Everybody knows it's nice to be nice -- well, almost everybody. It looks like there are more than just a handful of stars that this concept might be new to. Fortunately for us, the string of celebs we’re about to reveal are so blatantly rude and insulting that we’ve managed to compile a whole list for you, and let us tell you, it is shocking! Many of the stars on this list were rude to fans for just asking for their autograph while others fans were mocked, humiliated, and screamed at.

Maybe it’s true what they say: when you're rich and famous, it's easy to lose sight of the little people. Then again, celebs have the choice whether to be gracious and accommodating or just go full jerk, and after what we’ve discovered, it seems these celebs are prone to opt for the latter.

Take for example Will Ferrell, who was recently outed by Autograph Magazine (yes that’s a real thing) for being the worst celebrity signer. Word has it that the actor taunts and embarrasses his fans who simply ask him for his signature. Another name to pop up in Hollywood is that of Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine who is all kinds of rude. His worst insult yet - "I don't give autographs to ugly chicks." Yikes!

We’ve always wondered what it would be like having the world’s gaze fixed firmly on you, watching your every move and being drowned in adoration. Perhaps it gets you to a point where you can’t interact with us normal people and forget how to behave in social circles. Or at least that’s the only reason we could come up with for these stars behaving the way that they do.

Here's a look at 15 Stars Who Humiliated Their Fans in the most memorable and mortifying ways…

Michael Jordan

When it comes to NBA legend and sports star Michael Jordan, it pains us to see his name make the grade. Unfortunately, the legend of Jordan’s rudeness outweighs that of his sporting capabilities, and whilst it can’t be easy to be the center of attention, it's easy to be polite.

Michael Jordan was anything but polite when rapper Chamillionaire asked the retired basketball player for his photograph. According to Chamillionaire's interview with the Madd Hatta Morning Show back in 2015, the rapper bought a Jordan jersey at a charity event for a whopping $15,000, but when he asked for a photo with Michael Jordan, he reportedly said, "I don't take pictures with n****'s" and told Chamillionaire to pay him $15k in exchange for a photo. Chamillionaire declined.

That’s just one example among hundreds. Here's another: after a long day on the golf course, Michael Jordan’s caddy asked Jordan if everything was alright because he was about to leave, and the star allegedly responded, "What, do you want a tip? You should feel lucky to carry my clubs." Ouch.

Kylie Jenner

Youngest sibling to the Kardashian klan and make-up guru Kylie Jenner might rely on her fans for a living, but you can be sure as hell you can’t rely on her for a fan pic. The young star clearly feels that it isn’t necessary to pay back her fans with autographs or to oblige in selfies with them, but rather without them. A young fan that was once brave enough to approach the shocking star when she spotted her at a West Hollywood restaurant was not only refused a pic, but she was snapped at and brought to tears.

Kylie allegedly snapped, "Don’t touch me," and the little girl was crushed. Luckily for her older sis, Kendall came to the rescue and happily posed for pics with her and was so gentle and accommodating, the girl was brought to tears again. Just an average day in Hollywood, it seems. Nothing to see here; as you were…

Britney Spears

There are hundreds upon hundreds of stories circulating about Britney Spears being rude to her fans. She may have been in the spotlight since she was a child star, but if her fan pics tell us anything, it’s that it hasn’t taught her about overall fan etiquette and grace. The evidence is pretty evident from the awkward photos that surface from her meet-and-greets.

Then there's all the video footage that has surfaced. During a live performance at her Las Vegas show, Britney Spears was captured on camera apparently responding to a rude member of the audience. Just as her backing music began to start, the songstress could be heard dropping an f-bomb into her mic as she said, "F**king a**hole!"

Other allegations of the star being rude and outrageously shocking include screaming at an 8-year-old fan and calling her a skank!

Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron is a bona fide mean girl, and we have just the evidence to prove it. In an exclusive with In Touch magazine, Tia Mowry reveals all and dishes on her encounter with the Hollywood star. She went on to say that she had bumped into the Oscar-winning actress at a SoulCycle spin class. "She wasn't very nice to me. I said, 'Hi,' and she actually rolled her eyes and said, 'Oh my God.'" Mowry assured the mag she wasn't being over-the-top but, rather, "Charlize was just mean. I'm just being honest."

