She's definitely transforming and maturing as a person, and now she's very focused on her family and being a great mother for her children. She recently announced that she wouldn't be carrying her latest children, and any children she will have in the future will be delivered via a surrogate. But that doesn't change the fact that she's a very experienced mother, and she's capable of giving out some very wise and important pregnancy tips. Say what you will about Kim Kardashian, but she seems to be a thoughtful and conscientious mother to her kids. Her knowledge extends to a variety of different issues that pregnant women and mothers face.

Some of the top celebrities gush about just how helpful Kim Kardashian is when it comes to giving pregnancy advice. And going forward, the newly pregnant member of Kim Kardashian's close family will no doubt benefit from her amazing and deep knowledge of pregnancy and being a mom. In fact, her two sisters Khloe and Kourtney are just as experienced as she in this area. Their tips and tricks range from health advice, pregnancy exercises, and of course fashion tips. And through it all, Kim Kardashian remains one of the hottest mom celebs today. Do you want to be a mom just like any of the Kardashian sisters? Here are some tips that will help any soon-to-be mothers.

You Can't Work Out As Hard

Kim Kardashian was praised throughout her numerous pregnancies because she always managed to stay in amazing shape. Sure, she's a slightly more curvy girl, but she's always managed to bounce back and retain her amazing body. As any woman will tell you, keeping a nice body after pregnancy is a challenge, but there are some very good ways to bounce back. Kim hires a professional trainer that specializes in pregnancy workouts.

When Khloe Kardashian announced that she was pregnant, Kim was very helpful in giving her many tips and directions on the best way to work out. Of course, Kourtney Kardashian is also no stranger to pregnancy, so she was able to offer her advice too. But Kim offered some very wise advice in particular, and it's alleged that she told her sister Khloe not to work out too hard, and not to push herself too hard, as this can be dangerous.

Listen To Your Doctors

Sometimes, the most important and helpful advice you can give to a pregnant woman is to listen to someone else's advice. After all, we've all got our own wive's tales and tips that we think are correct, but the only person who is actually qualified to make recommendations is a doctor. Kim listened to her doctor and was really vocal about how this advice definitely felt like the right thing to do. And if you're in her position, you should definitely listen to your doctors before anyone else.

Talking about a recent decision she faced, Kim admitted: "[W]hen I wanted to have a third baby, doctors said that it wasn't safe for my — or the baby's — health to carry on my own. Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye's. Having a gestational carrier is definitely different, but anyone who says or thinks it's the easy way out is completely wrong."

Get A Surrogate Mother Or A Gestational Carrier

You've probably heard the news; Kim chose not to carry her own children this time around, and chose instead to use a surrogate, also known as a gestational carrier. This might not be within everyone's budget (gestational carriers cost a pretty penny), but for many it can seem like the right choice. While Kim isn't recommending that every mom do it this way, she is leading by example when she does it, and if you're in her boat, you might consider it.

Speaking about the matter, Kim said, "People assume it’s better because you don’t have to deal with the physical changes, pain or complications with delivery, but for me it was so hard to not carry my own child, especially after I carried North and Saint. Our gestational carrier gave us the greatest gift one could give. The connection with our baby came instantly, and it's as if she was with us the whole time."

Wear Tight, Bright Maxi Dresses

Kim might not be qualified to make medical recommendations when it comes to pregnancy, but she's definitely qualified to give out fashion tips. Throughout her career in the entertainment spotlight, Kim has always been the subject of much discussion, particularly when it comes to her fashion sense. And when she started showing signs of pregnancy with her baby bump, her sense of style never faltered. But how do you pull off the pregnant look like Kim?

First of all, you need to look at the kinds of clothes Kim wore while pregnant. And above all others, there was one article of clothing that the reality TV star seemed to favor above all others – the maxi dress. Not just any maxi dress, but bright, tight, and classy ones. This was definitely Kim's go-to outfit during her pregnancy, and you can't argue with the results. She looked incredible, and this is one style tip that all pregnant women should be picking up on.

