Being a WWE superstar does have its perks; traveling the world doing what you love, and wrestling in front thousands in attendance and millions at home. Another perk and probably the biggest one of all is how well these superstars are compensated. Although the pay range might not be as high for some of these superstars compared to other professional athletes, they are still making a large salary.
These superstars get to live out a lifestyle that most of us can only dream of. The expensive, exotic car parked in the driveway of a million dollar mansion, a closet full of designer clothes and shoes, those are the usual materialistic things one might buy with this kind of money. Some, however, would rather spend it on other things that are not as common as you might think. Here is a list of 15 outrageous purchases made by WWE superstars.
15 Batista: Lunch Boxes
This is a very odd one; Batista is an avid collector of vintage metal lunch boxes. His collection started when he was married to his first wife. He bought her an E.T. lunch box and she didn’t want to break it so he bought her a second one. Ever since then Batista has been collecting vintage lunch boxes. His favorite one of his collection is the 1967 Green Hornet lunch box with Bruce Lee on it. He also had a custom lunch box made of himself and his good friend, the late great Eddie Guerrero.
14 Rey Mysterio: Motorcycles/Trucks
He has a love for motorcycles and trucks, but his love however, certainly doesn’t come cheap. Rey has three custom made bikes. One of his bikes, which is his prized possession, is custom made from scratch, meaning all the parts are original and is one of a kind that nobody else in this world has. Mysterio also has two massive pickup trucks that he spent lots of money on to have customized.
13 Fandango: Skateboards
When he’s not dancing around in front of thousands in attendance and millions at home, Fandango (born Curtis Jonathan Hussey) has admitted that he enjoys skateboarding. He started when he was just fifteen years old and began collecting them over the past ten years. Most of his skateboards are customized and modified to the WWE superstar's choice and liking.
12 Big Show: Tour Bus
With the WWE’s extremely hectic travel schedule, there is no doubt that touring can take a toll on wrestlers, especially if you are as large as the Big Show. Knowing this, it might not come as a surprise that the giant WWE superstar ended up purchasing his very own tour bus. Fun Fact: the tour bus previously belonged to country singer Toby Keith. The bus even includes a full bar which Big Show claims he never uses.
11 William Regal: Reptiles
Since he was just nine years old, William Regal has been fascinated with reptiles. As his bank account began to grow, his fascination was taken to new heights, acquiring lizards and snakes over the years. Regal currently has two snakes, eight lizards, and a tortoise. It is quite the collection, and a very expensive one at that. The current General Manager of NXT claims he bought all of his pets at specialized dealers, which can also be costly to maintain.
10 R-Truth: Music Studio
R-Truth has had a successful wrestling career spanning over a total of 20 years. Over that long period of time though, he was not just focused on wrestling, he also pursued his passion for music. Truth built his own music studio in his house with state of the art equipment. Truth made and produced his own singles in his studio. Additionally, he also made his current entrance song in that very studio.
9 Stone Cold: Clocks and Watches
This will surprise some of you but the beer drinking rattlesnake spends some of his money on clocks and watches. In an interview with The Chicago Tribune, Steve Austin talked about his collection and said, “I would say my watches, I probably have 10 at this point and clocks going back to the ’30s and ’50s old neon beer clocks. When I say collect, I don’t mean collector-type pieces. I try to be on the thrifty side.” Austin brings up his collection several times during his Podcast, and it’s evident that he put a lot of time and money into this.
8 The Undertaker: Motorcycles
After wrestling for over 25 years, The Undertaker has a good sum of money saved up. The Deadman really loves motorcycles, and it’s no surprise, as he used to come down to the ring with a variety of them over the years while he was using his "American Bada**" gimmick. Taker collects Harley-Davidson and West Coast Choppers bikes, and he bought his first brand new bike after defeating Hulk Hogan for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series in 1991. What started out as a collection, eventually turned into an obsession. Natalya has a huge shoe collection. She has shoes for specific things like going grocery shopping or doing the laundry. Natalya even has shoes for future events, like when she has her first child. These shoes aren’t just any ordinary shoes that you can go buy at Payless, though. Most of her shoes range up to $2000. She has all the designer names, from Louis Vuitton to Gucci. To add to her obsession, Natalya reportedly brings along a shoe Guru with her when she shops.

What makes this car so rare is that only a little over 400 were ever produced.

Kofi is a child at heart. In the man cave in his house Kofi has a wide selection of collectibles that he spent large sums of money on throughout the years. Some items include a helmet collection ranging from Star Wars, to Iron Man, to even a signed Tom Brady New England Patriots helmet. Kofi also has a wide range of swords. He has a replica sword from the movie Braveheart and has replicas of lightsabers. As well as those collectibles, Kofi owns a large comic book collection; he loves to read them while he’s off on the road. Although all of these are great, Kofi's most prized collector's item is his vintage arcade system.
4 Jerry Lawler: Coca Cola and Superman Memorabilia
Lawler has a personal museum of Coca Cola and Superman memorabilia. His collection is so big that he needed a four-car garage to fit all of it in. His Coca Cola memorabilia includes old radios, antique coke bottles, and antique coke vending machines. Every stop he’s made around the world he has picked up some Coca Cola item to add to his collection.
Along with his Coca Cola collection, The King's second favorite collectors item is Superman. He has a huge collection of Superman memorabilia items spanning from comics to giant statues. The King also owns a replica of the Bat-mobile from the 1960’s Batman series.
3 Brock Lesnar: Private Jet
We all know that Brock Lesner is a very private person. He has made a lot of money over the years in wrestling and MMA, but he isn’t the flashy type to show off the “toys” he bought. Though in 2004, Lesnar purchased a $400,000 business jet. He did this so that he could have the ability to travel alone and not with his fellow colleagues. His purchase came out to a much more luxurious expense if you include fuel, mechanics, insurance and the pilot, of course.

We all know that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is a moneymaker. Whether it’s in Hollywood doing movies or appearances at WrestleMania, The Rock draws in a great amount of revenue. The weights and machines were also custom made. It’s every lifter's dream to have what The Rock has in his home.

The Billionaire Boss is no stranger to living lavishly, and who can blame him? He has built a multi-million dollar powerhouse wrestling company. McMahon has a 12 million dollar penthouse in Manhattan, a 40 million dollar mansion in Connecticut, and a 20 million dollar vacation home, which he hardly uses because he is always working. Regardless of all these great things though, Vince’s prized possession is his 47 foot sports yacht which he cleverly named “Sexy B****”.
