Age is elusive in everyday life, especially when women are concerned. For some reason, it is considered taboo to ask about their age. Your neighbor or co-worker may be way older than you, or much younger. You may never really know. Once you get to know that person, her true age is easier revealed, but for a long while, she won’t want to admit it.

Well, thanks to the internet, such secrets are no longer being kept, especially when celebrities are involved. We have never actually met any of these beautiful actresses, but we already feel like we know them after watching them on the Disney Channel and in Disney movies. We have researched their ages online and some of our findings were quite surprising.

So how do you compare to some of your favorite TV crushes? Would you have a chance with them? Or is your age so different that you wouldn’t have anything in common? The following list contains some of the hottest and most well-known actresses to ever appear in Disney productions. Sometimes their age may surprise you, while other times you’ll be surprised that they even starred in a Disney film to begin with.

Ashley Tisdale, 31

Here is a gorgeous Disney actress who we all recognize from the High School Musical trilogy, as well as The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Hellcats. Ashley always looks flawless with her pouty lips and beautiful blonde hair. But, did you know that Ashley is already over 30? The star is now 31 and will be 32 in July. She is older than both of her famous High School Musical co-stars, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. If you look at her resume, though, it’s obvious that she must be older because of all of the projects she’s done. The girl has had a productive career ever since she was little. She's even starred in a touring Broadway production of Les Misérables and another touring show of Annie. Perhaps her busy childhood is the reason her acting isn’t critically acclaimed. Many child stars run into the same problem. When you learn to act too young, it can stifle your development, and sometimes your appeal.

Hilary Duff, 29

Hilary Duff is looking hotter than ever. She just got divorced and has toned up her bod for revenge on her ex (i guess you could say that). Hilary has grown up before our eyes, starring on Lizzie McGuire. Maybe that’s why she seems younger. The Disney actress is actually 29, and will be 30 in September. I guess that makes sense, since she has been married, divorced, and has a son. But still, there’s something about the timelessness of media. Even if you search for images of the star today, you’ll find many coming up which were taken years ago. Hilary seems to be doing well for herself, though. The best-selling author, actress, and musician has spoken openly about dating and co-parenting after divorce. Again, those are some adult topics, but many of us still just look and see Lizzie.

Vanessa Hudgens, 28

Here’s another High School Musical alum who is always getting naked for the camera. You think she would have learned that her cellphone can be hacked after the first time. I’m guessing that she’s doing it on purpose, because she’s gorgeous and has nothing to hide. With Vanessa’s small round, nose, lips, and pert little cheeks, she still looks young enough to play a high school kid, but she’s actually 28 years old. She will be 29 in December. Twenty-eight is pretty old when you think about it. By that age, you’ve been out of college for some time, and hopefully have the job that you’ll keep for the majority of your life. Not so in Hollywood, however. These actresses are constantly jumping from one job to the next, never really knowing when the next project will come along. Thankfully, they make a ton of money, so they don’t have to worry too much.

Brenda Song, 29

Here’s one of the most underrated beauties in the Disney actress category. Brenda Song starred in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, as well as Disney films like Stuck in the Suburbs and Wendy Wu. That film also starred a young Taran Killam, that funny dude from SNL, and husband to How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders. Taran was recently released from SNL, but he hopped right back into the game with a part in the crazy-popular Broadway musical Hamilton. Brenda has not been as successful. She hasn’t done a movie in five years and her latest show, Pure Genius, a medical drama on CBS, was just cancelled. Did you know she was once engaged to Miley Cyrus’ brother Trace? I think she dodged a bullet there. The dude is a super tatted-up punk rocker and seems even more emotionally unstable than his sister. Brenda is looking better than ever now, and should have no prob getting better roles...or boyfriends. The actress and singer just turned 29 in March.

