Shady Ways People Pay For Plastic Surgery

Thanks to social media and celebrities, the plastic surgery industry is booming. Since it is in such high demand, surgeons can get away with charging top dollar for procedures. But, with a little innovation and sneaky work, these people were able to scam their way to the operating table. These are ten shady ways people pay for their plastic surgery.

Every year, millions of people apply for student loans in the hopes of investing in their future. While most people use their loans for books and tuition fees, a couple of women in this video used it to fund their plastic surgery. One woman even convinced her school to give her a second chance, only to do the same thing the following year.

Financial institutions aren’t the only ones getting scammed by plastic surgery hungry people. In 2013, a Canadian woman stole the identity of an 83-year-old man. She claimed he was her grandfather, and with his ID, she was able to get a loan to pay for her cosmetic operations.

Interestingly, you don’t have to always scam people to get plastic surgery; you could just hop from country to country. One man, who is known as the Human Ken Doll, did just that. He flew all the way to India in hopes of finding someone to perform a controversial surgery on his eyes. Sadly, he came up empty-handed.
