While it is true that men in sports make the big bucks and walk away with the belles of the ball, the women in sports are no less talented and way better looking than the dudes. Not all women, though, because somehow, if a girl is turning out to be hot, she heads to Hollywood to get all dolled up. Beautiful girls mostly become models, sugar babes, bartenders, or end up being your boss – how’s that for unattainable? Some of them, if they have the brains to match their looks, end up being lawyers. Though with your luck, they will be your wife’s attorney and out to get your money, not to get you! And then there are those who manage to carve out proper careers for themselves. And again, they will turn you down for a date cause they are hot, and you are not…

A very little percentage manage to get into sports – now these chicks are gorgeous, have super bods and hot faces and are also strong to the boot – in fact, they are stronger than most dudes. These are ladies you should approach very carefully for a date cause you look at them wrong and wham – it's lights out for you! But jokes aside, women do have work a hell of a lot harder to prove themselves to be more than just good looking – and sports is a merciless arena, in any case. Here are 15 really beautiful sportswomen to watch out for in 2018, as you will probably be seeing more of them than Ronda Rousey or Danica Patrick.

Anna Gasser

This girl is way too smokin' to let the snow bother her! This Austrian snowboarder had a good 2017, and 2018 seems to be even more promising what with her being in her prime. She had qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics and was instantly in the news for she had shown the best result in the qualification round, directly reaching the finals. In 2017, Gasser won Gold in the Big Air event at the Snowboard World Championships in Spain and in 2017 X Games performance, winning Gold in Slopestyle. She also won Bronze in Big Air in Hafjell, and Silver for Big Air in Aspen. Plus there were gold medals for her at the Winter X Games and FIS World Championships. Currently being sponsored by Red Bull, she is giving her competition jitters for the upcoming winter's Olympic Games and her aim is pretty simple – don’t get injured, don’t fall, and definitely go for gold! Aspiration mixed with a healthy dose of sexy; no wonder guys are suddenly into winter sports.

Hilary Knight

She is so incendiary, that the puck kind of gravitates towards her naturally. The city of Sun Valley, Idaho declared May 19, 2011, as Hilary Knight Day. Why? Cause, Knight is not just one hot as hell and tough player in the U.S. Women's National Hockey Team, but also one of the top female players in the world. With a high-profile and rather lucrative (team) salary renegotiation with USA Hockey under her belt, this Wisconsin grad is gung-ho for the winter's Olympics. The Americans are expected to compete for gold – well, obviously. "Gold or bust. We are all in," says Knight with her trademark smile. Why not, seeing her previous track record. In the 2014 Olympics, Knight was tied for the Team USA lead in points with 6 and scored the team's first goal of the tournament. She was named the Media All-Star team after the end of the Games and finished with three goals, three assists, six points, and a silver medal.

Julia Vins

The muscles, the curves, and that face – she is any well-built dude’s fantasy, for the thin ones wouldn't stand a chance! This Russian powerlifter took up this rather unusual sport (for women) when she was 15 and started by simply copying the men the gym. A coach discovered this powerful girl and decided to train her right for her to become a weightlifter. As good as she is in her sport, she’s very popular on Instagram as well, having more than 600k followers! In stark contrast to that powerful body and bulging muscles is her gorgeous face that she loves to dress up in colors. This stunning girl says, “I have these big, beautiful eyes and wear makeup. But at the same time, I’m strong.” While she has many fans, many critique her for not being an “actual” competing sportswoman. Yulia Viktorovna Vins (the name Julia Vins was born with), however, doesn’t care. Some call her not very feminine while some call her too feminine but the fact remains; she is a powerful fitness idol.

Lokelani McMichael

There is nothing hotter than a hot Hawaiian girl. Case in point: this triathlete, surfer, and model. Lokelani McMichael became the youngest female to finish the Hawaii Ironman in 1995 and she was just 18 years old! Barely into adulthood, she whipped some 48,000 people silly. And she became eligible for one of the 2,000 spots in the whopping 140.6-mile triathlon. The achievement also put her into the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest woman ever to finish the Ironman. Talk about being sweet and strong! Her rather attractive form has been featured plenty sports magazines and we are sure that her cut-outs adorn many dorm lockers. Her real (Hawaiian) name is Lokelaniku'uleimakamae, which reads, "I’m too hot to handle." Just kidding. Her family background is pretty stellar too for her parents have run a popular surf shop in Kailua-Kona (home of the Ironman) and not just that. They have provided water safety for the swim portion for many years.