While Tia tells the mag that she understands that anyone can be caught on a bad day, the exchange was still a disappointment. “I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity,” she adds.

Madonna

If you’re a fan of the Queen of Pop, then we have to issue a little warning that this next piece might upset you. Sure, she has a reputation for being rude and cruel, but this shocking behavior takes celebrity stardom to a whole new level. A Reddit witness once watched Madonna write "f**k you" down onto a piece of paper instead of signing an autograph for the young adoring fan. The most shocking thing of all -- that wasn’t even an isolated incident!

The Daily Mail went on to report that Madonna has long berated her fans for having the nerve to be upset that she shows up more than an hour late for her concerts. During a live show in December 2015, Madge went on to shout at the crowd, "All you b****es who keep complaining about it can shut the f**k up… If you diva b****es want to keep complaining about it, don't come to my show."

Real classy broad that…

Jennifer Lopez

We’re devastated to see Jenny from the Block make the cut as clearly, she isn’t the same Jenny from the Block we once fell in love with. Recent reports of the singer-turned-actress being rude to her fans have surfaced, and it paints a rather ugly picture.

Rumour has it that Miss Lopez refuses to talk to any of the “common folk,” which include the likes of waiters, hotel staff, and salespeople. Instead, she will only talk to them through her assistants. That doesn’t seem too bad, right? Wrong, The Latina beauty went so far as to have a maid fired for asking for her autograph. The maid revealed all to Radar saying, “I am an incredibly big fan, so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get an autograph… but I was rejected by two assistants at the door.” Lopez wasn’t too happy about the incident and promptly got the maid fired.

Gene Simmons

For a bass player who dresses like a clown, he sure knows how to act like one. More surprising is that through it all, Gene Simmons continues to have a very high opinion of himself. The Kiss rocker is notorious for being disrespectful to fans and not caring about whom he humiliates next.

His worst offense to date was when he made international headlines for his remarks about a fan with mental health issues and suffering from depression. He told Songfacts, "I'm the guy who says 'Jump!' when there's a guy on top of a building who says, 'That's it, I can't take it anymore, I'm going to jump.' Are you kidding? Why are you announcing it? Shut the f**k up, have some dignity, and jump! You've got the crowd." Needless to say, multiple radio stations stopped playing his music in response.

Christian Bale

Imagine being so mean that you could make little girls cry. Well, for Christian Bale, this was just another afternoon as the Batman star is infamous for his interactions with his fans. His ex-publicist (no surprises there) went on to write a tell-all book about his time with Christian Bale, and it's anything but flattering. The biography reveals details about the particular incident in which the actor was so nasty to little girls he made them cry. In fact, according to the Huffington Post, which reviewed the new book, Bale would “lecture little girls about being rude and intrusive until tears streamed down their faces, and their parents tugged them away from our table.” It seems there’s a darker side to the Dark Knight that we knew nothing about…

Rihanna

A lot of the time, we don’t get to see celebrities as real people, and we forget that they, too, have a softer side to them -- a more human side -- and that sometimes they even have a sense of humor. For pop queen Rihanna, it seems she has that side as well as an uptight, I-take-myself-too-seriously side. People say you don’t want to mess with Rihanna on Twitter, and after witnessing a few online brawls, it’s easy to see why. The lady is quick to burn, and dare we say it, she doesn’t hold back. A fan once tweeted to RiRi that she'd lost respect for her and that collaborating with "the dude that beat your face off is not a good look," and Rihanna immediately replied with "neither is your avi #clapback".

A fan even attempted to copy one of Rihanna’s red carpet looks for her prom outfit and tagged her in the pics to which Rihanna responded by making fun of the girl and likening her outfit to a bat.

Christina Aguilera

It’s safe to say that pop princess Christina Aguilera is making more enemies than friends in Hollywood, and that isn’t enough to slow her down. The Voice star has played host to several complaints about her ranging from adoring fans to adoring celeb fans.

Hollywood actress and singer Valerie Bertinelli once bumped into Aguilera and was showering her with compliments when Christina interrupted with “yeah whatever” and proceeded to walk away.

