Everyone enjoys video games, right? You don't have to be a nerd, geek, or genius to get it. They fill up an otherwise empty slot in our lives. Video games allow an escape from the ordinary stressful world that we live in. It's like watching a movie, only so much better. Movies are great, but they don't put you in the characters' shoes. With video games, you can control what happens next. The character's life is in your hands. Plus, video games have been known to wow us with some seriously hot seductive female characters. Women that are both sexy and can kick some serious ass!

Speaking of seriously hot seductive female video game characters, have you ever wondered what it would be like if the hottest female characters were to cross over from video game fantasies into real life? That's what happens with video game cosplays! Cosplay is when people dress up as their favorite characters. The characters can be from movies, anime, cartoons, or anything. Although nothing could be quite as sexy as seeing a hot cosplayer, cosplaying as some of the hottest, baddest, kick-a*s characters from your favorite video games.

So, let's take a step into that fantasy world. The one where all the hottest female video game characters become real. These are some of the most popular video game characters and the hottest cosplayers that love to cosplay as them. Here are 15 Seriously Hot Video Game Cosplays That You Must See to Believe...

15 Cortana (Halo)

Halo has been the face of Microsoft's Xbox for almost two decades. The popular video game series spawned comics, books, and short films. This should make it easy for you to recognize the AI for Master Chief Petty Officer John 117, aka your character from the game. If not, then meet Cortana. She guides John, gives him tactical information, and provides the backstory for him/you during the game. Cortana is hot, interesting, and smarter than your average artificial intelligence. She was created using tissue from her creator's brain.

Cortana has been so popular in the Halo series that Microsoft even named their virtual assistant after her. She has a huge fan base all her own. She may not kick butts using her hands and feet, but she is just as vital to the mission. Her popularity is so profound that Microsoft named their virtual assistant after her. Kristen Lanae's cosplay is one seriously hot rendition of Cortana from Halo.

14 Kiera Metz (The Witcher 3)

The Witcher video game series has a little in common with Dragon Age when it comes to the storylines that include relationships. Both are realistic in the aspect of meeting, flirting, and getting down to business. Keira Metz is one of the first characters that you can get busy with in The Witcher 3. She is a beautiful sorceress who spends most of the game hiding from the witch hunter, but has a strong relationship with the main character, Geralt. She is very powerful and uses lightning bolts and levitation against her enemies.

Lyumos has done a wonderful job bringing Keira Metz to life. This sorceress looks like she's straight out of the forest from The Witcher 3. She isn't hiding at the moment; just out for a stroll, gathering things that she can sell in Velen. Hey, at least she isn't off pursuing the witcher with magically generated chambers and baths.

13 Nina Williams (Tekken 7)

Nina Williams is the goddess of Tekken. Plain and simple. She isn't just the hottest female character of the series. Nina was the only female character from the original and the only woman to have been in every game since. She even had her own spin-off game, Death by Degrees. Nina Williams is one of the hottest video game characters to date, but she is so much more than just hot. In fact, she is a kick-a*s Irish assassin, best known for her lightning-fast speed, and lethal fighting style.

Nebulaluben has done a seriously hot video game cosplay of Nina Williams. It has been suggested that games like Tekken are behind on times because of the skimpy clothing worn by female characters. Due to contrary belief, there are quite a few women who would beg to differ. For some, part of the fun is choosing to play as a female character because of the fact that you can be that hot and mysterious character. However, you can still kick the male character's as*es while you're at it!

12 Morrigan (Dragon Age)

The gaming world crossed more realistic yet fantastical boundaries with the creation of Dragon Age. The game's settings and characters are all fantasy, but the relationships are realistic in a way that you can actually feel. One of the game's best female characters is Morrigan, who is a Witch of the Wilds. She accompanies the warden and is able to have a romantic relationship with them. Morrigan is powerful as a shapeshifter, and she is incredibly mysterious and sexy.

In fact, she is so sexy that there have been entire gamer threads based solely on her hotness. There are YouTube compilations based upon just her romantic scenes. Why is it that hot plus deadly is always equal to hot? This cosplay of Morrigan was done by MaltexBaby. The 'sexy' is there, right along with all of that detail that makes her so mysterious and appealing yet somehow dangerous.

11 Cindy Aurum (Final Fantasy)

Final Fantasy XV went super sexy with their latest character, Cindy Aurum. She's that smokin' hot blonde mechanic. The one who pops up to look under your hood in the push-up bra. The idea is perfect, really. You've got two kinds of women when it comes to car repairs—the damsel in distress and the one who gets downright greasy up under the hood. Both are hot in their own way, but there is something extra hot about the one under that hood ready to fix it herself.