Hayden Panettiere, 27

Many of the actresses on this list have that young look that could land them high schooler roles until they’re 50. Sometimes, that’s not a good thing when you’re trying to be an accomplished actress. Hayden here definitely is in that ageless category. The woman is 27 and will be 28 in August. She still looks like 19, by the way. Many of you may not have realized that the actress starred in a Disney Channel movie called Tiger Cruise back in 2004. That was her first major lead role. This film also helped her dive into the realm of singing, which she still does, in the CMT drama Nashville. She’s released a number of records from the show. The highest of which, Telescope, reached up to number 33 on the country charts. Many fans still see her as Claire Bennet, the cheerleader in Heroes. The experienced actress has also had recurring roles in Guiding Light, Ally McBeal, and Malcolm in the Middle.

AJ Michalka, 26

AJ, aka Amanda, has an older sister named Aly, who is a bigger Disney star. However, AJ has done some Disney stuff too, including Cow Belles. Advanced Happy Birthday to AJ! She turns 26 on April 10th. Aly just turned 28, but we put AJ on here simply because she is still playing a high school character on The Goldbergs. Have you seen this show? It is one of the funniest sitcoms on television right now. AJ plays Lainey, the girlfriend of Barry. Barry is hilarious! He’s played by actor Troy Gentile, who is 23 years old. The guy is a real awkward goofball to whom we all can relate. He must have been totally stoked when he found out hot AJ was going to play his girlfriend. It’s one of those ‘she’s way too hot for him’ type of pairings that we all wish we had back in high school.

Adrienne Bailon, 33

By far the hottest of all the Cheetah Girls, it is amazing that Bailon is 33 years old. She looks more like 23, right? Even when she leaves little to the imagination on the red carpet, there aren’t any flaws that would expose her true number of years. Adrienne has recently been getting busy in her personal life, with a marriage last year and pregnancy rumors ever since. Her husband is Christian rocker and music producer, Israel Houghton. Here’s how Adrienne describes her religious beliefs, “Everyone sins in their own different ways. Never judge one person’s sins to be greater and lesser than your own. One thing I’m so grateful for was my foundation in faith. It kept me away from a lot of things like drugs that I never had an interest. I always had my faith in God. My relationship with God helped me to get along not to get caught up in those things.”

Emma Watson, 27

Here’s an actress who just recently joined the Disney club with the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. Have you seen the film yet? Oh, come on, you can admit it. Most guys would normally scoff at watching such a dumb movie, but when your girl is SO into it, you just have to go along. And it’s not as bad as you thought it was going to be. Just go in there with the absolute lowest expectations, and you won’t be disappointed. Plus, you can look forward to seeing Emma on the big screen looking more beautiful than ever. Happy Birthday, Em! She turns 27 on April 15th. She’s just as pretty as can be and doesn’t look a day over 20. She was the youngest in her Harry Potter Trio. Ron was the eldest by a couple years, and Harry was in the middle.

Lindsay Lohan, 30

This entry is going to make you feel old, especially if you remember when Little Lohan came on the scene with a pretty decent Disney remake called The Parent Trap. Well, that cute little girl is now 30 years old, and will be 31 this August. Of course, we’ve all heard about the colossal downfall of Lohan. In fact, some of you may totally disagree with her appearance on this list. Some may say that she looks like she’s 50 and that 30 seems low. It’s true that the years have not been kind to poor LiLo, but on the other hand, doesn’t it seem like Mean Girls was just a couple years ago? We feel bad for Lohan, because she did look great at one point. And 30 is a pretty big number, especially in Hollywood. So her chances to make a comeback are less likely than ever. She still has a chance though, we’ll see. Sometimes, there are still flashes of her brilliant past.

Kat Dennings, 30

Many people didn’t know that Kat Dennings was in a Disney Channel movie called The Scream Team. She also appeared on The 40 Year Old Virgin when she was pretty young. What’s hard to believe though is that the woman is 30, turning 31 soon, in June. Age is so subjective. Each person has their own opinion. Some may disagree and think that Kat looks older, due to her large breasts. What? Does a larger bust make you look older? Most definitely. But if you look past that, which is difficult, Kat’s facial features are very round and youthful. Kat has made a name for herself on the raunchy comedy Two Broke Girls. She makes a ton of jokes about her boobs, or how much larger hers are compared to co-star, Beth Behrs. If there’s a low-brow joke to be made, then this show is the one that will make it. 2 Broke Girls show is quite the opposite of her Disney roots.

