Marriott Offers Free Night's Stay For New Members

It seems everyone has a rewards program these days, which is great for consumers. Marriott is one of the few hotel chains that not only has an excellent program for its existing customers, but also for new members.

Instead of offering a certain amount of points when you sign up to be a Marriott Rewards Member, the famous hotel chain is going one step further. New rewards members will receive one free night's stay at any Marriott. There is one caveat to the deal, however. New members must stay at least two nights at any participating Marriott property between now and November 28, 2018, to earn the free stay.

Once you have completed the two-night requirement, the free night certificate will be added to your member account. It is good for one night at any quality 1-5 Marriott meaning if you always wanted one night in a super fancy luxury hotel, this could be your chance. But you will need to research the categories more specifically before choosing your free night destination.

There is a special link on Marriott's website that needs to be used to receive the promotional offer. The website makes signing up super easy and will take you less than five minutes. Again this is for new members only if you are already a Marriott's rewards member sorry, but you do not qualify. But perhaps you could convince a friend or family member to enroll and take you on the free night stay.

The new member free night promotion begins right before Marriott launches its official single loyalty program. In 2016 the company took over Starwood Hotels. Now they are merging Marriott Rewards, Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Rewards into one loyalty program to be used at all properties. There will be different levels based on how frequently one stays at these properties.

If you are not currently a member of Marriott's rewards program, this is the perfect time to sign up. A free night incentive is not too shabby and what do you have to lose? Nothing. Even if you don't stay in a hotel very often here is one more reason to take a vacation or even a quick weekend getaway.
