Born on July 24, 1969, Jennifer Lopez has had an illustrious career in show business and she’s not done yet. Far from it, the American actress has shown no signs of slowing down. She’s done it all from singing, to dancing, acting, and producing. J.Lo proves that she’s as multi-talented as they come.

Despite being older compared to other Hollywood superstars, Lopez is still one of the most recognizable names in the industry. J.Lo has managed to stay as relevant as ever despite her mature age of 48 years old.

Nowadays, J.Lo is mostly content performing on award shows and halftime shows busting out some dance moves. Lopez doesn’t let age get the better of her and still riles up the crowd after all these years. If she ever decides that it’s time to leave the industry, possibly the thing she will be most remembered for are the plethora of seductive wardrobes she has worn in the center stage.

J.Lo’s bread and butter will always be raising the heart rates of viewers by wearing the most scintillating outfits. Why wouldn’t she strut her stuff when she’s obviously got the best body in town. 

Though most of her outfits are spot on, J.Lo is not immune to a fashion disaster be it going too racy or too adventurous. Jennifer Lopez is sure to headline the news for years to come mostly for the right reasons, and other times, not so much.

Rainbow Dress

While most of J.Lo’s outfits that go overboard are those that are too revealing, this on the other hand is at least two shades too colorful.

On November, 2013, the famed singer performed at the American Music Awards to pay tribute to Cuban singer Celia Cruz who passed away in 2003. For her salsa number, Jennifer Lopez wore this very colorful dress seemingly designed by a kindergarten kid who has been handed the 64 color crayon pack and went to town with it.

Sure salsa is one of the livelier dances but J.Lo’s wardrobe doesn’t complement it at all. The get-up is just tacky and gaudy which in contrast is insulting to the beautiful and graceful dance of salsa. J.Lo, we know you’re as brave a woman, but this outfit is just something not even you can pull off. Hats off for the courage though.

Damsel In Distress

We don’t know what look J.Lo was going for with this outfit she wore in 2003 for the Dolce & Gabbana Ultimate Hollywood Party.

The ensemble was just all sorts of wrong on her for sure. The fabrics don’t go well together and the colors don’t complement each other. That scarf fashioned as a headpiece doesn’t tie up with the outfit either. She does kind of resemble Little Red Riding hood with that scarf.

Maybe that’s what she was going for, a damsel in distress outfit. With that look she sure is one, not because a big bad wolf is after her or an evil queen is out to get her, but because she made all the wrong choices picking out that wardrobe.

Too bad we don’t see a prince charming coming to save her with that outfit she’s sporting.

The Poncho Outfit

What was J.Lo thinking with this outfit? If she thought she could pull off any wardrobe, then she’s obviously wrong.

Those suede boots and denim pants, though not quite the stunners, are okay at least, but that poncho top is just plain hideous. Even her smile on this photo is painful. Maybe she realized a tad too late how horrible a decision it was to wear such a ridiculous top.

The dancing diva wore this outfit in 2005 for the launch of her fourth album named Rebirth. We can’t imagine that look did her album any favors in the sales department. That get-up just doesn’t scream class.

With an album titled Rebirth, we bet she wishes she could redo that event and make a quick outfit change.

White Fur Outfit

J.Lo definitely has a smashing body and she does a fantastic job of showing it off. However, she’s not doing a very good job of selecting which clothes she should be flaunting her body in.

Take this Russian-inspired furry and sequined gown J.Lo wore for her concert at Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, Portugal.

We’re not entirely sure if the dress reminds us of the Queen’s Life Guard, or of the Ice Queen, or of the Little Drummer Boy. What we are certain of is that her body still stood out despite the distracting dress she was wearing.

Of course, it still goes without saying that Jenny from the block looks great even if she makes all the wrong choices with her wardrobe.

American Idol Pyjama Outfit

At this point, it seems Jennifer Lopez might as well just be trolling us. The renowned singer has worn every style there is in the fashion industry; she’s probably just playing around with what to wear next.

