15 Male Celebs Who Love Tall Women

In dating, there are tons of social norms that are common to see in a couple. For example -- the man is usually the protector, he is usually bigger in every way, and the women is relatively smaller. Despite the fact that that's a tad sexist, the world is pretty okay with it because that's just the way it's always been. Even in 2016, it's hard not to be thrown off by a woman who's bigger than her male counterpart.

Society has made it seem weird for men date women that are taller than them. In most cases, the man is at least an inch or two taller than his spouse. However, sometimes you'll see men with women that tower above them. As odd as it is to try and accept, a man dating a woman taller than him really isn't all that rare, especially in Hollywood, where models are tall and actors are short. Here are 15 male celebrities who have no problem dating taller women.

15 Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise

Even though the pair is no longer together, it's hard to avoid one of the most infamous couples in Hollywood history. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise had their relationship out on blast for years. Holmes is only two inches taller than Cruise - she stands at 5'9" and Cruise is at 5'7". Even though that doesn't seem to be that big of a difference, when the actress would wear heels, she would soar above her husband. Weirdly enough, Holmes had a huge crush on Cruise while she was growing up. He was famous while she was young, which is what sparked her crush in the first place. When Holmes grew up and started to give magazine interviews, she admitted that she had a crush on Cruise. In 2005, the pair met on the set of Mission: Impossible 3 and then shortly after that, they were together. All good things must come to an end, though. The pair ended up getting divorced, which didn't go unnoticed in the public at all, in June of 2012. Holmes and Cruise have a daughter named Suri together.

L'Wren Scott committed suicide in 2014, and after her death, many people mentioned that she was always made fun of for her height. When Scott committed suicide, she didn't even leave a note. This caused many people that were close to her to have some speculation about her death. Scott stood at 6'3", while Jagger is only 5'10". Bagley is a big time model - she is signed to Wilhemina Models in London, Ford Models in New York, and Vision Los Angeles. She has also appeared in Vogue Italia. Braff is most commonly known for his role on the hit television show, Scrubs. Zach Braff stands at 5'11" while his ex stands at 6'0". In 2015, Braff was spotted walking with a rumored new girlfriend who was indeed shorter than him. It appears that the Hollywood star is still single, though. Turner is the lead singer for the indie band Arctic Monkeys.

10 Erin Darke & Daniel Radcliffe

The name Erin Darke might not ring any bells for most people, but anybody who hasn't been living under a rock knows who Daniel Radcliffe is. Radcliffe is none other than the Harry Potter star - he's also appeared in many other movies and productions, but it's safe to say he'll always be Mr. Potter in the eyes of this generation. Radcliffe met Darke on the set of How To Kill Your Darlings, where they filmed an intimate scene together. Radcliffe opened up in a 2015 interview with Playboy about the two and said that there was hardly any acting happening in that scene, because there was real chemistry between the two of them. The pair isn't actually apart in height at all - they are both a petite 5'5". Considering Darke wears heels during events, though, it makes it seem as if Radcliffe pales in comparison to her.

Sadly enough, Aziz Ansari and his girlfriend of two years, Courtney McBroom, broke up in early 2016. McBroom isn't exactly in the Hollywood spotlight at all - she's a chef. Ansari is known for being a comedian and for his work on the television show Parks & Rec. McBroom and Ansari met at an event and literally bonded over cookies that were there. When they were still together, they would describe their relationship story as being very "sweet," due to the fact that they met over a dessert. As a couple, the two became known for throwing parties together. She controlled the food and he controlled the cocktails. After they broke up, there was no real reason that was revealed, but it's thought that Ansari's hectic work schedule could be to blame. Since McBroom isn't exactly "famous", her height isn't really known to the world - however in pictures, it's clear that she's at least a few inches taller than Ansari who is 5'6".

1 Chrissy Teigen & John Legend

One of social media's favorite stars, Chrissy Teigen and musician John Legend, met on the set of one of his music videos in 2007. Teigen has definitely become more famous after marrying Legend, but she has no problem holding her own in the public eye. She's known for her social media presence and for being one of the hosts of Lip Sync Battle, even though her main career is as a model and an author. After meeting, Teigen admitted to US Weekly that her and Legend hooked up, but right after he had to go on tour. Not wanting to push into anything, she kind of just let Legend be Legend without questioning what they were. Legend also admits that it wasn't love at first sight because he's "more cautious" than that. However, the couple married in 2013 even though they both never thought they were the traditional type. Given that Legend's hit song "All Of Me" is about Teigen, and that they now have a daughter together, it seems that the couple has fallen quite in love with each other. Teigen is a tad taller than Legend - she's 5'10" and he's 5'9".
