There are many male superstars on the current roster who are fathers and still able to travel the world for more than 300 days a year. Being a mother in the industry is much harder since the women would have to have maternity leave and then train to get back into shape. This is why many women wait until after their wrestling career is over to have children, but there are still a number of women who have been able to have children and return to the business, while there are others who are currently off on maternity leave. There are a huge number of former WWE Diva who have opted to start a family after their careers have come to an end since this seems to be the most acceptable option for most women who have walked away from the company in recent years.

There are also a number of women who would be hoping to take some time away from the company soon in order to have children while they feel as though they are still young enough to be able to start a family and remain on the road. The following list looks at 10 current and former WWE Divas that you didn't know were mothers, as well as five WWE Divas who are either planning to get pregnant soon or are set to give birth in the coming months. There are a number of wrestling babies coming into the world in the near future.

Mother: Tamina Snuka

Tamina is the only WWE star who has been able to juggle her entire wrestling career as a mother. The SmackDown superstar isn't one of the most popular women in the company but she is a fantastic mother as well as a superstar on WWE TV over the past decade.

Tamina is a member of the famous Anoa'i family through marriage and is also the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka. She married back in 1995 when she was much younger and divorced a few years later back in 2003 before she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and pursue a career in the ring. Together Tamina and Brandon Polamalu had two daughters together called Milaneta and Maleata. Ever since Tamina made the decision to pursue a wrestling career, she has always been able to make time to see her children as well.

Mother: Eve Torres

Eve Torres is a former Divas Champion in WWE and was the final winner of the annual Diva Search since she won the competition back in 2007. Eve was able to train to become a wrestler quite quickly before she climbed the ranks in WWE to become Divas Champion.

Eve asked for her WWE release back in 2012 so that she could focus on her role as an instructor for the Gracie Women Empowered self-defence program. Eve also went on to marry her longtime boyfriend Rener Gracie back in 2014 before she announced the arrival of her first child the following year. Eve has returned to WWE in recent years to become an ambassador for the company and has continued to train as part of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu academy where she is fully trained in Brazilian Ju-Jutsu and holds a purple belt in the sport.

Future Mother: Maryse

Maryse came to WWE though the annual Diva Search and it seems that much like many of the women of that era, Maryse was signed to the company and went on to become one of the standout stars at that time.

Maryse is a former Divas Champion and was once the longest reigning Champion before her record was erased by AJ Lee a few years later. Maryse started a relationship with The Miz after they started working together on WWE TV and then married back in 2014, three years after Maryse walked away from the company to pursue other creative paths. Maryse has since returned to WWE to work alongside her husband and the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together next month. The couple recently revealed on an episode of Total Divas that they were expecting a baby girl just two days before this year's WrestleMania.

Mother: Mickie James

Mickie James has been part of the wrestling business now for more than a decade and has wrestled for both WWE and TNA. The Virginia native has the unique distinction of being the only woman in professional wrestling who has won the Women's, Divas and Knockout's Championships, which shows how highly rated she is in the wrestling world.

Mickie returned to WWE back in January 2017 after a number of years away from the company where she was able to marry and become a mother. Mickie started dating former TNA star Nick Aldis, better known as Magnus, when she moved over to Impact Wrestling, The couple then announced the arrival of their first child, a son called Donovan Patrick Aldis in 2014 before they then married more than a year later in December 2015. Mickie has been able to juggle wrestling full-time and family life over the past year and seems to be doing a good job.

Mother: Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans has been making quite a name for herself in NXT over the past few months as she slowly becomes the first ever Lady of the developmental brand. Lacey is a former marine and someone who definitely looks the part. On top of having a former career in the armed forces, Lacey also has a daughter.

This was revealed on NXT a few weeks ago when Corey Graves incorrectly pointed out that the current star has a son when in fact she has a daughter. Lacey met her husband when she was just 14 years old and the couple has remained together for more than a decade.  Together they have a four-year-old daughter called Summer who is often seen cheering on her mother as she continues to appear in WWE. Lacey often brings her daughter on the road with her and somehow manages to look after her while also performing.

Future Mother: Maria Kanellis

Maria Kanellis came to WWE through the annual Diva Search and unlike many of the other women at that time, Maria found a home as a backstage interviewer where she played a ditsy character who was occasionally allowed to wrestle. Maria left WWE back in 2010 and then went on to work for both Ring of Honor and Impact Wrestling, which is where she met her future husband Mike Bennett.

The couple then returned to WWE back at Money in the Bank 2017 but while Mike has been making progress in the ting recently, Maria has been forced to take time away from the ring since she announced her first pregnancy. Maria and her husband announced earlier this year that they were expecting a baby girl and that the name for their daughter would be Fredricka Moon Bennett. The couple doesn't have much longer to wait now since they are due around the same time as Maryse and The Miz.

Mother: Candice Michelle

Candice Michelle will be best remembered as a cover girl for a famous men's magazine during her time working for WWE, but she was also the first ever former Diva Search contestant to win the Women's Championship. Candice improved considerably in the ring during her final few years with WWE but was still released from the company back in 2009.

Over the past nine years, Candice has decided to focus on starting a family and after marrying Ken Gee Ehrlich back in 2005, the couple welcomed their first child called AkiAnne Rose in 2010, Ryumi Grace was born in 2012, and her youngest daughter Aloha Von Ehrlich arrived in 2015. Candice returned to the ring last year and has her retirement match against her longtime friend and rival Victoria, so the former Go Daddy star has finally closed the curtain on her storied wrestling career to focus on her husband and her three daughters.