Wear Pregnancy Undergarments

Kim might have some fashionable choices when it comes to her style on the streets, but what does she recommend for just lounging around the house when you can't be bothered to dress up? Well, according to her, she's a huge fan of pregnancy Spanx. She admits that she wore this go-to item throughout her pregnancy:

"Earlier today, I was wearing these pregnancy Spanx. And they were newer, so they weren't really the color tone of what I used to wear, and so you totally saw through, and I was just like, 'I'm more comfortable in that and it's just going to be one of those days' — I wasn't feeling good. Sometimes I wear two pairs [of Spanx] under something or stockings. It holds you in. And when you go on all these hormones and stuff, before I felt [like] I was trying everything, so I was getting bigger and bigger and I was like, 'No, I'm not pregnant yet, I need to be skinny.' So, I was definitely insecure."

Wear Longer Coats

You can't deny that Kim made pregnancy look incredible. But how did she do it? It seemed that whenever she stepped out in public, she was wearing something that really extenuated her curves, making her look stylish and seductive at the same time. And she was hardly repeating herself, either – she wasn't just relying on maxi dresses; she was using a whole range of different wardrobe items. But if you look closely, you can see a few patterns with her fashion decisions.

Each one of these outfits is completely different, but they all have something in common. Can you spot it? Yes, that's right, she's wearing a long coat in each and every picture. This was another one of Kim's go-to items when it came to her pregnancy, and it was an amazing choice. Kim knew that long coats helped disguise the baby bump, streamlining those curves and hiding all of the bits she might not be totally comfortable with.

When Working Out, Stay Hydrated And Make Sure Your Room Is Well-Ventilated

There's no doubt that Kim was extremely active throughout both of her pregnancies. But how did she know what kind of exercises to do? Well, she hired one of the best fitness trainers and an expert in pregnancy training, Harley Pasternak. This guy got her in great shape, and gave her some important tips. So when looking for pregnancy tips from Kim, sometimes it's better just to get the info straight from the source.

The fitness trainer hails the importance of staying hydrated and working out in a well-ventilated room, adding, "Kim was very active throughout the first pregnancy, and I think she'll be just as active through this one. With your first one, you deal with nausea and all sorts of stuff. I think she's been pretty good through this one. She knows what to expect. A lot of women, when they're pregnant for the first time, are scared to do anything, so now it's old habit for her. It's very important to be sure their heart rate doesn't get above 140 beats per minute. So, no hiking in Runyon Canyon or working outside in the backyard in Calabasas."

In The Second Trimester, Eliminate All Exercises Where You're Laying On Your Back

We've already mentioned that you shouldn't push yourself too hard during pregnancy workouts, but is there any point where you should stop working out altogether? Kim Kardashian is definitely a woman who worked out a lot throughout her pregnancies, but was that the right thing to do? As her fitness trainer explains, there's actually no problems with working out right up until you give birth. As he explains, the only problem is exercising on your back during the second trimester:

"The only point a woman should stop working out during their pregnancy is if their doctor tells them," concluded Harley. "I think Megan Fox worked out the day before she gave birth. We do everything you would do when they're not pregnant – except when we start the second trimester, we eliminate all exercises where they are lying on their back."

Walk At Least 10,000 Steps A Day

Some of Kim's most iconic pics have been of her walking down the street. She definitely knows how to look amazing when she's walking on the pavement, with or without her baby bump. There's always something to comment on, whether it's her style of dress, the people she's with, certain garments, or her interaction with the paparazzi. But as it turns out, walking is something that must have been really good for her during her pregnancy, and it was something that was recommended to her by her fitness trainer.

Her fitness trainer actually recommended she walk at least 10,000 steps, and clearly this must have had some serious benefits. Walking is often overlooked as a workout, but it's one of the best ways you can exercise, especially when you're pregnant and a little unwilling to go hard in the gym. Walking can even help trigger contractions, so there's a health benefit directly related to pregnancy as well.

Resistance Training Is Great

If walking just isn't enough of a workout for you, then you might consider doing the same kinds of workouts that Kim did throughout her pregnancies. Again, these were recommended to her by her fitness trainer, and you really can't argue with the results that Kim showed after bouncing back from her pregnancies. It won't be easy, but pregnancy in general never is. Walking just won't be enough to really have an effect on your body, so if you want to follow Kim's lead, there are a few important types of exercises that you should be doing.

