In the immortal words of Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise mankind must boldly go where no man has gone before. Despite inhabiting this world for millions of years mankind as we know it has only existed for about 200,000 meaning we still have plenty to discover. While space may be the final frontier we have a long way to go discovering the mysteries of our own planet. Humankind has made its mark, but there are still areas left untouched and we’re finding more and more every year. Underground caves, dense forests and even places we know exist, but have never fully explored. Everyday humankind is organizing expeditions into the unknown to better understand our world.
