Relationships can be both difficult and very rewarding. For some couples it takes love, compassion and patience to make the relationship work. It can be both easy and difficult at the same time. Often, when a celebrity marries a non-celebrity it will turn them into international stars overnight. In this case, Tameka Foster wasn’t a well known celebrity but worked with several of the biggest celebrities in the world. Usher and Tameka Foster were married in 2007 but the relationship crumbled under the strain from fame. Usher is a musician and has won 8 Grammy Awards throughout his career. He also dated several beautiful women, including Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Naomi Campbell. He released several critically and commercially acclaimed albums, such as 8701, Confessions and Here I Stand.

Tameka Foster is a personal stylist and has worked with several major artists, such as Jay-Z, Patti LabelleLauryn Hill and Nas. Usher and Tameka have two children together, however in 2009 Usher filed for divorce. Foster claims that Usher’s management team wanted him to appear as single, which caused a great strain on the relationship. Usher and Tameka's relationship couldn't last under the intense spotlight.

Kelsey and Camille met in 1996 and married in a lavish wedding a year later in 1997. They have two children together born by using a surrogate mother. In 2010, Camille filled for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized a year later in 2011.

Linda and Hulk Hogan married in 198os but it wouldn’t be until many years later that the fame and success would cause a strain on the relationship. Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling. He had his biggest success in the 80s and 90s. He worked for both WWE and WCW. He also appeared in several films, such as Rocky III, No Holds Barred and Santa With Muscles. Hulk and Linda married in 1983 and their wedding was attended by several wrestlers and personalities, including Andre The Giant and Vince McMahon. Hulk, Linda and their two children, Brooke and Nick, starred in the reality series Hogan Knows Best. In 2007, it was revealed that Hulk had an affair with a 33-year-old woman who helped Brooke with her album. However, Hulk claims that he never cheated on Linda. The separation and media attention took a toll on Hulk who claims he contemplated suicide. Linda filed for divorce in November of 2007, and it was finalized later in 2008.

Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker was an on-again, off-again couple whose relationship buckled under the pressure from fame, money and the harsh media spotlight. It all started like a fairytale, Travis Barker proposed to Shanna in the entrance of the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland. Kris Humphries is an NBA player who plays for the Atlanta Hawks and also played for the Utah Jazz, New Jersey Nets and Toronto Raptors. Jon and Kate Gosselin weren’t rock stars or movie stars that met early in their careers and ended up in a rough relationship. Kris Jenner truly rose to fame for her role on the reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Prior to this she wasn’t really that much of a celebrity. However, both Caitlyn and Kris would become even more widely known for their roles in the series. It appears their marriage suffered from the constant media attention and speculation regarding the family. In 2014, Kris Jenner filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences with the divorce finalizing in 2015.

Kirsten Stewart and Robert Pattinson were one of the most talked about couples. Rumors first began to circulate that the two Twilight stars were romantically involved, which was the dream of just about every Twilight fan. However, if being together generated so much media attention then their break-up drew even more discussion and attention. Both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison became international stars for their roles in the Twilight films.
