The Baltimore Ravens-Cleveland Browns Week 14 Monday night contest will likely go down as the best game of the 2020 regular season.

And unsurprisingly, the television ratings were strong for the pivotal AFC North matchup.

In a press release, ESPN announced that their latest Monday Night Football broadcast reached over 12.4 million viewers. This was a nine-percent increase from last year's Week 14 Monday night game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.

Cleveland topped all markets with a local rating of 39.3, followed by Baltimore at 29.6. Columbus (16.3), Pittsburgh (13.2), Cincinnati (11.7), Kansas City (11.4), San Diego (10.9), Nashville (10.8), Seattle and Washington (10.6).

Per ESPN's press release, the game had an audience of 13.43 million during the 11:30-11:45 p.m. EST frame.

The Ravens won a thrilling back-and-forth game 47-42 to clinch the season series sweep. Justin Tucker kicked the game-winning 55-yard field goal with seven seconds left, and the Ravens recorded a safety on the final play to win by five points.

The two clubs combined for a whopping 35 points in the fourth quarter, hence the whole game of the year thing.

With the victory, the Ravens moved to 8-5, while the Browns fell to 9-4. Baltimore is tied with the Miami Dolphins for the final playoff spot in the AFC, while Cleveland holds the top wild card spot in the AFC.

The Browns last made the playoffs in 2002, and they haven't won a postseason game since 1994. It looks like at least one of those streaks will end, while the Ravens are looking to record their third straight postseason berth.

Cleveland will visit the New York Giants on Sunday before they visit the winless New York Jets in Week 16. Their regular season campaign will end with a pivotal Week 17 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As for the Ravens, they'll host the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday before welcoming the Giants. They'll close out their regular season with a Week 17 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals.
