Celebrities exist to entertain us. And that can be through movies, television shows, how ridiculous they are on reality T.V., or any of their antics the paparazzi just happen to catch on camera and share with us all. I think it's safe to say that anything a celebrity says or does -- whether it's positive or negative -- will be seen or heard by the public. And sometimes, they like it that way. Some of them are attention wh---s and don't even mind when their complete and utter ridiculousness (such as acts of revenge, for example) are broadcast to the world. Of course, this is not the case with them all. There are celebrities out there who would rather keep their drama to themselves, and this list will encompass those who wish to be private... and those who do not.

Some celebs go out of their way to make their revenge known, and they take pleasure in it. Some hope no one would ever get wind of their evil plans. Some purposely hurt their target, knowing 100% that it will be recognized as exactly that (I'm looking at you, Justin Timberlake). So in the end, there are many ways to exact revenge, and there are many reasons for wanting it. The fact that we're talking celebrity revenge only makes it more interesting (and usually, ludicrous). Please enjoy these 15 tales of the rich and the famous getting back at the people in their lives in oh-so-amusing ways.

Ex of NBA Star Airs Dirty Laundry on Dr. Phil

She may not be a "celebrity" per say, but Siohvaughn Funches was once married to Dwyane Wade, who is definitely a celebrity, and her revenge story is pretty amusing, so we'll include her in this list. The ex-wife of the NBA star went through a bitter divorce with him, one that was hard to fight because she was up against a man who was both rich and famous, which shouldn't matter in court but sometimes can. She even lost custody of her two sons to Wade, due at least in part to the fact that he could afford to pay for top-notch attorneys. And on top of all that, he had been involved with actress Gabrielle Union while they were still married. So Siohvaughn went on an episode of Dr. Phil and basically aired their dirty laundry -- including that Dwyane had an STD! Nothing can make up for losing your kids, but I bet that felt pretty damn good!

Blac Chyna Has a Revenge Baby

We all know Blac Chyna is a feisty one and that it's probably not the best idea to piss her off. It's said that she started dating Rob Kardashian and had his baby just for revenge. Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, used to date Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Tyga. (For those of you that don't know, Kylie is Rob's little sister, and Rob is Blac's baby daddy). When Blac and Tyga broke up, he hooked up with her bestie, Kylie, and they wound up dating. So some speculate that Blac became involved with Kylie's brother, got engaged to him, and had his baby because she hated Kylie just that much. Now, Kylie is stuck with her forever. We hope that motherhood has matured her a bit because having a kid for the sole purpose of messing with someone else is just nuts. What a totally twisted (and confusing) love rectangle.

Bill Murray Hired a Deaf-Mute Assistant Just to Piss People Off

On the set of Groundhog Day, Bill Murray was fed up with the studio and the director who were just always bugging him one way or another. Bill would dodge phone calls, be late to shoots, and basically just blow them off (which kinda sounds to me like he was the annoying one, not the other way around). When the crew suggested he get a personal assistant to be a middle-man between himself and them so he wouldn't have to be bothered, Bill did just that. He hired a deaf-mute who could only communicate using American Sign Language. Bill then told the studio they didn't need to worry because he was going to learn ASL, himself. Of course, that was no help to anybody and created much more work than it saved, which was, I suppose, the whole point.

Katy Perry Calls Out High School Crush During Live Performance

Can you imagine being the dude that rejected the girl that would go on to become world-famous pop star Katy Perry? Yes, high school was forever ago, but still, the diss was fresh to Katy. During a 2010 performance for past and present students at her high school in Santa Barbara, she spotted her former crush, Shane Lopes, in the crowd. And this is what she said: "'You were the most popular kid in my class! But you never wanted to date me; it was always Amanda Wayne... Oh yeah, you really chose right honey. What’s up? What’s up now, player? I’m going to dedicate this next one to Shane Lopes, everyone." Katy then continued the humiliation by dedicating her song "You're So Gay" to him. Bet he was either thinking he should've dated the now-millionaire... or that he dodged that bullet. The above photo was taken at the Dos Pueblos High School performance where this revenge occurred.