According to Kim's personal fitness trainer, "Resistance exercise is important. We are doing lunges and hamstring curls for toning." That means that resistance training was their number one focus. If you want results like Kim, you need to try to do these exercises. Her fitness trainer, Harley Pasternak, actually has his own "5-Factor Fitness Plan," which is quite famous. This regime involves squats, side bends, and tons of exercises involving dumbbells.

Allow Your Child To Be Themselves

Kim is at a point now where it's clear that she's a veteran mom who definitely knows her stuff. After going through two pregnancies and learning the ropes of raising two kids, she's definitely in the position to give out advice. And that's exactly what she has done recently, most notably with pop star Ciara. When she announced that she was pregnant, there was tons of support from other celebrities, and Kim was one of the first to offer some guidance. And her top piece of advice? Just allow your child to be themselves!

Ciara spoke in an interview about the kind of advice she received from Kim, saying, “It’s a really hard world. If that’s what their heart yearns for, then I’m down. I believe in allowing your child to be who they want to be — as long as they want to be something great. You don’t know your child until they get here, you don’t know their personality. There is a lot of learning to do. I loved that advice."

Wear Peplum And Cinched Waists

Another style tip from Kim comes down to some very interesting details that we spotted on her various outfits during her two pregnancies. And as anyone with an ounce of fashion sense knows, it's all about the details. It's all about the details, and without them, outfits just seem to fall flat. To the uninitiated, a designer outfit looks exactly the same as one from Walmart... Until you look closely at all of the details. To appreciate Kim's pregnancy style, you have to look closely.

And after close examination, it's obvious that the reality TV star is reliant on two things: peplum and cinched waists. Both of these details can be found on various dresses and tops, but they both accomplish pretty much the same thing. They distract away from the waist, and extenuate the hourglass figure that Kim is so famous for. If you want to follow in Kim's footsteps, be sure to include these two details in your pregnancy outfits.

Embrace Your Pregnancy Curves

Kim is definitely one of the most experienced mothers in her family. There's also Kourtney, but aside from her, Kim has definitely reached veteran mom status. And as one of the family's matriarchs, she is now in a position to offer guidance not just to us common folk, but also people within her family. In fact, it's her sisters that undoubtedly get the best advice from Kim, as things uttered in private almost always have more meaning and are more intimate.

One of the newest Kardashian sisters to get pregnant is allegedly Kylie Jenner. This social media and reality TV star might actually be overtaking Kim in terms of popularity, but she still has a long way to go if she wants to match Kim's knowledge about being a mom. And Kim has allegedly been giving her sister some important advice: embrace your pregnancy curves! Kim is reportedly worried that Kylie is hiding away from the spotlight, afraid to leave her home because she's ashamed of how she looks when she's pregnant.

If You Can Get Away With It, Never Leave The House

But while Kim might be telling Kylie to get out of the house and show her face, she was singing a very different tune not too long ago when she was 33. When asked about her pregnancy advice in an interview, she told audiences that they should hide, never leave the house, and "wear a huge blanket." So is Kim being a bit of a hypocrite when she tells her sister Kylie to embrace those pregnancy curves? What probably happened is that Kim matured since then, and she sees Kylie in the same mindset that she was once in. And she's trying to convince her that it's not the right way of doing things.

The exact quote from Kim all those years ago is, "I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style. That’s what I recommend. If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house. That’s really my recommendation. Wear a huge blanket."

Focus On Spending Time With Your Family

Getting pregnant and having a baby is all about family. And for so many women, getting pregnant and having their first child was the deciding factor to remind them just how important family really is. And if there's one piece of advice from Kim that you should take away from this article, it's that family is very, very important. Kim herself tells her fans that it's really important to focus on spending as much time as possible with your family after having a child:

"You know, now that I'm married, I would so much rather spend time with my husband, my family and my baby than run around the world working for other people. It gets tough after you have a baby. There [have been] so many times when I just didn't want to get up and work on something. My mom kind of taught us girls we could have it all. You know, she works hard. She taught us that if you work hard, it's just all about prioritizing."
