15 Female Wrestlers Who Have Improved Their Fitness Regimen Since Their Wrestling Days

Women's wrestling has changed over the past few years and with the current Women's Revolution ongoing, it seems that the fortunes of many women have changed recently. In the past, there have been many women brought into the company through the WWE Diva Search and even the all-woman season of NXT, but it seems that many of these women weren't seen as keepers in WWE, which could be why they have since moved on and gotten in much better shape.

Even though the Women's Division is currently the best it has been in a very long time, it seems that there are a number of former WWE Divas who are also in incredible shape. There are a number of WWE Hall of Famers and former female wrestlers who have resurfaced over the past few years and seem to be in much better shape than they were when they were wrestling on national TV.

Years may have passed, but it seems that many of these women have found new ways to ensure that they remain in shape and are still able to live up to being some of the best women on TV. Even though wrestling is no longer part of their lives, it seems that fitness is still a huge thing for many of these women. 15 Rochelle Loewen

via: thetalko.com

Rochelle Loewen first came to WWE as a model who was hoping to be signed to the Raw brand under Eric Bischoff before she was later transferred over to SmackDown. Rochelle had a lot of heat backstage stemming from the fact that she had no prior knowledge of the business before she arrived, so she managed to be part of a number of backstage confrontations, including an infamous one with Randy Orton.

Loewen was given a number of opportunities to shine in WWE but she failed and ended up leaving WWE and pursuing a career in radio, television and news programming. It seems that this has done wonders for the former Diva since she still looks great as seen from the image above. Even though she hasn't been in the public eye for more than a decade it seems that Rochelle is definitely doing something right.

14 Christy Hemme

via: instagram.com

Looking at the 2004 Raw Diva Search winner, it's hard to imagine that she has recently given birth to four children. Christy is now a mother of five and announced last year that she was expecting quadruplets. Incredibly, the former Impact Wrestling star has managed to retain her stunning figure even after being put on bedrest for most of her challenging pregnancy.

Christy had a brief run in WWE before rumours of a backstage relationship with Triple H forced her out of the company and allowed her to move over to Impact Wrestling, which is where she was properly able to find herself. Over the past few years, Christy has been able to marry and start a family of her own while still being just 37 years old. Hemme left TNA back in 2016 and hasn't been seen in a ring since, so it is thought that her wrestling career is now over.

13 Alundra Blayze

via: Thedailybeast.com

Alundra Blayze is now a WWE Hall of Famer and was someone who definitely paved the way for many of the women in WWE right now. Even though one of the most iconic moments of her career was when she threw the WWE Women's Championship in the trash on WCW, many fans overlook the fact that Alundra was a fantastic wrestler.

Blayze never cared about being a Diva or eye-candy, she was there to fight, make a name for herself and to prove that the women of the company were prepared to be more than that, but the company wasn't ready to move with the times. Alundra has been helping a number of women in the Performance Centre over the past few years and it seems that even though she has been retired for much longer than many of the other women on this list, she still looks great for her age.

12 Michelle McCool

via: instagram.com

Michelle McCool is a former Women's and Divas Champion in WWE and even though she retired from the business back in 2011, it seems that she has managed to remain in shape over the past seven years, since the birth of her daughter Faith. The wife of former WWE World Champion The Undertaker regularly updates images of herself and her daughter on Instagram where she still looks amazing.

The former school teacher has continued to put the hours in the gym alongside her husband who is reportedly returning to the ring once again soon. Michelle herself returned to the ring at The Royal Rumble earlier this year and eliminated more women than anyone else, which proved that despite not wrestling full-time for the past seven years, Michelle has definitely still got it. The above image which was recently posted on her Instagram page only further proves this point.

11 Ashley Massaro

via: instagram.com

Ashley Massaro was the 2005 Raw Diva Search winner and even though she only remained with the company for a few years, it seems that the model managed to make quite an impact, which included being part of a singles match at WrestleMania 23. Ashley hasn't moved on to do a lot since she left WWE a decade ago, but it seems that despite this she has been able to stay in great shape.

Ashley is only 38 years old but the former WWE star has a 17-year-old daughter. Much of the time it seems that Ashley and her daughters look much more like sisters than mother and daughter. Despite leaving WWE back in 2008, Ashley posted this image where she showed off just how great she still looks. The outspoken star looks almost unrecognizable but still shows that she has remained in shape and kept her iconic blonde locks.

10 Kaitlyn

via: instagram.com

Kaitlyn came to WWE as part of the all-female season of NXT back in 2010 before she later won the season and went on to be promoted to the main roster. Kaitlyn is a former Divas Champion but she asked for her WWE release back in 2014 when it was made apparent that the company had no future plans for her and she wanted to leave to get married and pursue other opportunities outside of the wrestling ring.

Kaitlyn has since gone back into the world of bodybuilding and has gotten into incredible shape as well as opening her own clothing company called Celestial Bodies. Kaitlyn recently went through a divorce and has since turned her life around and decided to return to the ring but in an independent format. It seems that there isn't much of a chance of Kaitlyn returning to WWE anytime in the near future.

9 AJ Lee

via: instagram.com

AJ Lee is one of the most popular former WWE Divas of all time. Lee had the same route into WWE as her best friend Kaitlyn and went on to feud with the former NXT star over the Divas Championship. AJ was once the longest reigning Divas Champion in history before Nikki Bella wiped out her record back in 2015 merely months after AJ left the company following that year's WrestleMania.

Lee married former WWE Champion CM Punk back in 2014 and then retired from WWE the following year. She has since released her autobiography called Crazy is My Superpower, which has become a New York Times bestseller and she announced on Twitter last year that the book was set to be turned into a series this year. It seems that even though AJ has kept herself busy, she has still found time to hit the gym and stay in shape.