Judd Apatow's Entire Career is Revenge

And he said so himself. In his own words, "Everything I’ve done, in a way, is revenge for the people who canceled Freaks And Geeks. It’s really demented, but it’s just like ‘you were wrong about that person, and that person and that person. And that writer and that director.’ And I really should get over that." Is his "revenge" the slashing tires or jumping someone kind of revenge? No. But Freaks and Geeks was clearly his baby, and he's far from the only one pissed about it being canceled. For someone to take that anger and turn it into a career such as his is pretty impressive, but it's also kind of sad that he was so obsessed with one show that he let it take over the rest of his work. Maybe we should choose to see it as motivation because in this instance, there's a fine line between revenge and motivation.

Lisa Lopes: Arsonist Extraordinaire

Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the R&B trio TLC went off the deep end in 1994 when she literally burnt her boyfriend's house down. She had been dating Atlanta Falcons football star Andre Rison, who, less than six months after meeting her, physically abused her in a parking lot. He was arrested, but that wasn't the end of things. One night, after a fight about sneakers that turned physical (she started hitting him because he bought himself a bunch of shoes, but did not buy her any), she set a pair of his shoes on fire in the bathtub. Then, she shattered the windshields of two of Rison's luxury vehicles. Soon, his whole mansion was on fire, and she was seen just standing out by the whirlpool watching. Lopes turned herself in, and the two got back together and even planned to marry. Sadly, however, those plans never came to fruition as she was tragically killed in a car accident in Honduras while on a spiritual retreat in 2002.

Elin Nordegren Sells Precious Jewelry

We all know that if ever there were an ex-wife out there who deserved a little good, old-fashioned revenge, it may as well be Elin Nordegren, the Swedish model who married pro golfer Tiger Woods. He allegedly slept with at least a dozen women during his marriage to Elin -- everyone from cocktail waitresses to hookers to porn stars -- and got caught. Elin, who has two children with the sleaze bucket, decided to take the high road and get revenge. She obviously divorced him, but she also auctioned off more than $2.5 million in jewelry Tiger had given her, including her engagement ring. She says she did this to "cleanse" herself of the relationship, but you can bet it also pissed Tiger off royally. A source close to the couple called the auction "the ultimate act of revenge. It's her way of saying, 'Now do you get the message? It's over!'"

Naya Rivera Eggs and Keys a Car

You may have been under the impression that egging houses, cars, people, whatever, was something dumb kids do. But apparently, wealthy, otherwise-mature grown women who are celebrities do it, too. Glee sweethearts Naya and Mark Salling broke off their romance, but it was not what you would call an amicable breakup. Reportedly, Naya and a friend overheard Mark talking about other girls. They decided to get a bunch of eggs and dog food and cover his Lexus in it. They also keyed it. This reminds me of a little country song with the lyrics, "Maybe next time, he'll think before he cheats"... Or, you know, speaks of any other women, ever. Because that's totally the same thing.

Brandi Glanville Slashes Prized Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

With that same country song in mind, Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats," we have another story of car-destroying at the hands of an angry woman, this time Brandi Glanville. The reality star was the victim of a very messy (and very public) divorce when her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, infamously cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes and then married her just a year later. Can't say I wouldn't feel vengeful, myself. After discovering that her husband of nearly 10 years was stepping out on her in 2010, Brandi took her rage out on his treasured Harley-Davidson motorcycles -- with a knife. She then called his mother (who gave her blessing of the motorcycle murders), and moved into a hotel room until things could settle down.

Garcelle Beauvais Sends Mass Email Exposing Her Husband's Affair

Don't mess with actress Garcelle Beauvais. When she found out that her husband, Mike Nilon, was getting with another girl on the side, she took matters into her own hands and thoroughly humiliated him. She wrote a mass email to all of his colleagues, with the subject line reading, "Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon," and it's pretty obvious just from that what the email would be about. The actual email read, "What do they have in common . . . I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don't deserve this!" Mike and Garcelle wed in 2001 and had twin sons together, but they divorced because of his infidelity in 2011.