Mother: Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler will be remembered by WWE fans for her incredible legs that were reported to be 42 inches long. Stacy started her career in WCW before she made the switch over to WWE and become a standout star as a manager and valet rather than a wrestler.

Stacy had always had dreams of getting into the entertainment business and decided to leave WWE back in July 2006 to pursue them and has since had quite a successful career in the acting business. After a very public relationship with George Clooney, Stacy started dating Future Ads CEO Jared Pobre and the couple then married in March 2014. Their first child, a daughter called Ava Grace Pobre was born later that year. Stacy has since settled into life as a mother and has stepped away from the acting world over the past few years.

Future Mother: Lana

Lana was added to the WWE roster back in 2013 when she auditioned for the 2013 Diva Search but failed to win. Lana was aligned with Alexander Rusev on NXT before the couple was then promoted together to the main roster not long afterward. Lana has been a main star on Total Divas over the past few years and during this time the WWE Universe have learned a lot about the former actress and dancer.

Lana and her husband Rusev have had a number of disagreements over their future recently since Rusev wants his wife to have a child now but she is happy with her wrestling career and it's open to having time off. Rusev was quite blunt about his intentions on the latest season of Total Divas and Lana and Rusev could be hoping to start a family sooner rather than later.

Mother: Jillian Hall

Jillian Hall is best remembered as a former Divas Champion in WWE since she only held the title for a few minutes. Jillian had an annoying gimmick in which she sang her own entrance theme and then attempted to continue to sing while she was in the ring even though she was a terrible singer.

Jillian left WWE back in 2010 when it was reported that her contract had expired and she has since remained out of the spotlight. Jillian has been married twice and during her first marriage she gave birth to her first child. Jillian's marriage ended in divorce before 2009 and then went on to marry for the second time in 2010. The couple announced that they were expecting their first child the following year, but Jillian suffered a miscarriage a few weeks into her pregnancy. The former Champion has since revealed that she has divorced her second husband.

Mother: Beth Phoenix

Beth Phoenix is now a WWE Hall of Famer and was only the second woman in history to take part in the men's Royal Rumble match back in 2010. Beth is also a former Women's Champion and she was someone who helped push forward the Women's Revolution throughout her time in WWE.

Beth has been married twice in her life and her first marriage ended in divorce back in 2010 after nine years. After Beth left WWE, she started a relationship with former World Champion Edge and the couple announced the arrival of their first daughter Lyric Rose Copeland in December 2013. Their second child Ruby Ever Copeland was born in May 2016 before the couple then finally married in October 2016 on Edge's 43rd birthday after years of being engaged. In 2017, they became the first ever couple to both be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Future Mother: Natalya

Natalya is one of the best female wrestlers in WWE right now and despite being overlooked over the past decade, the former Divas and SmackDown Women's Champion has become one of the most popular female wrestlers that the company has in recent years.

Nattie has also played a main part in Total Divas over the past seven years which is where Natalya has been able to show off how much she loves her cats. The former Champion stated a number of times that she didn't want a child because she was a cat person and had never thought about children, but recently it seems that seeing Brie's daughter Birdie has shown Nattie that she wants to be a mother. Natalya has already been seen as the mother of the WWE women's locker room, which shows that she would be an incredible mother to her own children when the time comes.

Mother: Michelle McCool

Michelle McCool is a former WWE Divas and Women's Champion and someone who was able to work as a school teacher before she then decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling. Michelle was married Jeremy Louis Alexander in 2001 before she later filed for divorce in 2006 when she managed to move on to fellow WWE star The Undertaker.

Undertaker and Michelle McCool married back in 2010 before they announced the arrival of their first child together in 2012. Michelle made her first appearance in the wrestling ring in more than seven years when she appeared as part of the first ever Women's Royal Rumble match and eliminated more woman than any other star. Michelle could make a return to WWE once again as part of the women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania next month since her husband is set to return once again.

Mother: Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus is the most decorated female wrestler in WWE history and retired from the company more than a decade ago as a seven-time Women's Champion. Trish has since been able to open her own yoga studio and become a registered instructor.  Trish has also continued her career in the spotlight with a number of roles in films and TV shows.

As well as furthering her career, Trish has decided to start her own family as well. She married her high school sweetheart and boyfriend of 14 years Ron Fisico just days after she retired from WWE. Trish was then inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2013 and announced that she was expecting her first child Maximus, who was born in September 2013. Trish then welcomed her second child, a daughter called Madison-Patricia in January 2017. Trish was also one of the women who returned to WWE as part of the 2018 Women's Royal Rumble.

Future Mother: Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella is a former Divas Champion and one of the most recognizable women's wrestlers in WWE. Nikki is currently on hiatus from WWE after her boyfriend of five years John Cena proposed to her at WrestleMania 33. Nikki has been pushing her boyfriend towards marriage over the past few years and finally, Cena has changed his mind and is willing to marry Bella.

Nikki has also noted that she wants children in the future but this is something that Cena has never wanted because of how busy his life was. Recently Cena has revealed that he has changed his mind about children so Brie's daughter Birdie could have a new friend to play with in the near future. Nikki and Cena have pretty busy careers right now and that could hold them back when it comes to having a child, but they could be set to have one in the near future.
