As much as there are companies and organizations who try to teach body positivity and tell people to love themselves as they are, celebrities have set the beauty standard for decades and some superfans can't get enough. Plastic surgery used to be something that was set apart for the wealthy and elite, but over the years it has become so common that it's difficult to not run into someone who has had work done.

Plastic surgeons are more than willing to help their patients increase their self esteem by nipping a little here and tucking a little there, and even reshaping their faces to duplicate that of their favorite celebrity. However, it's one thing to want to puff up your pucker to look more like Angelina Jolie's; it's another thing to modify your entire face and body to such a degree that you no longer look like yourself.

These super fans have emptied out their bank accounts, maxed out their credit limits, borrowed from loved ones, and even asked strangers through crowdfunding sources for money in order to become a new person that looks very much like their celebrity idols. They've been criticized for their choices, but no matter what the backlash and at times bizarre looks, they're satisfied with who they've become. And who knows? When a new celeb enters center stage, they may find themselves taking another trip to the doctor's office for a revamp or an upgrade. Some say tattoos are addictive, but for these 15 plastic surgery addicted super fans, it's the transformation they can't get enough of.

15. Mike and Matt Schlepp -A $29,000 Brad Pitt

All you need to do is to take a look at Brad Pitt's chiseled good looks to understand why Arizona twins Mike and Matt Schlepp would want to go to extremes to resemble the A-list actor. The pair were featured on the now defunct MTV show I Want a Famous Face where the brothers spent $29,000 on painful plastic surgeries to sculpt themselves into the former Mr. Jolie.

They hoped that looking like Pitt would help them break into the entertainment industry more easily so they got nose jobs, chin implants, and received porcelain veneers. Unfortunately for them, the results didn't leave either brother looking anything like Pitt but more like lost Hanson brothers. Also sadly for them, there haven't been any fans mistaking either sibling for the actor while they walk the streets, but the pair told MTV that they've never been happier and their lives were changed forever.

14. Jennifer & Karen Lopez- A $10,000 Jennifer Lopez

If you walk into a room and your name is Jennifer Lopez, people are going to assume that you have something in common with the actress-singer of the same name. To make that true, Colombian teenager Jennifer Lopez looked up to the other J-Lo and when she and her older sister Karen decided they were unhappy with their bodies, they sought out the help of a surgeon.

It's true that there are few other butts out there that are as bodacious as that of "Jenny from the Block," but Lopez was determined to come close. Both she and her sister wanted that J-Lo body so they had breast implants, liposuction, and buttock fillers. The two got their first surgeries when they were only 14- and 15-years-old, before their bodies were able to even fully mature. They're now satisfied with the outcome, as they should be, considering their mother dished out $10,000 for their surgeries.

13. Toby Sheldon- A $100,000 Justin Bieber

The tale of singer-songwriter Toby Sheldon started off as a story of a man who wanted his time in the spotlight and ended in tragedy. Sheldon made headlines after he spent $100,000 on surgeries to look like pop icon Justin Bieber, someone 14 years his junior, only to appear on the plastic surgery nightmare series Botched.

While Bieber fans weren't convinced that Sheldon looked anything like the famous singer, Sheldon insisted that he would get mistaken for Biebs on a regular basis. The plastic surgery addict pretty much laid low until August of 2015 when he was reported missing. Three days later, investigators made a terrible discovery.

Sheldon's body was located in a room at a Motel 6 along with a number of drugs. Police believe that Sheldon may have fallen off the radar after he broke up with his boyfriend, but it has yet to be released whether his overdose was accidental or on purpose.

12. Pixee Fox- A $120,000 Jessica Rabbit

Swedish model Pixee Fox already had looks that most women would kill for, but in her early twenties she wanted more. Her goal was to look like a real life blend of Jessica Rabbit, Barbie, Tinkerbell, and Sleeping Beauty's Aurora, and over the years she's continued to nip and tuck, pursuing her goal. By 25-years-old she had already spent $120,000 on surgeries including liposuction, breast augmentations, upper-eyelid lifts, permanent makeup, fillers in her cheeks and chin, and a nose job. She also had six ribs removed in order to shrink her already tiny waist to cartoon proportions.

You may wonder how she could afford such procedures? For many of them, she relied on fans who donated money to her crowdfunding pages so that they could help their idol/obsession become more "perfect." Her current GoFundMe page is asking the public to donate $6,000 for her "American Visa" so she can live out her dream in Los Angeles as a "living cartoon."

11. Ashley Horn- A $25,000 Lindsay Lohan

This is a story of a half-sibling who wanted desperately to look more like her famous sister. Ashley Horn's mother had a brief affair with Michael Lohan, Lindsay's father, and she was the product of their short romance. Ashley and Lindsay didn't grow up spending time with each other, but that didn't stop Ashley from looking up to her older sister — some would say a little too much.

