If you watch those celeb television shows, read the tabloid magazines and search out online gossip sites then you know celebrity life can seem pretty good – especially with all the money. But as the old saying goes, ‘mo’ money, mo’ problems.’ These following rich individuals found out that being rich didn’t mean things couldn’t go really bad. In fact, they all ended up homeless during at least one point in their lives.

We’ll start with child star Danny Bonaduce who made his name on TV only to end up battling addiction and homelessness. Once a prominent television star herself, Brett Butler battled substance abuse and ended up in a shelter. Thanks to his success in the 90s, we all know Randy Quaid. But do you know just how bad things got for Cousin Eddie? Away from the big and small screens there’s former NBAer Ray Williams who went from sports glory to living on the street. Back in the realm of child actors, Bobby Driscoll made his name in the 40s, 50s and 60s. Then he lost it all and ended up homeless. If you followed boxing in the 80s and 90s then you know the name Iran Barkley. Incredibly, his story shows how a world-famous champ can end up with nothing. Back on the big screen, Natasha Lyonne is best known for her roles in American Pie and Orange is the New Black. What isn’t often known is that she was homeless for a time. Throughout the 70s and 80s, everyone knew who Willie Aames was. Even this successful star spent some time homeless and battling addiction. Rocky Lockridge was another champion boxer who shockingly lost it all and ended up with nothing. Finally, we’ll tell you about Margot Kidder. Famous for her character Lois Lane, Kidder shocked everyone when she was found living in the bushes in California.
