Grandfather Wins $200 000 off Grandson Harry Wilson

One lucky grandfather won $200,000 Tuesday night off an $80 dollar bet in Wales when his grandson, Harry Wilson made history by becoming the youngest player ever to play for the Wales national squad at the young age of 16 years and 207 days.

The bet was made at a local bookmaker when Harry was only 18 months old. His grandfather, Pete Edwards, bet 80$ that his grandson would be the youngest player to play for the Wales national squad. He was offered odds of 2500/1.

The young Liverpool Academy player made his granddad a huge amount of money when he appeared as a substitute in Wales last game of their World Cup qualifying campaign against Belgium which finished 1-1. It broke the record previously held by Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

Since then, Pete Edwards has said that he has been able to retire comfortably off of his winnings. He has also promised to share them with his grandson.
