Of course, when Ronda Rousey (and women’s MMA in general) debuted in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2013, it opened the door for many of the top female fighters we see today.

Now that more women are competing and thriving in the sport then ever, they are also starting to make some pretty good money. In fact, as we are about to see, several of the wealthiest have become millionaires.

10 Valentina Shevchenko ($1 Million)

Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko is the reigning UFC Women’s Flyweight champ. The native of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan (part of the former Soviet Union) is currently ranked as the number 11 pound-for-pound fighter in the world on a list that includes both men and women. The crafty Muay Thai specialist holds signature victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Juliana Pena, and Holly Holm. Shevchenko is also the last woman to be involved in a competitive fight with current double champ, Amanda Nunes.

According to Net Worth Stats, “Bullet” is worth as much as $1 million. It should be noted that this number may be low, as Shevchenko has been involved in several high profile fights fairly recently, and her winnings may not have been taken into account when this number was released.

9 Amanda Nunes ($1 Million)

Given her resume, it’s clear that Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes is the greatest female fighter to ever set foot in the Octagon. She’s defeated a who’s who of women’s MMA. Nunes has beaten Cris Cyborg, Ronda Rousey, Valentina Shevchenko, and Miesha Tate – just to name a few. The Brazilian holds both the UFC Women’s Bantamweight and Featherweight championships. She is the only woman in the history of the UFC to hold titles simultaneously.

Considering her accomplishments, one would expect to see Nunes much further down our list. That being said, she is still worth $1 million, according to Wealthy Gorilla.

8 Cat Zingano ($2 Million)

“Alpha” Cat Zingano is a free agent who previously competed in both the UFC’s bantamweight and featherweight divisions. She was the distinction of being the last woman to defeat Amanda Nunes – a feat accomplished back in 2014. She is skilled grappler and former ADCC Submission Wrestling World Champion. The Winona, Minnesota product is perhaps best known for challenging Ronda Rousey for the title at UFC 184, back in February of 2015. Rousey would end up winning the fight in just 14 seconds.

3 Miesha Tate ($6 Million)

Miesha “Cupcake” Tate is a retired MMA fighter who was one of the UFC’s early female stars. The 33-year-old is best known for her feud with Ronda Rousey, which helped shine a spotlight on women’s MMA. Tate’s finest moment occurred at UFC 196, back in 2016, when she upset Holly Holm to capture the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. The former champ has also modeled for several well-known publications like Fitness Gurlz and ESPN The Magazine. These days, she serves as the Vice President for One Championship, an MMA promotion based in Singapore.

Of course, this also opened the door for other female fighters to enter the UFC. During her MMA run, the former bantamweight champ became a household name, appearing on the cover of magazines and in mainstream films. Rousey also had a successful run in WWE.
