Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent

What is the reason behind business partners and longtime friend Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and 50 Cent split?

Mayweather said it has to do with their business relationship. The two decided to go separate ways and concentrate on their own companies, Mayweather with his Money Mayweather Promotions and 50 Cent with his G-Unit and Interscope.

In July last year, the two started TMT (The Money Team) which will help fighters have control over their careers. But Curtis James Jackson III, 50 Cent’s real name, revealed that it did not obtain a promoter’s license. After Mayweather got out of prison in August, there was no more communication between them and Jackson somehow felt betrayed.   In November, they announced to the public that their partnership was over.

Jackson also told reporters that he did not learn that much about business from Floyd, only an opportunity to see somebody live a music video, like the boxing superstar living life to the fullest. He also mentioned that Mayweather is like a brother to him, but there were some things that Mayweather did that made him get mad but he is passed it now.

Earlier this May, 50 Cent was spotted in Las Vegas promoting his SMS Audio Products with Mayweather’s dad and Mike Tyson.

So does that mean that the once business buddies are in good terms again?
