A new trend among celebrities is the refusal to give their kids Christmas presents because they want to teach their children to be grateful for what they have, so they won't turn into spoiled brats. However, not every celebrity is catching on to the trend. Not every celebrity has millions of dollars but the ones who do generally like to buy things--a lot of things.

When money is no option, you can buy some pretty ridiculous and expensive things. If you've got millions in the bank, you may eventually run out of things to spend it on. This means that you have to start buying totally impractical luxuries for your children such as diamond-encrusted rattles, mini Ferraris, or renting out the entire ice rink at Rockefeller Center (yes, one A-lister actually did this).

While most kids would be more than happy with an iPad or a Playstation 4 for their birthday, these celebs expect a lot more from than parents--most of them probably have at least three or four iPads anyway. These spoiled rotten celeb progenies are given millions of dollars worth of gifts such as sports cars, diamonds, mansions, and even entire islands!

You'll be surprised at how many celebrity kids have received diamond-encrusted luxury items even though they have no concept of what a diamond is or how much it is worth. These celebs are all about status and frivolity and they seem to be competing with each other to make their kid the most spoiled kid in Hollywood.

Her First Car Cost Over $200k

Kylie Jenner may have just had a baby but, just a few years ago, she was just a baby herself. It's hard to believe that her 16th birthday was only four years ago!

On her 16th birthday, she was gifted her very own car--but not just any car. Kris Jenner gave her famous daughter a brand new 2015 Mercedes Benz G-Wagon with custom red interior, Designo leather seats, a black piano lacquer steering wheel, and velvet exterior installed.

Just a few years later with only 4,616 miles on it, Kylie sold the SUV and though we don't know how much she sold it for, we do know that the asking price was $145,000. When it was originally purchased, it was said to cost $225,000.

In 2016, she stopped driving her Wagon when her ex-boyfriend Tyga bought her a Mercedes-Maybach that was worth about $190,000. She has also has owned a Land Rover SV Autobiography Edition worth $200,000, a Ferrari Spider worth $275,000, and a Lamborghini Aventador roadster worth $400,000.

Kendall Prefers Old Cars To New Cars

Speaking of spoiled Jenner children, Kendall Jenner has also received some luxurious cars over the years. On her 21st birthday she was given a $250,000 Rolls-Royce with a giant orange bow on top by her mother. As a 21st birthday gift to herself, it appears that she treated herself to some lip fillers and she is looking much more like her famous full-lipped sisters.

While a Rolls-Royce is a very generous gift, Kendall appears to be more interested in older cars rather than newer ones. In addition to her brand new Rolls-Royce, she owns a 1965 Mustang and 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible.

According to the model, she not only loves old cars, she's actually addicted to them: "Some people get addicted to tattoos, I’m addicted to cars." When you have millions of dollars in the bank, an addiction to expensive cars is pretty normal.

Valentina Paloma Pinault is the 10-year-old daughter of Salma Hayek and billionaire François-Henri Pinault and she is worth $12 million. Pinault is the CEO of Kering (the international luxury group which owns Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen) and he is worth $23.9 billion. When you've got that kind of dough, you can't just buy your kid a few Barbies.

It's rumored that Hayek and Pinault bought Valentina her very own mansion for her birthday! Hayek actually said in an interview that not only does she believe in spoiling her daughter but that it would be ridiculous not to.

"I never understood the point of being privileged if you don’t get to have the privileges," she said. "I think it’s important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it’s great that my daughter gets to travel the world.” One thing Hayek may not understand is that it's hard to raise responsible kids if they're not given any responsibilities.

Diamonds Are Not A Kid's Best Friend

Mariah Carey has a lavish lifestyle and it's no surprise that her children enjoy the same luxuries that she does. When Mariah and Nick Cannon's twins, Monroe and Moroccan, were born, they were gifted diamond-encrusted diaper pins from their mother which may be the most ridiculous thing that anyone has spent money on.

According to a source, the famous couple "wanted her first birthday to set the tone for the rest of her life." Considering the rest of her life is going to be full of diamonds, crystal covered bathtubs, and lots and lots of money, it's fair to say that her first birthday definitely set the tone.

