Johnny Depp is best known for his acting in a wide variety of films, where he usually plays characters that are a bit eccentric from his portrayal of Edward Scissor Hands to the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland to Pirate Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

When he is not filming, especially during the summer, Depp likes to tour with his rock band, Hollywood Vampires. He plays guitar and sings for the band. The band was formed in 2015 by Depp, Alice Cooper, and Joe Perry. The band is named after a real-life gang of rock stars called The Hollywood Vampires that Alice Cooper started in the 1970s. Members of the original Hollywood Vampires drinking club included John Lennon and Ringo Starr from the Beatles, Keith Moon from The Who, and Mickey Dolenz from the Monkees.

Apparently, Johnny Deep is taking the whole rock star persona seriously. He shaved the sides of his head, leaving a Mohawk on the top that flows down the back of his neck in a braid. The band is now touring and will be in Europe for the next two months. Depp recently performed a cover of David Bowie’s song Heroes, which was videotaped by a fan and uploaded to YouTube.

Johnny Depp’s next film comes out on November 18, 2018. It is entitled Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. The story of the film was created and written by J.K. Rowling of Harry Potter fame. Rowling stood by the Warner Brothers' decision to keep Depp in the lead role after allegations were made against Depp of domestic abuse by his now ex-wife, Amber Heard, who broke up with Depp in 2016.

Fans were divided over whether Depp should have been allowed to continue to star in the film. Daniel Radcliff, who played Harry Potter, came out publicly to say Depp should be taken off the film. However, Rowling’s opinion prevailed and Depp stayed in the film. Depp refuses to talk about the allegations because he says the matter is a private one between him and his ex-wife.

The fans of Depp in Europe do not seem to take much notice of the controversy in America. They are flocking to see the Hollywood Vampires perform on the tour schedule that starts in Germany in June 2018 and then goes all across Europe to end on July 8, 2018, in Rome, Italy.