Enter this American Idol Season premiere outfit J.Lo presented to the world. The wardrobe’s cut does resemble a pyjama a little bit and with those floral shapes, we won’t be surprised if you think the same. Is there any chance our Latina beauty forgot that she was supposed to wear something else for American Idol instead of a PJ party?

This floral pyjama-inspired outfit also looks like it could have been worn by a hippie, right? The only difference is that this dress shows too much cleavage. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially if your bust looks as good as J.Lo’s, but there’s just so much going on with this outfit.

Extra Glittery Zuhair Murad Gown

J.Lo’s American Idol gig has allowed her to showcase a myriad of fashionable looks. When it comes to outfits, the Latin superstar definitely has worn them all but it should be obvious by now that if there’s a go-to look she favors, it’s definitely the see thru, revealing type.

Lopez paraded a Zuhair Murad Fall 2015 couture gown that certainly got the media and the fans talking. The thing about this wardrobe is that it has been worn by a younger, Dominican Republic model Ysaunny Brito.

On her though it's just a little unflattering and distracting, drawing your attention towards the excessive sparkles. J.Lo needs to wear the dress, the dress shouldn't be wearing her. 

Notice Me Pink Outfit

Being a judge on American Idol for five seasons, Jennifer Lopez is a pro at critiquing contestants’ performances. J.Lo voices out her professional opinions and does not hesitate to help a hopeful contestant the best way she can.

However, it seems that our Latina beauty could use some advice in the fashion department, herself. During one of her tapings for the American reality show, Jennifer Lopez opted to wear an all-pink outfit, which just screams for people to look at her.

Sure, judges have to look great on the set, too, but shouldn’t the focus be on the performers?

Additionally, it seems that J.Lo loved her pink get up so much that she decided to wear the same outfit when she went out for dinner with her then-boyfriend Casper Smart later in the evening.

With a super bright pink outfit like the one J.Lo was wearing, at least she doesn’t have to worry about getting hit by a car or a bus in the dark.

Baggy Silver Bottoms

On January of 2018, Jennifer Lopez once again entertained the world with her stunning number for the Calabash Party at Staples Center.

To complement her dashing performance, J.Lo chose a striking outfit to say the least. As if that bright red wasn’t flashy enough, Lopez had to pair it with glittery silver jacket and baggy bottoms.

We’re a bit baffled on those loose fitting bottoms, they seem to have been chosen to emphasize J.Lo’s dance moves while performing though we’re not sure it was the right call because they were just distracting during her performance.

It probably would have been better if J.Lo chose tight fitting pants to accentuate her legs. She’s obviously got the legs for it anyway.

The funny thing about all this is, it’s frustrating to think that J.Lo still wows us all despite the slightly offbeat ensemble.

Life can be very unfair sometimes.

Matching From Top to Bottom

We are used to seeing Jennifer Lopez wearing clothes that show and hug her skin too much; so, it comes as a surprise when we see the Let’s Get Loud singer in a slouchy silver sweater dress with matching headscarf and thigh-high boots at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards.

It seems that if J.Lo’s not showing skin, she’s got everything covered to the extremes.

It’s great that J.Lo can wear clothes that kids can look at without parents’ fearing of accidentally seeing something their kids shouldn’t, but we think J.Lo should have ditched the turban in this outfit to make her attire more flattering to her already perfect figure.

Or maybe, she wanted her face to be the focus of her look that night? If that was the case, her makeup was on-point!

Silver Space Suit

Oh J.Lo, we know you’re hip, but you’re not that hip to pull off this silver dress that’s possibly aimed at blinding the cameramen and everyone else around her with how shiny and reflective that silver material is.

As if shiny silver wasn’t loud enough, J.Lo accents it up with a touch of orange on the neckline with orange and turquoise shoes. Sure those orange highlights are quite small but they just don’t go well with the outfit.