Back in 2013, the then 18-year-old spent $25,000 on plastic surgery and debuted her new look to In Touch Weekly.

"I’ve gotten rhinoplasty, a bit of refinement underneath my cheeks and jawline, some fat injected into my chin and some fat injected into my upper cheeks," she said. She told the magazine that she believed she looked better than her sister, but was far from like her in personality.

She continued, "I’m not Lindsay. I wasn’t raised in that family,” she explains, adding that she doesn’t have a relationship with the Lohans — and doesn’t want one. “I don’t drink, do drugs or party. I like being a responsible person."

10. Lisa Connell- A $60,000 Demi Moore

When Lisa Connell received the terrible news that she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the London-based woman created a bucket list that included multiple surgeries to look like actress Demi Moore.

She told the press, "People think I’m crazy for doing this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier. When I was young I used to watch Demi Moore in films like Ghost and I longed to look like her."

Social media picked up on Connell's story and soon Moore was aware of her wanna-be doppelganger's plans. Moore took to Twitter to deliver a message to Connell, writing, "Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me and encourage her to not to! She is a beautiful girl!"

Well, Connell got the message and ignored it because she ended up getting breast implants, an eyebrow lift, liposuction, and teeth and skin alterations. The transformation set her back over $60,000 and even though it was what she wanted to do with her body, she received an onslaught of backlash. She responded by saying, "I want to die beautiful, so this is my way of taking back control of my body."

9. Crystal- A $25,000 Britney Spears

Oh baby, baby! There was a point in time when girls of all ages across the globe were doing all they could to look anything like their pop idol Britney Spears and a woman named Crystal was going above and beyond to make that a more permanent reality. Crystal was also featured on MTV's I Want a Famous Face and dropped a pretty penny trying to shape herself into the pop diva.

Crystal had a nose job, lip injections, breast implants, and fat grafts in her cheeks. The surgeries set her back $25,000 and with a new look came a new career. The once business casual young woman told the show that she was opting for a new job and was looking forward to becoming a stripper. One has to wonder whether or not she used her new look to her advantage and rushed out to buy a schoolgirl outfit. It would only make sense that she danced to nothing but Britney. If so, her tips could pay off her doctors' bills.

8. Nicholas Ryan- Ryan Gosling

Aspiring actor Nicholas Ryan wanted to improve not only his looks, but his luck with the ladies. After staring at himself in the mirror, he found some imperfections that he thought needed some work, so he visited a surgeon and told him he wanted to look like Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling.

When a man scores a wife like Eva Mendes, chances are he's doing something right, so Ryan chose Botox and filler injections to slightly reshape his face. Oh, and he chose the stage name "Ryan."

"What I wanted was more definition in my jaw bone, like Ryan Gosling," Ryan said. "I'm going for roles that demand a more rugged look in a man's face. My favorite Ryan Gosling movie is Gangster Squad, a role that suits that type of heroic face."

He also hopes that this new look will open doors in the entertainment business. "He's got a look that a lot of people in America are looking for right now, especially in my line of work. I'm hoping I'll get more auditions and roles if I look more like Ryan Gosling. That's why I had the surgery," he said.

While there are many actors that score roles because they look much like A-list stars, chances are if there is already a famous Ryan Gosling, Hollywood doesn't need two — but he may get lucky.

7. Kelly Chandler- A $26,000 Jennifer Aniston

Plastic surgeons' days are filled with meeting with people who want to change one or more parts of themselves for a variety of reasons. Kelly Chandler was ready to turn herself into Jennifer Aniston not only because the actress was once named People magazine's most beautiful woman on earth, but because she wanted to make her ex-husband jealous.

Chandler, too, was featured on MTV's I Want a Famous Face, and the 27-year-old insurance agent told her doctor that she wanted to become more beautiful to make her ex "squirm."

"To be honest, I thought to myself, 'What a perfect way to let him squirm, to let him see what I look like after the surgery,'" she said. "It was the ultimate revenge."

Her doctor encouraged her, telling Chandler right before her surgery that she would be "taking a nap as Kelly" only to wake up as Jennifer. The single mom had liposuction, a nose job, and breast implants, all of which cost her $26,000. By the end of her "I Want a Famous Face" episode she was a hot mama getting her groove back on the dance floor with her new man. She told MTV at the time that she planned on going back under the knife to get another boob job and a tummy tuck.

6. Deborah Davenport- Kate Winslet

Texas native Deborah Davenport kept getting told that she could be Cameron Diaz's sister, but for her, that wasn't a compliment. Her changing face was something that made her insecure, so she consulted with a plastic surgeon to request another A-list actress's look.

"My nose just seems to get fatter and fatter every year," she told The New York Times. "I look at photos and I’m like, 'Oh my God, what’s happening to me?'"