Rob Kardashian Trashes Ex on Twitter

Usually, it's his sisters making these sort of lists, but today is Rob Kardashian's turn. Hell hath no fury like a Kardashian scorned, which is exactly what Rob was after things between him and his then-girlfriend, Rita Ora, went sour in 2012. Rob trashed Rita on Twitter, saying, "She cheated on me with nearly 20 dudes while we were together, I wonder how many she will sleep with now that we apart? But I mean 20?!!!” Rita replied, "Rob’s d--k was wack, I had to go get it somewhere else." To which Rob replied, "So you let me get you pregnant and you let others hit raw?" Damn. He instigated the Twitter feud, spilled way too much information, and was just downright mean about it. Even Rob's sister, Khloe, tweeted him that he needed to be nice.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Paparazzi Revenge

Tired of the incessant paparazzi following him around, in 2006, Joseph Gordon-Levitt gave them a taste of their own medicine. After being "nice and polite" by asking them to stop, they didn't stop and were neither nice nor polite to him. So Joseph pulled out his own camera he had in his bag and began filming them. The footage was turned into the short film titled Pictures of A**holes, which is basically him engaging the paparazzi in conversation that makes them look like, well, a**holes. In the video, Joseph harasses the paparazzi in the same way they do him, and they don't take too kindly to it, repeatedly calling him an a**hole. Then, they get into a debate about the intricacies of exactly how one should take another's photos.

Justin Timberlake's Revenge Song

Yep, you know where this one is headed. Justin Timberlake's 2002 song, "Cry Me a River," was inspired by his ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears. And if you're Britney Spears circa 2002, it must have hurt, deserved or not. The two blonde pop sensations had dated for almost three years and had been old friends since their Mickey Mouse Club days. Justin allowed the reason behind their breakup to remain mysterious, but there were rumors that Britney had cheated on him with her choreographer. "Cry Me a River," however, hinted at a massive betrayal on her part, and basically everyone knew what it was about, and the music video only confirmed that. The story of the song was told using a girl that very closely resembled Britney and a guy resembling the choreographer. It must have taken a lot of work, but "Cry Me a River" is one example of so-called revenge songs, a la Taylor Swift, albeit much before her time.

Calvin Harris Nixed Teen Choice Awards Performance

Scottish disc jockey Calvin Harris and singer Rita Ora only dated for a year, but their breakup was pretty ugly. Although the two seemed amicable after their May 2014 breakup, things are not always as they seem. That year, Rita was supposed to perform a song she had written with Calvin, called "I Will Never Let You Down," at the Teen Choice Awards. But she never got to, and it seems like the title of the song was, in fact, not true for the one-time couple. Calvin was the one who prevented her from performing the hit. I'm sure since he wrote it with her and their breakup was fresh, it would've been painful for him to hear. But still, he deprived thousands of fans from seeing the performance and cancelled it last minute. Since he wrote and produced the song, he has to approve anything on television having to do with the song, and at the very last minute, he pulled it.

Burt Reynolds Dumps Horse Crap From a Helicopter

Actor Burt Reynolds says he regrets posing naked for a Cosmopolitan photo shoot in 1972, but he does not regret dumping horse poop from a helicopter on the National Enquirer. According to him, it was quite fitting since they had been writing "crap" about him for years. After the height of his career was over in the 1980s, he had hit rock bottom in other ways as well. He had broken his jaw filming City Heat and lost 40 pounds from eating through a straw and being hooked on painkillers. Tabloids attributed his weight loss to him having AIDS, and so the rumors began. After years of the nasty rumor, Burt had had enough, so he loaded up a helicopter with horse manure from his Florida ranch, then flew over the National Enquirer headquarters that was not too far away, and showered its massive Christmas tree with crap.