That pink shade of lipstick also doesn’t do anything to an already messy ensemble.

She should just have stuck with a more conventional shade of lipstick like, you know, that shade of red on her nails.

This outfit wouldn’t have been as jarring if she chose highlights that were a tad more subdued since the silver was already striking.

Tassel Dress

The official song for the FIFA World Cup Song was performed by three well known Latin personalities. J.Lo was one of these stars that dazzled everyone at the MGM Grand Arena with their powerful We Are One performance.

What some of the people are not really impressed with was of J.Lo’s performance outfit. It was a see-thru mesh leotard with gold tassels all over.

Over the years, the latina superstar has worn several leotards, mesh and see-thru outfits but what sets this performance costume apart is that everything is happening on this outfit.

Skin tight leotard? Check. Mesh? Check. See-thru areas? Check. Tassels? Check. Isn’t that too much for such a tiny outfit?

Though the outfit does seem all over the place in still photos, it did look great while she was performing on stage so all's well that ends well.

Napkin Dress

Not a lot of women would be brave enough to wear white, especially a plain white dress, unless its their wedding dress.

Last January 2018 J.Lo attended the NBC World of Star Press Junket wearing a white pleated Ester Abner Resort 2018 mini dress and showed off her beautifully toned and tanned legs accentuated by her Jimmy Choo heels. Women everywhere are envious every time the On the Floor star walks the red carpet be it about her luscious curves, her well known derriere or her very tight legs.

With the Ester Abner mini dress though, several women commented that the mini dress was too juvenile for the 48 year old singer actress to wear.

It definitely didn’t help that the model who first wore the said dress looks more than half her age really nailed the look for this mini dress.

Certainly, even J.Lo’s young for her age looks can’t pull off this mini dress.

Orange and Gold Dress

In August of 2016, it was reported that Jennifer Lopez broke up with then boyfriend Casper Smart. A week after, J.Lo attended the Epic Summer in New York after the VMAs.

Lopez wore a stylish thigh high gold mini dress looking as glowing (no pun intended) as ever.

The latina superstar didn’t make her recent break up get in the way of strutting her stuff at the VMA after party.

We take it back, apparently orange can go well with a glittery ensemble. It helps that the dress hugs her skin better than the silver and orange outfit earliest in this list. This fit is so much more flattering for her.

We imagine a lot of guys lined up to be next for J.Lo’s heart after seeing her wear this sassy mini dress.

Gold Long Gown

What better way to end this list than with J.Lo wearing her signature barely there dress but this time in absolutely regal gold color.

The ever sizzling hot singer hosted the 2015 American Music Awards wearing a Julien Macdonald dress which completely nailed what a J.Lo dress should look like.

The gorgeous gold dress defies logic by being quite revealing but still being respectable and classy.

The sensual dress was heavy on the cleavage and cutouts but was still decent using skin tone fabric to cover up the more sensitive areas.

We didn’t know such a risque design could emanate a dignified look.

Maybe it was the color because gold can do that, give something a royal feel. Or maybe it’s just J.Lo being her awesome self, defying what’s impossible and proving to the world that she is the queen of the naked dress.

Fausto Puglisi dress

Performing onstage has always been one of Jennifer Lopez’s strengths. The latina performer has always been on point when it comes to her dance routines.

We can’t say the same for her fashion sense though. J.Lo just likes to keep pushing the boundaries when it comes to her wardrobe.

The famous singer wore a Fausto Puglisi dress while performing her new hit Ni Tu Ni Yo.

The black dress was actually very attractive and fashionable going well with gold and silver adornments giving it a really classy vibe.

Though the gold and silver highlights give the dress an elegant look, the two very long slits on each side just muddles any class this dress exhibited.

Nothing says trashy more than showing off your legs with waist high slits san underwear.

J.Lo does it again ruining a perfectly glamorous ensemble by going too far because of her mission to show more skin than those girls working at the red light district.
