When we think of our grandparents or grandparents in general, we often picture them to be a lot older, with grey hair, and generally have plenty of things to tell us about life. Our grandparents have seen and gone through a lot over the years, and they are there to tell us about how life was like back in their day and how different the world has become. And as we put off having children to focus on school or our careers, it’s assumed that people are becoming grandparents at a way older age.
It’s common that in the U.S., we tend to have children a lot later in life, whether it’s because we want to further our careers or we’re just too picky when it comes to finding a soulmate to have children with. However, in other parts of the world, girls as young as 14 and 15 are already having children, making their parents become grandparents as young as 30!
While we focus on eight of the youngest grandparents on this list, we should also mention a few of the oldest. These people outside of the western world are so old, they’ve luckily had the chance to meet their 30 or so grandchildren.
So, check out this list of 8 Of The Youngest Grandchildren (And 7 Of The Oldest). You’ll be shocked to learn about a few of them and how some have made major headlines both young and old.