Forget mansions and crystal bathtubs--Tyrese Gibson actually gave his daughter an entire island! Tyrese recently claimed that he was trying to keep his family afloat during a messy custody battle and that Will Smith gave him $5 million. We don't know if this is true but he might need a couple million dollars after blowing all of it on an island.

The Fast and Furious star announced that he gave his daughter, Shayla, an island and named it Love Island but did not say how much he spent on it or where it was. He could be being secretive about it because he doesn't actually own an island or it could be because he doesn't want a bunch of tourists showing to Love Island. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt. When it comes to gifts, a private island is the height of luxury.

Considering that Miley Cyrus single-handedly made her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, relevant again, it's only fair that he buy his daughter some nice birthday presents. One such present was a $24,000 three-wheeler Cam-Am Spyder motorcycle customized specifically for the "Wrecking Ball" singer with her name engraved onto it in gold lettering. Most parents beg their children not to ride a motorcycle so it's pretty shocking that Billy Ray would actually give one to Miley!

The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer said that the motorcycle was "pretty cool and pretty safe." Just "pretty" safe? This is almost every other parent's worst nightmare!

To be fair, Billy Ray has the same motorcycle and it would be hypocritical of him to forbid Miley from riding a motorcycle considering that he rides one. The Cyrus family is definitely one of Hollywood's weirdest families.

While celebs like Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have said in interviews that they don't give their kids Christmas presents and instead donate money to charities in order to keep their kids from getting too spoiled, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would never do such a thing.

Over the years, North West has been given some of the most expensive presents ever given to a child including one-of-a-kind mini Balmain jackets, a miniature black Lamborghini to match Kanye's own Lambo, specially-made miniature Yeezys, Stella McCartney onesies, a custom baby Bambi shirt from Givenchy, a 400-carat pink pearl to match North’s pink birthstone, diamond earrings, and, of course, a playhouse built to look like a miniature Mediterranean villa, complete with running water, air conditioning, and cable TV.

$14,00 doesn't seem like a lot for a Warhol considering that the Beckhams spent $1 million on their artwork and the artist is still alive! Louis may not be able to appreciate it now (he's only 10) but he definitely will when he grows up!

The two were also given an entire wing in their parents mansion before the famous couple broke up. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's kids weren't born with a silver spoon in their mouth but they were born with a silver pacifier in their mouth! When the power couple's daughter Shiloh was born, she was given a pacifier made out of 14-karat white gold with more than 270 diamonds-encrusted on the outside.

It cost $17,000 but the couple made $4.1 million for Shiloh's first baby picture in 2006 so $17,000 isn't a lot in comparison. They made $14 million off the first picture of their twins! Though the couple has since broken up, they have a total of six children together (three biological and three adopted) and each of them have received luxurious gifts over the years.

However, now that their parents are broken up, the kids probably just want their parents to be able to be in the same room--though that may even more difficult to obtain rather than a diamond-encrusted pacifier.

Surprise! It's the Beckhams again and considering that they have millions of dollars and they love spoiling their kids, it should be no surprise at all that they made it onto the list twice!

Pretty much every kid dreams of having a treehouse but the treehouse that David and Victoria Beckham gave their boys is much more than an ordinary treehouse. In 2005 when their eldest son, Brooklyn was six, they gave their three sons a designer treehouse that was crafted out of Scandinavian redwood, has an adjoining play castle, stands at 16 feet, and it cost almost $200,000!

The Beckham treehouse is so big that it can actually house four people comfortably and it almost had to be torn down because it could potentially be lived in. Compared to crystal bathtubs and diamond diaper clips, this gift would be a lot of fun to own!

She Spent Thousands On His Nursery

When it came to her son Max's nursery, Christina Aguilera spared no expense. She reportedly spent $35,000 on the decor alone including designer furniture and even a 11-foot-tall moon that does appear to serve any real purpose but to frighten poor little Max in the middle of the night.

Aguilera actually hired a design firm to design and decorate the room and it took four months to create.