This was a great step for Final Fantasy. Everyone relies on the mechanic to get around, right? Of course, true feminists complain about her super-short shorts and push-up bra. However, she has got the manliest of jobs. She fixes cars. She's not the mechanic's assistant upfront. Cindy Aurum is the head mechanic. Besides, who hasn't wished their mechanic had a rack like hers? Luna Lanie did a great job with this seriously hot video game cosplay of Cindy Aurum.

10 Triss Merigold (The Witcher)

Here we are revisiting The Witcher. This time it's Triss Marigold, who is another love interest for the witcher, Geralt. He certainly gets around, doesn't he? Although, this relationship is less of a bewitchment and more of a real love affair. Also like Keira, Triss is a powerful sorceress. Although, she is more of a healer. She makes and works with potions that heal, even though she is allergic to them herself.

As for The Witcher series, there are both video games and novels. The version of Triss that you see above is from the video game series. You can tell by the cosplayer's bright-red hair. (Triss Merigold has chestnut hair in the novels.) Disharmonica's version of her is seriously hot. The fiery-red hair and those emerald-green eyes make it easy to see why there was no bewitchment needed on Triss' part to get the witcher sprung. Yes, I said it. Sprung. You can see this easily just from reading the journal alone.

9 Miranda Lawson (Mass Effect 2)

Miranda Lawson from Mass Effect is a top lieutenant in Cerberus. While most female lieutenants are sort of scary, this is not the case with Miranda Lawson. She was designed to be an example of what is thought to be the "perfect" woman. She was made up of her father's basic genes, but she was given various physical genes from women whose traits were seriously hot. She came to us in Mass Effect 2, and we have been in love ever since. Oh, and she's got some great combat and leadership skills too.

Miranda's father made her this way to use her for his personal gain; thus, making her feel wanted for the wrong reasons. This didn't diminish her role as the perfect sidekick in Mass Effect 2. So, what does the "perfect" woman look like? This cosplayer has done an excellent job of showing us, even if in reality, there is no example of the "perfect" woman. Hannuki's cosplay of Miranda Lawson is about as close to perfect as anyone can get.

8 Bayonetta (Bayonetta)

Bayonetta. She goes into action making you feel like you're playing Devil May Cry, but she's not Dante. She's Bayonetta, from the self-titled video game Bayonetta. Instead of devils and demons, you get this kick-a*s witch fighting off angels. She looked strange at first, but the twitchy way that she walked with those curves made her difficult to ignore. Her combat skills were priceless; the spells she cast were intense; and she could shoot out of her stilettos. If you wanted fast-paced burnin' hot action, then Bayonetta quickly became your girl.

Now, they're saying that they might want to give Bayonetta 3 a male protagonist? How would any of that work on a male character? Let's not forget her magically woven hair. The hair that wraps and combines as her clothes, which in turn swirls off her body at the call of a spell. Come on. That's some seriously hot stuff. Not the kind of stuff meant for a male protagonist. It's the magic that only a female character such as Bayonetta can bring to the table. By the way, Traumatic Candy has done an excellent job on her rendition of her.

7 Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy)

Final Fantasy is on its 15th installment, and it's still going strong. One thing that has drawn you back are the relationships that you build with its characters. Tifa Lockhart is one of those characters. She first appeared in Final Fantasy VII as a bartender and love interest of Cloud Strife, who was a main character. They grew up admiring each other from afar, despite being next-door neighbors. Cloud always felt a responsibility to take care of Tifa, and he wanted to be able to prove himself. Their paths cross several times over many years before they ended up together.

Tifa Lockhart's character is one of the most commonly cosplayed characters from the Final Fantasy video game installments. She is seriously hot and has a great back story. Aside from that, she is also a playable character. She's got the ability to serve you a drink or some martial arts moves if you cross her the wrong way. Liz Katz did an awesome job with her cosplay of Tifa.

6 Sonja Blade & Mileena (Mortal Kombat)

People have been kicking a*ses on Mortal Kombat since 1992. It's a game that we just can't get enough of! There's a great story line, and all you've got to do is fight. Then, there are the seriously hot video game characters. I'm not talking about the over-masculinized ones like Sheeva or the crazy-looking ones like Sindel. Those are great to win a fight with, but Sonja Blade and Mileena are the perfect mix of hot-meets-hard. There are other sexy characters in Mortal Kombat too, but they weren't in the cosplay.