It's called aging, and Chandler wasn't okay with that, so she visited a doctor in Dallas with a photo of Kate Winslet and had cartilage shaved from her nose, Botox treatment in her forehead and around her eyes, and filler injected into her cheeks. The irony in all of this is that Winslet has been vocal about how she's against having plastic surgery, even though people have debated for years whether or not she's visited a surgeon.

“Here I am trying to have surgery to look like someone I think hasn’t had surgery,” Davenport said.

5. Rodrigo Alves- $169,000 Ken Doll

Former flight attendant Rodrigo Alves is either a plastic surgeon's dream or worst nightmare. The 32-year-old self-proclaimed plastic surgery addict has spent $169,000 in an effort to look like Barbie's beau, Ken.

The list of Alves' surgeries run from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. He's had lasercomb hair treatments, Botox and fillers in his forehead, a nose job, liposuction on his jawline, fillers in his arms, pectoral implants, abdominal implants, liposuction on his legs, laser liposuction on his thighs, and calf shaping surgery. He also takes collagen tablets, anti-water retention pills and hair growth supplements.

Alves is doing all he can to make sure he's the live version of Ken, even turning himself into a socialite. However, going under the knife has its risks. After being injected into his arms with some sort of gel by a Brazilian doctor, Alves developed an infection and was close to having his arm amputated.

4. Nileen Namita- $360,000 Nefertiti, The Queen of the Nile

Mother of three Nileen Namita has spent over 25 years molding herself into Queen Nefertiti, the "Queen of the Nile." In 1987, the now mid-50s artist began her transformation after she said she came to the conclusion that she lived as Nefertiti in a past life. According to Namita, throughout her teen years she had recurring dreams about her life as the queen.

"They were visions of incredible intensity - I could see where she lived, her servants, her rooms, even the food she ate - and although at first I found the dreams frightening, I began to research what they meant," she recalled.

Her first surgery was at 23-years-old, and since then she's had over 50 more including eight nose jobs, an eyebrow lift, six mini-face lifts, five eye surgeries, three chin implants, and 20 minor nips and tucks to turn her into her self-proclaimed former self. These procedures have set her back in an incredible $360,000.

3. Claire Louise Leeson- Kim Kardashian

One celebrity whose looks have been duplicated over the years is Kim Kardashian. She may have become a household name because of her friendship with Paris Hilton and her infamous sex tape with singer Ray J, but she's evolved into a mogul whose family name is a staple all over the world.

One of her millions of fans is 27-year-old Claire Louise Leeson who dished out $30,000 on plastic surgery to become her idol. She began her surgical transformation when she was just 17-years-old and has undergone procedures on her butt, breasts, and even teeth.

"Firstly I started getting my teeth whitened — which I started doing at 17/18," she said. "Then I wanted my boobs enhanced to the same size as Kim’s. I wear pants with a silicone implant inside. I didn’t wear them today as they didn’t go with my dress. They feel fairly real."

As a young girl Leeson said she was bullied in school and told she was ugly on a regular basis and now looking like Kim has increased her self-esteem. It's made her love herself more, even though she had to identify as someone else for that to happen.

2. Mikki Jay- A $16,000 Michael Jackson

In 1991 a U.K. mother of three won a talent show where she sang a Michael Jackson song. Ever since then she's gone by Mikki Jay and makes her living impersonating the late pop icon and claims to make a staggering $240,000 per yer. It's obvious that "he's" got the look and act down pat, and when he was still alive, Mikki Jay was able to meet her idol.

Mikki Jay is one of the most recognizable Michael Jackson impersonators in the U.K. and has spent a pretty penny perfecting her look. She's paid surgeons $16,000 on two nose jobs, a chin shave, and two cheek implants to look like the original Michael. Reviews of her live show are positive and viewers can't help but feel as if they're watching Michael Jackson in the flesh. One can only wonder how her children feel about having Michael Jackson's ghost as a mother.

1. Jordan James Parke- A $150,000 Kim Kardashian

Some people don't know, or have, a plastic surgery limit, and one person who has gone overboard is 23-year-old Jordan James Parke. He became an Instagram sensation because of his over-the-top look that includes expensive clothes and accessories, but the real show-stopper is his obsession with Kim Kardashian.

He's spent $150,000 on a chin implant, two nose jobs, eyebrow tattoos, and jawline and neck liposuction. In addition to that he's had laser hair removal, 50 lip filler operations, and Botox injections.

As much as he loves and adores Kim, he admits she's not the only Kardashian who inspired his new look. He revealed to a publication: "I showed them a picture of Kim for my nose, and said 'this is how I want it'," continuing "I wanted my chin like Kylie Jenner's, with a really defined jawline."

If you ask Parke, he's the long lost Kardashian sibling. "No, it's the whole family now, but mainly Kim. But I love them all, their looks, the way they dress, they're just an inspiration."