Darya Klishina

This Russian long-jumper started her sports career by playing volleyball at the age of eight but her father, a former athlete, changed her mind. And this super-hot Russian took to the sport of long jump when she turned 13. Her career hasn’t been without challenges, though. The IAAF had suspended the Russian national federation from competing due to a breach of anti-doping rules. Klishina appealed the decision, ardently stating, "I am a clean athlete and have proved that already many times and beyond any doubt. Based in the US for three years now, I have been almost exclusively tested outside of the Anti-Doping system in question. I am falling victim to those who created a system of manipulating our beautiful sport and is guilty of using it for political purposes." On the eve of the event, she was allowed. But the stress made her finish ninth, the first time in 20 years that a Russian woman failed to medal in the long jump. She rallied in 2017, competing as an authorized neutral athlete at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics in London. Darya Klishina won a silver medal with a season-best jump of 7.00m, finishing two centimeters behind American gold-medalist Brittney Reese.

Paige Spiranac

So as much as she loves to putt, she kind of also loves to show off her behind, and the rest of her bod. And her curves – basically, all of it. Now while that does strike a lovely chord in the audience, not so much in the competition who found her outfits very, very distracting. Could you imagine what would happen if she ever played against Tiger Woods? All his addiction therapy would be in vain! For a, well, professional golf player, Paige is known for her game, but also for those gravity-defying golf outfits. Basically, she gained notoriety for her beauty and revealing clothing, more so when the LPGA introduced a stricter dress code for its female players in 2017. According to the new rules, tour pros are not able to wear shirts with plunging necklines or barely-covered butt short skirts; Spiranac became one of the fiercest opponents to the code. But the girl has game for sure. both on the course and off it.

Alex Morgan

Alexandra Patricia Morgan Carrasco is not just an American soccer player but also an Olympic gold medalist, and FIFA Women's World Cup champion. Currently, she plays forward for Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the United States women's national soccer team and is on loan to Lyon. 2017 kept her off the field because of a hamstring injury but 2018 better look out for her again. Off the field, Morgan has written a middle-grade book series about four soccer players called The Kicks. The first book in the series, Saving the Team, debuted at number seven on The New York Times Best Seller list in May 2013. So not only can the girl play ball, she can also write about playing ball. And then there is that body and that face – if Greece has a soccer Goddess, her name would be Alex Morgan.

Gina Carano

So yes, her MMA career seems to be over and that much-awaited bout between her and Ronda Rousey never materialized. But ever since her film career took off, we have been seeing better and improved version of her in every film, from Haywire to Deadpool. 2018 will be even bigger and better for her, and we are sure fans would approve. That said, don’t think what you see of her onscreen in any less real than the toughness she showed in the ring. In fact, when shooting Haywire with Michael Fassbender, Gina said, "We were brutal to each other. He was slamming me into the wall. He slammed my head so hard, I lost it for a second — I went white. And at one point, our knees clashed, he got a limp.” Oh, and he also kind of kissed her on the first day of the shoot.

Lindsey Vonn

So other than winning many a crystal balls for her skiing talent, Lindsey Vonn also dated serial-cheater Tiger Woods for a while before moving on. And then she firmly established that hotness by appearing on a magazine cover, covered in body paint. Now, how hot is that? While her off-the-snow antics firmly put her in the spotlight and has made her a household pin-up name, at least with the guys, Vonn more than takes care of business on the snow, considering she has recovered from every injury her sport has put her through. In 2017, even after fracturing her arm, she came first in a downhill event in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, capturing her 77th win. Fighting back from a recent injury, she has her sights set on PyeongChang 2018.

