10 Struggles Only GUYS Will Understand

Yes, being born a man comes with its perks, but that doesn’t mean it’s all pizza and sunshine! There are many things that guys have to deal with, that women will never understand! From making sure they are following urinal protocol to dealing with hair popping up in unusual places, these are 10 struggles only guys will understand!

One of the most obvious things about puberty when you are a guy is watching all the hair come from out of nowhere. There is suddenly hair on their face, chest, stomach, armpits, and growing out of their nose. Then there is the inner struggle with whether to shave their hair or not. Is their facial hair even enough to be considered a mustache or a beard, or should they just shave it all off and cut their losses?

So when guys think they have the hair department covered, all of a sudden it starts going away where they want it most! Their body starts to be covered with hair, but their head is not so lucky. For some reason there is a big stigma with guys and their hairlines. And, no one knows that more than a guy whose hairline is starting to recede. They too must now go through the “Should I keep what I have left, or shave it all off?” hair struggle.

Once a guy has decided that they don’t want their facial hair anymore, they have to shave! Now, women have to struggle with shaving their legs, but shaving your face is a whole other ball game. When women shave and cut themselves, they can cover their battle scars with their pants. But, when a guy has a nick or a cut, they must wear it for everyone to see. Not only do guys have to remember to take the toilet paper that is clotting the wound off their face, but also they have to deal with stupid comments from people calling them out.

Yes, the fact that guys have to worry each time they go to the restroom in public is certainly a struggle. They have to make sure they don’t look at the other guy, but at the same time are comfortable enough with their manhood to seem like they don’t care. Guys actually have their own rules for when they use urinals. One of the most important rules is to not make small talk with strangers. Not only does it make everyone uncomfortable, but also guys aren’t going to the restroom to make chitchat or new friends!

There are many ways a guy can accidentally seem creepy to women. But, there is one that they are completely aware of, and aren’t sure of how to deal with. When a girl is walking alone at night, and a guy is walking behind them, they are aware the girl might be afraid. There isn’t much they can do in this situation to not seem like a predator. It’s not like they can just tell a girl, “Hi! I promise I’m a nice guy!” and not seem like a weirdo. Girls are always on high alert when alone in the dark, but that doesn’t mean guys aren’t as well!

Of course this is the most universal struggle with every guy in the world. Getting hit down there is the most painful thing that only guys will understand. It can happen in as quickly as a second, but the pain lasts for a few minutes. Not only do guys go through excruciating pain when hit down there, but if something traumatic happens, they could lose the ability to have children!
