10 Most Dangerous Beaches In The World

If you are like most of the world, you like to spend your summer vacation on a beautiful beach soaking up the sun. Most of the time this is a fantastic idea. But thanks to the destinations on this list, it can be the complete opposite. These are ten most dangerous beaches in the world.

One of the beaches to make this list is Maho Beach in St. Maarten. The beach is a popular attraction on the island, thanks to the neighboring airport. While the planes put on quite a show for the beach goers, their close proximity can be hazardous. Sadly, that doesn’t keep tourists from lining up to take a glimpse.

Another beach on here for an entirely different reason is Cape Tribulation in Australia. While many aspects of the Cape should keep you away, like crocodiles and stinging trees, one of the main ones is the beach. The box jellyfish are so bad that the water is off limits during high season.

If jellyfish don’t keep you out of the water, maybe sharks will. New Smyrna Beach in Florida is known as the shark attack capital of the world. Since 1882, there have been over 230 recorded incidents and counting. Thankfully, none have been fatal, but that doesn’t mean you should trek into these shark infested waters.