8 Trish Stratus

via: wrestlestars.com

Trish Stratus is a former seven-time Women's Champion who retired from WWE back in 2006. Over the past 12 years, Trish has made sporadic appearances in WWE as well as becoming a mother and a wife. Trish was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2013 when she announced that she was expecting her first child.

She has since gone on to have a son called Maximillion and a daughter called Madison. Trish opened her own yoga studio and has since begun a practitioner in yoga. This is one of the reasons why Trish has been able to remain in shape and how she was able to return to the company back at The Royal Rumble and prove the fact that she still has it despite being over 40 years old. Trish looks as amazing as ever as it seems that the past few years have been kind to her.

7 Torrie Wilson

via: Youtube.com

Torrie Wilson was part of WWE for a number of years after she was brought into the company from WCW. Wilson is a former model but was someone who was unable to pick up a Championship in her lengthy WWE career.

Since her release, Torrie has gone on to start a career in fitness and has reached the point now where she has begun working alongside WWE and sharing a lot of her tips to remain fit and healthy online. Torrie is 42 years old and arguably looks better now than she did when she was on the road full-time. Torrie was another star who returned to the company as part of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble and proved that she definitely still has it. Even though she didn't go on to win the match, she wowed the WWE Universe with the fitness level that she has managed to maintain over the past few years.

6 Maryse

via: twitter.com

Maryse is a former Divas Champion, but she left WWE back in 2011 when it was revealed that the former model had decided to pursue other interests. Maryse then went on to start her own clothing and jewellery line called House of Maryse before WWE allowed her to return in 2016 to become the manager of her husband.

Maryse was also added to Total Divas and it seems that even though she hasn't stepped in the ring for more than six years and she and Miz announced that they were expecting their first child next month, Maryse still looks great. It was revealed on Total Divas that the couple's daughter is due merely days before this year's WrestleMania. Some women on this list have seemingly embraced the fact that they have aged over the past few years and it seems that Maryse is one of them and her pregnancy glow is allowing her to remain radiant.

5 Kelly Kelly

via: youtube.com

Kelly Kelly joined WWE when she was just 19 years old, which could be why she is in her 30s now and looks just as good as she ever did when she was on WWE TV. Kelly is a former Divas Champion but she was another woman who walked away from the company before the Women's Revolution and has since been able to remain relevant outside of the ring.

Kelly married Sheldon Souray and was then featured on E! Network show WAGS before the couple went their separate ways last year. Kelly has since been able to return to her roots and has become an ambassador for WWE, which could be why she was able to return for the Royal Rumble back in January and prove that even though she hasn't stepped in a ring in years, she is still in incredible shape. Kelly is someone that many fans think will return to the company again in the near future.

4 Eve Torres

via: twitter.com

Eve Torres was the final winner of the WWE Diva Search and is a former WWE Divas Champion. Eve picked up wresting quite well, but it seems that over the past few years Eve has decided to switch over to Brazillian Ju-Jitsu and kickboxing as well as becoming a spokesperson when it comes to women's self-defence.

Torres left WWE back in 2013 after she asked for her release. She has since become a wife and mother and has become an ambassador for WWE. Shockingly, Eve wasn't invited back to WWE for The Royal Rumble back in January, even though she has remained in fantastic shape and would have been a fantastic option for the match, given the fact that she has continued to workout on a regular basis ever since her release. Eve's last appearance on WWE TV was on Table for 3 back in the summer of 2017, where she looked great.

3 Stacy Keibler

via: instagram.com

Stacy Keibler will be best remembered for her long legs that pushed her into the heart of the WWE Universe. Stacy wasn't a great competitor in the ring, but she was a fantastic personality, which could be why she was able to compete on Dancing with the Stars and remain around the acting business over the past few years.

Stacy dated George Clooney for almost two years and it seemingly raised her profile a little, before she went on to marry Future Ads CEO Jared Pobre and the couple later announced the arrival of their daughter Ava. It seems that motherhood definitely suits Stacy since she has continued to look happy and lovely over the past few years and her Instagram feed is definitely proof of this. Like many other women on this list, Stacy is only in her 30s, but many fans thought she was much older because she was so young when she got her big break on WWE TV.

2 Brooke Adams

via: wrestlingforum.com

Brooke Adams came to WWE through the Diva Search but even though she didn't win the competition, WWE still signed her to the company and sent her to ECW to work with Kelly Kelly and Layla. Brooke didn't last long in WWE and made much more of an impact in TNA, where she is a former Knockout's Champion.

Brooke left Impact Wrestling back in January 2017 and stated that she was unsure whether or not she would return. Brooke gave birth to her first child back in 2016 and it seems that she has stepped away from the business in recent years. Brooke is a dancer and an actress as well as a wrestler and it seems that dancing could be one of the reasons why she has remained in shape since. This image shows that she still looks happy and healthy even after a year away from the business.

1 Gail Kim

via: pinterest.com

Gail Kim is a former WWE Women's Champion and a record-setting former seven-time Knockout's Champion. The former WWE star is widely considered to be one of the best female wrestlers of the current generation and she decided to walk away from the business at the end of 2017 when she confirmed her retirement.

Kim is the only female wrestler in the TNA Hall of Fame, which in itself proves how incredible she was and it seems that even though she has walked away from the business, she is still in impeccable physical shape. Kim has devoted her life to wrestling over the past few decades and it seemed as though it was the right time for her to leave the business. It's likely that she will return in the future, since wrestling is quite obviously in her DNA. It's unknown what she will do in the future.
