15George Clooney – ER
George Clooney might be known now as the Oscar-winning star of Syriana, and for hit movies like Gravity, Ocean’s Eleven, From Dusk Till Dawn, and O Brother, Where Art Though, but many people don't know that his acting career actually started with small television roles in 1978. He
was able to gain some recognition when he landed the role of Dr. Doug Ross on the medical drama ER in 1994. What many don’t know is that one of his early roles in the 1980s was a recurring role on the original television sitcom ER in 1984, in which he played Ace. That series only lasted for eight episodes. Clooney hasn’t forgotten where he got his start as he agreed to return with the entire original cast for episodes of the fifteenth and final season of the second series in 2009. He’s also reprised his ER role in a special appearance for a skit on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.
