The MCU's movie schedule might have been disrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak, but as it stands, the TV show side of the coin remains unaffected.

Marvel and Disney have been given a tricky web to untangle thanks to the COVID-19 outbreak. On May 1, 2020, Black Widow was meant to be released in theaters. That is no longer happening, and Marvel fans will have to wait until November 6, 2020, to see the movie, providing this doesn't drag on and its release gets delayed again.

Not only has the pandemic altered the release date of Black Widow, but all of the MCU movies slated to come out after it have also been pushed back. November 6, 2020, was a date previously reserved for The Eternals. The Eternals has been moved to February 2021 which in turn has delayed the release date of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and so on.

Perhaps the most frustrating part of this reshuffle for Marvel is its TV shows. Phase Four of the MCU brings with it TV shows as well as movies, the first of which is scheduled to hit Disney+ this summer in the form of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. According to an official Disney+ announcement made in France (H/T Cosmic Book News) not only is that release date unchanged, but dates for seven more MCU TV shows have also been decided.

WandaVision will come next and hit Disney+ in December of this year. Loki, What If?, and Hawkeye are all slated for 2021, and three more shows (Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight) are all penciled in for 2022 release dates. We say "penciled in" as even though Marvel or Disney hasn't said so, there's a very real chance the coronavirus forces these dates to change.

Most notably, WandaVision and Loki are rumored to tie-in directly with Dr. Strange 2. Since the movie's release date has been delayed, there's a very strong chance the TV shows can't be released on Disney+ until the Dr. Strange sequel is in theaters. Hopefully, the release dates will remain in place as we are in serious need of any sort of new MCU action.
