindsay Shookus, who was undoubtedly taking notes and possibly recruiting talent for her show, SNL. They were spotted last summer, and Ben’s little brother, Casey Affleck, also joined the festivities.

Shopping Spree At Barney's New York

If you know anything about New York City, then you know that there is one store that defines its shopping scene. Barney’s is the legendary store that’s like Macy's, only much, much nicer. Barney’s even tops Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. For example, you can buy Adidas shoes at any of these stores.

But, where can you buy designer original sneakers by Alexander Wang that cost upwards of $250? That would be Barney’s.

Surprisingly enough, the department store went bankrupt and closed some of its national locations. It bounced back only to be the topic of racial controversy, after several African-American paying customers were erroneously targeted as thieves. Fans have even petitioned Jay-Z to cut his ties with the store. But the retail business rolls on. Affleck shops here quite frequently with Shookus.

Tennis Tickets

Speaking of Jay-Z, who is obviously one of the richest stars in the history of hip-hop, he's also a guy who enjoys watching a tennis match. Jay and Beyonce have been spotted at tennis games, as well as a super long list of celebrities. Names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Stiller, Jon Hamm, Mariska Hargitay, Drake, and Queen Latifah all love watching tennis. Since when did tennis get so big? It’s an amazing Hollywood trend and one that Ben did not want to miss out on.

He was spotted at the U.S. Open in Queens, New York last fall with Lindsay Shookus.

That was the night before they were spotted in NYC going out to dinner and then viewing a film. They chose the classic horror movie reboot, It, and left the theater laughing like it was a comedy.

Diamond-Studded Toilet Seat

This one is a throwback to the Jennifer Lopez days. That’s back when Benny was young, carefree, and really blowing his cash. Aside from the humongous $2.5-million engagement ring (that she gave back), which we mentioned in the intro,

Ben also spoiled his lady with a diamond-studded toilet seat. The seat reportedly cost over $100,000 and included rubies, sapphires, and pearls.

When asked about the splurge, he supposedly told a friend, “Jennifer is my princess and she deserves only the best -- even when it comes to toilets." Well J-Lo’s rear end has always been her best... asset. She reportedly insured her backside for $27 million. People magazine also claims that Julia Roberts insured her smile, Rihanna insured her legs, and Bruce Springsteen insured his vocal cords. However, when James Corden asked Lopez about the claim, she said it was merely a Hollywood myth.

Celebration Bubbly

After Ben gives all of these awesome presents out to everybody else, you would think he deserves something in return, right? Well, that’s what this entry is all about. As soon as it was announced that Ben was getting a divorce from Jennifer Garner, none other than the home-wrecking nanny herself, Christine Ouzounian, sent Affleck a bottle of champagne.

This gesture further suggests that the love between Ben and Christine was legit.

When she sent the celebratory gift, Ouzounian assumed Ben would be hers, and they would live happily ever after. Of course, that’s not how life unfolded for the nanny, and now she’s ancient history. Ben ended up reconciling with Garner momentarily. They postponed their divorce and downgraded to a separation. They tried to make it work for a while and then finally admitted that divorce was inevitable.

Three Pairs Of Louboutin Stilettos

So, just to give you an idea of how luxurious things can be for a movie star like Ben, let’s use an example. Let’s take something that everyone needs, a modern necessity like footwear. We all have to buy shoes. We all go to the store and try them on, and sometimes, if it looks and fits just right, we buy a pair. Let’s repeat that, “a pair.” Who buys two pairs of shoes? Okay, maybe if you need a work pair and a casual pair, but two is tops. Nobody buys three pairs of shoes at once. That’s excessive! And

we’re not talking about $30 Converse All-Stars here, we’re talking primo Christian Louboutin pumps that average around $1000 a pair.

That’s just too much. But as this article proves, no price is too high for Ben and his girlfriends. Lindsay Shookus was the lucky shopper.

Visit With Brady

Sometimes, those special one-of-a-kind personal experiences can be purchased. After all, many famous celebrities charge a fee to show up for events, like conferences, charitable dinners, or birthday parties. Mariah Carey once sang four songs for $1 million at a private event in St Barts. Christina Aguilera once sang for an hour, for $1 million at a Halloween party. People want to meet their heroes and spare no expense to do so. You can even pay to skip the line and meet Mickey Mouse at Disney World for the right price. Although Affleck is a HUGE Pats fan, we’re not saying that Ben paid Tom Brady for a private audience on his personal jet.

But rumor has it that Ouzounian herself may have paid Brady with a personal favor or two.

After these photos surfaced, with the nanny wearing Tom’s Super Bowl rings, his wife, Gisele, was beyond upset. The Brady marriage was nearly derailed by Ouzounian too, but it has since recovered.

Expensive Jewelry

All of the latest tabloids are saying that Lindsay Shookus is wearing an engagement ring and that the couple may already be married, and if not, a date has been set. Of course, there is always a thread of truth to these claims.

The story goes that Jennifer Garner first found out about Ben’s new girl, Shookus, because she discovered a jewelry store receipt.

That claim does make sense because the couple is still in the process of organizing finances to finalize their divorce. So, all big-ticket items would be revealed. And Shookus has been spotted wearing a large gem. However, the ring is supposedly not on the correct finger. As of January 20th, when Ben was confronted by paparazzi at the airport, he denied all claims of an engagement. But as the old saying goes, you can't believe car salesmen and actors. They’re professional liars.

Dodge Charger

After all of this spending, it’s only fair to mention something that Ben bought for himself. It’s only natural to find something you want for your own when you’re browsing for others.

Maybe when Ben was looking for the Lexus for Ouzounian, he discovered a deal on this Dodge Charger.

This is a black Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. According to Car and Driver, “The SRT is Mopar-speak for, 'Give it a really big engine.'” This muscle car is further described as “707 horsepower, from its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8; it’s the most powerful production sedan on Earth.” So maybe Benny was feeling a little left out after dropping so much cash for others. Or maybe he was getting into character for Batman and found the closest thing out there to a street-legal Batmobile. Either way, this $60,000 vehicle deserved a mention, as it undoubtedly served as what Ben may call a babe magnet.

CVS Junk

So, in this final entry, we’re going to prove how sad and doomed the marriage with Garner truly was. After all of these entries, you’ve seen how much Ben likes to spend his cash. He’ll drop huge money on anything from shoes, to cars, to toilet seats. But here’s the kicker. Guess where he shops for Garner? When Ben was interviewed on Ellen,

Affleck stated that he waits for the last second to buy gifts for his ex-wife, and then he often finds himself searching the aisles at CVS.

We all have been to CVS, or Walgreens, and the like. There is nothing good there. Those places are for filling prescriptions or grabbing an unhealthy snack, like Doritos and Pepsi. This is not the place to buy a romantic gift for your wife. As soon as this interview aired, it was painfully obvious that this marriage would soon be over.