Kaley Cuoco, 31

Kaley Cuoco is another actress that many people didn’t know was a Disney star. Cuoco starred in Alley Cats Strike. The film is about a group of friends who get involved in competitive bowling. The funny thing is, the film is from 2000, but Kaley’s face looks almost identical. The woman will not age. It’s like she drank from the fountain of youth. Of course, her body looks rather youthful too...which helps. Her breasts are an admitted surgical addition, but the rest is nothing but sweat. Kaley is constantly snapped by the paparazzi going to and from the gym. She doesn’t mind teasing them with some of the skimpiest exercise clothing on the market. Did you hear? The Big Bang Theory was just renewed for TWO more seasons on CBS. Will this show ever end? None of its stars have found success outside of the show, and maybe they never will after such a long run.

Keri Russell, 41

Keri Russell starred on that same famous cast of Mickey Mouse Club as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. The thing is, while those other stars are in their mid-thirties, Keri comes in at a senior as she's already 41, just eclipsing 40 last month. This girl is about as ageless as it gets! Have you seen Britney or Christina lately? They are not looking half as good as Keri. Keri also starred in a classic Disney film trilogy, Honey I Blew Up the Baby. That’s when she was still sporting that curly hair that made her famous on the WB show Felicity. That show had some big names connected to it, including creator JJ Abrams and producer Ron Howard. Keri won a Golden Globe for her lead role and was recently nominated for another globe on her current show The Americans.

Emmy Rossum, 30

Emmy Rossum is 30? Yes, she is. And she turns 31 in September. The truth is the girl doesn’t look a day over 22. She has a youthful look in her eyes, and as any Shameless fans will tell you, a body that is lights-out. But did you know this girl can sing? Like, not just purring like a kitten, a la Britney Spears, but really sing. She was admitted to the Metropolitan Opera Children's Chorus as a child, and sang with opera legend Luciano Pavarotti. The girl sang in 6 languages and knew 20 operas. She used her classic skills in the film version of Phantom of the Opera in 2004. How did such a classically-trained artist end up being cast as such a piece of trash as Shameless? I guess she can do anything. And maybe the secret is that she enjoys what she’s doing. She’s actually one of those actresses that like to get naked on set. Oh, and she also appeared in the Disney Channel film Genius.

Amy Jo Johnson, 46

Amy Jo Johnson is best known for her role as Kimberly Hart, the original pink Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. That beautiful young angel in a leotard is now 46 years old...to be 47 this October. Forty-seven is seriously old. That’s damned near 50, you guys. And we used to watch her kick butts on TV. If that doesn’t make you feel old, I don’t know what will. Amy Jo is still looking pretty good, but her Disney days were a long, long time ago. Back in 1996, she starred in Suzie Q, as the lead for the Disney Channel Movie. This film was nuts. It was about a girl who gets killed in the 1950's on the way to a high school dance. Then 40 years later, she shows up again to haunt/help her parents and prevent them from being evicted. After learning the ropes on Power Rangers and Suzie Q, it seems like Amy Jo decided to start reading scripts before signing on, and followed up with critically-acclaimed stuff like Felicity.

Raven-Symoné, 31

We all know this actress from the Cheetah Girls and especially the Disney Classic, That’s So Raven. Many of us even remember Raven from her role on The Cosby Show, when her cuteness alone allowed the tired sitcom to survive a few more seasons. She also appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Hanging with Mr Cooper. It’s hard to believe that little girl is 31, and will be 32 in December. Raven has had one of the busiest and most successful life-long careers on television, and she’ll soon return to one of her favorite roles. Raven’s House, a belated spin-off of That’s So Raven, was just green-lit for production. The new Disney Channel show is expected to premiere later on this year.
