When these celebrities appear in their famed movies, television shows or music videos, they have the potential to blow people away with their good looks. But when you get these celebrities out in the real world, you may instead be left baffled by some of the fashion choices they've elected to go with.

Because while you know these celebrities are good looking, they definitely have had some moments in the past that makes you wonder if they ever employed a stylist. Or if they do have one, maybe they should hire a new one. It would be real easy to fire their old one considering the outfits on this list.

Some celebrities on our list clearly put in the effort to try and look their best, but that may make it all the more disappointing when their efforts fall flat. Others look like they may have given up trying years ago. Though in Adam Sandler's case, not caring isn't exactly exclusive to his appearance.

Regardless of your opinion on some of the celebrities featured, we're sure you'll enjoy laughing at the fashion fails that we've got on display today.

Snooki

Now to be completely fair, it's not like the people who made a name for themselves on Jersey Shore did so by making the smartest decisions. But they did have to rely on their physical beauty to help win over many fans.

Though as attractive as Snookie can look, there are perhaps far too many examples from her career where it seems like she forgot to evaluate her outfit choices for the day before stepping out of the house.

Snooki will be re-entering the public spotlight with another rendition of the Jersey Shore, this time titled Jersey Shore Family Vacation but we hope that when she does, she'll do so with a stronger sense of fashion. If not, she may find herself just reaffirming why people place her on lists of the worst dressed celebrities in Hollywood.

Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham knows that when it comes to ranking the best and worst outfits from award shows, that she has found herself on the negative side more often than not.

But when talking to E! News about how she feels landing on lists that highlight perhaps some of her more forgettable looks, Dunham stated, "I even like ending up on that ‘Good People, Bad Clothes' page or whatever it's called...that stuff gives me pleasure."

There's a good chance Dunham will have a future outfit featured on a list like that again, but at least you can know she has a positive attitude about it. Let's hope her stylist who will have spent a lot of time in trying to get her to look her best, only to fall flat, is also able to laugh off the criticism that comes her way.

Kanye West

There may not be a family that seemingly cares more about fashion than the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Which may add even more pressure to Kanye West to try and always be looking his best. That definitely doesn't mean he always does though. As is the case with this next entry that features Kanye, we're sure you may be in agreeance that his outfit choice wasn't exactly the most fashionable.

West, to his credit, does have a successful fashion line but that doesn't mean that all of his ideas are going to be winners or that he should be used as a role model. At least if the online community ever reacts too harshly to some of his outfit choices, he'll have the support of the family who will definitely know what that feels like.

Ariel Winter

There are many outfits that Ariel Winter wears outside of the house that definitely makes her look amazing. But there are also many examples where it seems Ariel Winter didn't do a strong enough job checking herself over in the mirror before she heads out and as a result lets her private areas become a lot less private.

Winter has been caught showing off too much skin at the gym, she's shown off too much on the red carpet and she's even had an infamous "shorts" incident that left nearly all of her exposed during a trip around town.

Winter has tough skin and is open about body-positivity, but even she may be getting tired of all the headlines about her constant wardrobe malfunctions. Something a stylist would surely put an end to.

Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj is no stranger to getting at the forefront of controversy and making her opinion heard. But if someone was ever in the middle of a feud with Minaj and wanted to throw some shade their way, perhaps they'd just pull out photos of some of her more unbelievable outfits. And as this photo shows, we definitely don't mean unbelievable in the positive sense.

While it's only one example, it's indicative of some of the more bizarre outfits that Minaj has tried to pull off in the past. Perhaps if people throw too much haterade on her that she'll just find a way to turn it into inspiration for a new hit song. Though with some of the money she earns, perhaps she'll put it towards talking to a stylist!

Adam Sandler

When you look at the past few films of Adam Sandler, there is definitely a pattern of an actor who has simply stopped caring. But after a successful career in the '90s set him up for a career of phoning it in with performances and making movies with your best buddies, perhaps you can't blame him for taking the easy cash.

But it seems like it may be even easier for Sandler to start putting at least some semblance of effort into his appearance. If the past is any indication though, don't expect that to change. Sandler is often seen wearing mismatched outfits or baggy clothing that does little to make him look appealing. Though perhaps it helps him blend into the crowd?

Lady Gaga

There are many moments where Lady Gaga has worn a particular outfit, such as her infamous meat dress, to try and state a point. But the point being made by this next entry on our list may be that while Gaga is opinionated, she perhaps needs to spend more time listening to the opinions of others when putting together her style. At least if she wants to land herself off lists like this.

Gaga should perhaps be commended for following what she thinks is best when it comes to fashion, but her turning heads for the wrong reasons isn't exactly new. So perhaps by this point, she's learned how to ignore the naysayers and continue stepping out of the house in some shocking looks. Which may be the best thing to do from a personal standpoint, it may just not win her many points with fashion critics.

Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco often looks like one of the most beautiful celebrities on television when she appears on The Big Bang Theory. But when Cuoco gets her own control over her sense of fashion, she has definitely come away with some looks that many fashion critics wish she had left back at the store.

Such as this dress that she decided to wear back to the SAG Awards in 2017 that had one fashion critic for Insider.com comparing the dress to looking like a piece of candy. Which probably wasn't the overall aesthetic that she was going for. Though you can expect Cuoco's career to continue on an upward trend while The Big Bang Theory is on the air, so she still has plenty of time to consider new stylists.

Mickey Rourke

There are many actors that have benefitted significantly from their role in the Marvel Universe. But for Mickey Rourke, he may be part of one of the least-enjoyed films of the franchise when he joined on to Iron Man 2 in the lead antagonist role.

Rourke may look big and beefy on the screen, but when you see him away from it, you may often see Rourke wearing outfits that leave the general public baffled. Such as a pair of neon green yoga pants that definitely didn't leave enough to the imagination, especially in motion!

But given his tough-guy attitude (and past history in the world of boxing), we're sure nobody was too eager to let him know that he wasn't exactly doing himself any favors when he left the house looking like this.

Katy Perry

There are many things that Katy Perry is very talented at. But while Katy Perry may know how to belt out a high note or create a music video that has over 1 billion views, she also knows how to wear some seriously questionable outfits in public. This includes, but definitely isn't limited to this outfit that she selected to wear to the Grammys and as a result, landed herself a spot here for our next entry.

Though to be fair, Perry does seem to be back in the good graces of Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom who she had previously split with for a short period back in 2017. So perhaps he'll be able to lend her some fashion advice for the next time the photographers come after her.

Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne does have some moments when she walks out of the house wearing an outfit that is a little less "out there" than the one we've selected for today. But when you look at the general theme of Thorne's wardrobes, wearing shocking and revealing clothing definitely seems to often be at the forefront.

While Thorne has promoted a healthy body-image and openly shouted back at haters who question her fashion sense when people start listing off the worst-dressed celebrities, it doesn't typically take too long before Thorne's name pops up.

With her career having big potential growth in 2018, perhaps she'll see a change in her sense of style that lands her off of these lists. But if she continues doing her own thing, we're sure she'll also have much thicker skin by the time 2019 rolls around and hopefully a deeper sense of confidence in herself.

Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp has definitely not been a stranger to having negative headlines being written about him throughout his career. But while we could use this time to talk about his horrific treatment of Amber Heard, instead we'll use it to talk about his fashion. Depp seemingly knows he dresses "down" as he once stated that when people approach him, they have been known to say that he dresses like a hobo.

It's not that Depp can't afford to dress nicely, it just seems like he truly doesn't care. Which means that expecting him to shell out money for a stylist, and not something more fun in his eyes like a beverage may be asking a lot.

That being said, perhaps seeing photos like this will help remind him of how bad his sense of fashion can get and will motivate him to make a change.

Christina Aguilera

There are definitely some music videos where Christina Aguilera knows how to turn the heat up with some seriously seductive outfits. Granted, some of those outfits are from over a decade ago, but perhaps that also speaks to Aguilera's longevity as a musician and television personality. You also have to imagine that when Aguilera would step in front of a video camera to shoot a music video that she would have several people voicing their opinions about what she is wearing.

The truth of the matter is, however, that whether we jump back to the '90s or look at some of her more recent looks there is no question that Aguilera has made some questionable fashion choices that we're sure she wishes she could have taken back. Even if it may leave you entertained!

Rose McGowan

Rose McGowan made headlines back in 1998 when she appeared at the VMA's in a dress that was so revealing, that it had to be censored on the broadcasts. She later admitted that this was the first red carpet event that she attended following her being assaulted and that she wore the outfit as a form of silent protest.

We aren't too sure if there was a cause or reason behind her decision to sparkle her hair up in gold when she attended the Grammys in 2017, but either way, it was a decision that left many critics baffled. Perhaps she was just trying to go with the gold aesthetic of the event? At the very least, we're sure the censorship team was glad they didn't have to go into overdrive.

Armie Hammer

Armie Hammer has spent a large portion of the last part of his life promoting his work on the movie Call Me By Your Name. But one of the most talked about aspects of his "press tour" is the fact that Hammer elected to do most of it while primarily wearing tracksuits. Something that definitely may not be the most fashionable. Though when you hear Hammer explain his thoughts on Conan, perhaps you can let his constant fashion fails slide

"If I'm gonna go jump through these hoops, and I'm gonna go continue to talk about this movie that I've talked about ad nauseam, I'm gonna be comfortable."

Perhaps Hammer did end up hiring a stylist though, as he did admit that he's retiring the tracksuits!