Paige VanZant

This little pocket rocket's parents owned a dance studio, and she was brought up dancing ballet, jazz, and hip-hop for over 13 years – perhaps the reason why she is so fast on her feet. All through growing up, she was a tomboy and loved doing what the boys did and the girls didn’t, like riding dirt bikes and fishing. Her love for martial arts emerged from the simple fact that she was regularly bullied by a group of girls who tended to carry knives and guns. She had the ability to defend herself and that gave her confidence, and we are sure that those bullies today still dread having to watch her in the ring! A fighter in UFC's flyweight division, VanZant brings fights real and a tad dirty, bringing a blue-collar attitude to the ring that the audience really loves. 2017 was full of health problems for her but she is raring to go in 2018 with more wins than losses under her belt.

Winifer Fernández

Winifer María Fernández Pérez is a Dominican female volleyball player who was named #7 by the Salvadorian newspaper El Mundo among the 10 most beautiful and coveted athletes in the world. The fact is that she is pretty enough to carve out a career in modelling if she wanted and has a hot body to match. To this, Winifer reacted expressing that is an honor and a compliment for the Dominican women, but that she would like to be remembered for her playing skills and not just her pretty face or hot bod. Some called her the hottest girl at the 2016 Rio Olympics as well and the media splashed her training pictures all over the Internet, setting off a fan-frenzy – apparently, now there are fan sites celebrating that sexy bod as well! And then there was that viral video in which clips of her matches were spliced together by someone who had nothing better to do…

Malia Manuel

Malia Manuel is a professional surfer from Kauai, Hawaii who won the Rookie of the Year in 2012 and was ranked 5th on the 2014 ASP World Tour, when she was just 21! As for her hotness, well, she’s a surfer. And she is Hawaiian and loves to hula. Need we say more? Her website states, “Surfing has been ingrained in Malia’s blood since she was born. As a baby, her parents would take turns watching her on the sand while the other would catch waves on the beaches of Kauai. As soon as she turned two, Malia started surfing with them. Born and raised in the small lush town of Wailua, Kauai. Malia has been highly influenced by her culture. Her father was born and raised in Kauai and is part Hawaiian, her mother is from Southern California, making Malia 'hapa haole!' It’s rare to see her without a smile on her face or doing something other than creating beauty through her art, sports, activities, or surfing.” We agree!

Ellen Hoog

With a bod like that, Ellen Hoog, is definitely one to watch. She is a Dutch hockey player that has played 127 matches and scored 32 goals. She won Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012 and a silver medal in 2016, and we expect bigger things from her in 2018! Does she have a secret to her success? Well, she attributes it to hard work (of course) and to her pregame rituals: “I only have two pregame rituals: Before each match, I first put on my right shin guard and then my left. And before the start of a big tournament and before each final, together with some of my teammates, we watch the movie The Notebook.” But she is one tough cookie in her personal life as well for when her father died in 2005, one week after she won the European Championship – it was a tough time for her. But she rallied and her sport and fans have been thankful for her talent and passion for the game. Plus seriously, did you look at those abs?

Skylar Kierra Diggins-Smith

So how hot is Diggins, especially now that she is married and unavailable? In 2017, Diggins played all 34 games of the season for her team Dallas Wings (earlier Tulsa Shock) and was in peak form. She scored a season-high 30 points along with a franchise record of 7 three-pointers in an 81-69 win over the San Antonio Stars. She was voted into the 2017 WNBA All-Star Game for this. Diggins finished off the season averaging 18.5 points per game as well as an all-time career-high in assists and rebounds. Her contribution helped her team reach the playoffs as the number 7 seed in the league. She didn’t make the 2014 USA National Team, though, and was one of the final three cuts. 2018 seems like a whole new beginning for her, with her newly married status and her all-time career high. She’s also one of the first sportswomen to be signed on by Roc Nation Sports and is also an advocate against childhood obesity.

Sydney Rae Leroux Dwyer

Leroux is the kind of chick no guy would dare to ask for a date. Firstly, because she is married, and secondly, because if she could kick a soccer ball that hard, guess what she could do to you if you approached her wrong… A professional soccer player and Olympic gold medalist, Sydney represented Canada in her youth before choosing to play with the United States. She started with playing women's national under-20 soccer team in 2008. Later, she began playing for the U.S. senior national team in 2012. There were some instances of fan booing her because she switched sides from Canada to the US – but Leroux never lets that bother her. She plays forward for FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She has earned over 75 caps with the senior national team and was part of the Americans' winning squads at the 2012 London Olympics and 2015 Women's World Cup.