Aside from that, you've got everything that gamers crave—blood, gore, and hardcore action. Let's not get started on finishing moves with bones breaking and blood flying. As for this smokin' hot cosplay, it's magnificent. The cosplay itself was done by Evgeniya Rukavitsina and Alyona Polurotova. They certainly brought these sexy, but lethal, women to life for us!

5 Mara Sov - Queen Of The Reef (Destiny)

This cosplayer appears to be having a blast as Mara Sov from the latest video game craze, Destiny. She is/was the Queen of the Awoken who resides in the reef. Queen Mara should be easily recognized, seeing as how Destiny has been the top-selling video game for the past couple of years. She was supposedly killed in an explosion at the end of the first game, but we're hanging on to some hope that she'll pop up alive in Destiny 2.

Queen Mara formed an allegiance with the Fallen House of Wolves. She showed them mercy, giving them refuge in the reef. This was after an attack, in which she defeated their Kell. She is the hottest character available from Destiny to be cosplayed. Besides, what better way to spend a day than as Queen of the Awoken? It sure looks as though the cosplayer, Allie Rose Marie, agrees. So, guardians, do you believe the queen lives or is she long gone with the ship?

4 Mad Moxxi (Borderlands)

Hey look! It's a cosplayer known as Kay Bear cosplaying as your favorite Borderlandbar owner, Mad Moxxi. Kay Bear sounds like a sweet name for such a toxic but alluring cosplay. Moxxi isn't your average bar owner as you can see above. She's unique, hot, and seductive. She's also a bit of a sl*t. Forgive my language, but I only speak the truth. If you play Borderlands, then you understand where I'm coming from. Moxxi has had a few husbands and several male conquests. If given a shot, she'll attempt to weasel your trousers or skirts off too.

Moxxi isn't a playable character, but she does assign you your missions, and in Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot, she hosts the colosseum matches at The Underdome. Modesty has never been her forte, but she's fluent when it comes to narcissism, along with danger. This is somewhat intriguing for us. As is the case with most of the female video game characters that we love. Anyways, Kay Bear looks every bit of what Moxxi should be like were she to come to life.

3 Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)

Lara Croft has been invading our dreams for years now. You don't have to be a gamer to know who she is. The Tomb Raider movie franchise proved to be a big box office hit, making Lara Croft the winner of several things; including a spot in The Guinness Book of World Records for being one of the most recognizable video game protagonists in existence. The film series was also a big start for Angelina Jolie, whose sexiness captivated us all in her role as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies.

Eve Beauregard is one of the hottest cosplayers to make it into more of a profession. She loves cosplaying as strong female cosplayers; sort of like her bad-a*s rendition of Lara Croft. Just in case you missed both the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider games and the films, Lara is like the female version of Indiana Jones. Only, Lara's got him beaten. Aside from being action-crazy, she's also seriously hot.

2 Abigail "Misty" Briarton (Black Ops 2)

The legacy of Call of Duty. Is it even possible not to have at least heard of Call of Duty or Call of Duty: Black Ops? First off, Call of Duty is a first-person shooter game that puts you in an infantry and combined-arms warfare setting. It's also one of the first games to combine your playing experience with several other players around the globe. If you have a video game headset, then this was probably the first game you actually needed it for.

Meet Abigail Briarton, best known by her middle name, Misty. This sexy version of her has been cosplayed by SSSniperWolf. Misty is from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 video game in the series. She is a playable character in Zombies mode. Misty doesn't appear to mind getting zombie gore on her flesh. She wears a plaid button-down shirt (open and tied) over a black bra (down and dirty, yet flattering). Misty is seriously hot, distracting, and dangerous. She has a gun; and yes, this little lady can shoot.

1 Vault Dweller (Fallout 4)

The idea of Fallout is that you have survived a nuclear war called The Great War. You survived by staying in an underground vault set up by the government, but you must fight to survive the apocalyptic world that follows. A Vault Dweller is the category that your created character falls under in the Fallout series of video games. You can choose to be a male or female character. In Fallout 4, specifically, you have just lost your spouse and you must rescue your kidnapped son.

When all else fails in finding a specific video game character to cosplay, you could always take a few notes from Galina Zhukovskaya. The cosplay that you see above is similar to what your own character would look like. Only, she chose to take a pin-up poster girl approach with her cosplay of a Vault Dweller from Fallout 4. You can't really do things up real sexy for some video games without putting your own spin on it. Let's just say that Galina has made herself into one seriously hot Vault Dweller!
