Whether it’s writing lines, detention, suspension or extra homework, punishments at school are never enjoyable. And while most schools no longer employ corporal punishment as a form of discipline in classrooms, that doesn’t stop others from coming up with new ways to discourage poor behavior. Public humiliation seems to be one of the new forms of punishment by teachers, but it’s not the only way.
While school punishment may have come a long way from whacks with a wooden ruler, some schools have come up with some pretty severe punishments.