"I was a fan at that time - a long time ago - and I went up to her 'cause she was at a Van Halen concert, and I said, 'Oh my god, I think you're a beautiful singer,'" said Valerie to TV show host Andy Cohen. She says Christina brushed her off and muttered, "Yeah, whatever." "She gave me the cold shoulder," Valerie recalled, "and I thought, 'B****, I'm a fan. You can't be nice to me?'"

Justin Bieber

If you refer to one of your fans as a “beached whale,” then you deserve a mention in the Top 15, and that’s exactly where Justin Bieber has landed. The name-calling took place when Bieber was lounging by the pool at a hotel in Australia, but that wasn't the first and last time.

When it comes to being rude to fans, Justin Bieber is a repeat offender. His lengthy list of offenses include name-calling, spitting on fans, peeing in buckets, and just being all around rude and degrading. If you’re a die-hard Belieber fan, we empathize with you. The news was a devastating blow for us all. We had just forgiven him for that bloody awful haircut when he finally made music we could listen to.

Perhaps it's a case of it being a little too late, but the pop star took to Instagram, nevertheless, to let his fans know he’ll no longer being taking any pictures with them. “If you happen to see me out somewhere, know that I’m not gonna take a picture. I’m done taking pictures,” he wrote.

"It has gotten to the point that people won’t even say hi to me or recognize me as a human. I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity.”

Ewan McGregor

So much can be said about our next shocking star, Ewan McGregor. In a 2014 interview with Details magazine, the Star Wars star was asked about his experiences with "intense" fans. This was all that was needed to unleash the inner beast in him, and soon, a sh*t storm was released.

"I don't have any experience with them," McGregor said, before adding, "the people I meet are the f***ers who want me to sign Star Wars photos." These people are, apparently, "parasitical lowlifes and f***ing w***ers." His admission later in the interview that he was used to fans coming up to him in the street and telling him what they thought of the prequels probably had something to do with his outburst.

Right, so no more requests for autographs by Ewan McGregor -- you got that?

Kanye West

Are you surprised to see Kanye West make the list as a shocking star who humiliated his fans? Perhaps you've forgotten he was the very celeb who brazenly took a mic out of Taylor Swift's hands and said that Beyoncé deserved the award more than Tay did live on TV during an awards show. If only he drew the line there -- but this is Kanye West, and there will be no lines drawn.

The rapper, fashion designer, and other half to Kim Kardashian went on to tell a wheelchair-bound fan to stand up for his performance. The shocking video surfaced of him stopping his concert mid-performance as he was refusing to keep performing unless the fan got up and danced. He said, “Unless you got a handicap pass and get special parking and sh**t.” We’re hoping the star just didn’t realize the concert-goer couldn’t get up, and it wasn’t that he just didn’t want to, but after all of his crazy past antics, anything is possible. The star has been called out for being rude and arrogant, and even former President Barack Obama has called the star a jackass.

Tom Cruise

There’s been a string of cases where Tom Cruise has been rude to fans and has refused to participate in fan pics or meet-and-greets. He clearly doesn’t value regular people as fans, but what about celeb fans? Clearly, it doesn’t sway the shocking star as he never filtered what he had to say about Brooke Shields.

Tom Cruise didn’t hold back as he criticized Brooke Shields during an interview with Matt Lauer for The Today Show. Cruise criticized Shields for taking medication for her postpartum depression. Thankfully, Shields is not one to take abuse lying down, and she got her own back in The New York Times. She was quoted as saying, “I’m going to take a wild guess and say Mr. Cruise has never suffered from postpartum depression. If any good can come of Mr. Cruise's ridiculous rant, let's hope that it gives much-needed attention to a serious disease.”

Martha Stewart

If you thought Christian Bale was bad, then wait ‘til you hear about what we have to reveal about Martha Stewart!

A red-faced fan was left reeling after requesting for Martha Stewart’s autograph. Martha allegedly told her, "Unless you can magically make coffee appear, get out of my face."

Another incident involved Martha and her mother who were chatting at a charity event. A fan overheard the exchange and revealed all. “When Stewart's mom asked what to do with floral arrangements at the event, Stewart allegedly replied, "We take them or throw them out; these common people don't deserve them -- far too expensive, and they wouldn't appreciate their beauty."
