For the first time in the 2020 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers will allow some fans at Lambeau Field.

On Thursday, the Packers announced that they will have about 6,000 tickets available for the team's upcoming NFC Divisional Round home playoff game. Tickets will be available to season ticket holders, with frontline health care workers and first responders also receiving invitations.

Per the team's announcement, ticket prices will cost between $127 to $177. Social distancing measures will be in effect, and tailgating at Lambeau Field will not be permitted.

The Packers played without any fans for their eight regular season home games. For the second straight year, Green Bay notched a 7-1 record at Lambeau Field, with the only loss coming against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8.

Green Bay finished with the NFC's best record at 13-3 to land the only first-round bye in the NFC; the expanded 14-team playoff format meant an additional wild card team and only one bye per conference.

The Packers will play the lowest remaining seed in the Divisional Round, either the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Washington Football Team.

If the Packers win, they'll reach the NFC Championship Game for the second straight year, a feat they have never accomplished with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback. They also reached the NFC Championship Game in the 2010, 2014 and 2016 seasons.

Like the Packers, the Buffalo Bills will welcome a limited number of fans for their first home playoff game (a Wild Card Round contest against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday) after playing all eight regular season home game without any spectators.

Rodgers is widely expected to win the 2020 NFL MVP award after leading the NFL with 48 touchdown passes. He had 4,299 passing yards and only five interceptions, finishing the season with a superb 121.5 quarterback rating. Rodgers also had 149 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
