We have a strange love/hate relationship with celebrities, don’t we? Whether they are sports stars, actors, politicians or singers, there are some famous faces that we just can’t get enough of and there are others who just get under our skin. At times, we can’t even say what makes us dislike a celebrity, but we just know that we don’t like them.
We all have secrets, and one of the biggest skeletons that people can have in their closet is murder. Celebrities are the same. Sometimes they achieve incredible heights in their careers only to have it all fall down when they kill someone. Of course, there are some that manage to keep themselves out of trouble by hiring the best legal minds available, but there are times when even this isn’t enough.
The celebrities on today’s list all have one thing in common – they killed another person. For most of them, the deaths resulted from accidents of some kind but a few have actually committed cold-blooded murder. And there’s nothing like finding out that a celeb you didn’t like is actually a killer as well. So here are 15 celebrities that we hated even before we found out that they were killers too.

She seemed to have everything going for her, but back in 2006 a highly publicized car accident almost ruined her reputation.

14 Duane "Dog" Chapman Was A Convicted Felon Before He Was A Bounty Hunter
Love him or hate him you have to admit that Duane “Dog” Chapman certainly kept us entertained with Dog The Bounty Hunter and Dog and Beth: On The Hunt. We loved watching him gruffly interacting with his family and hunting down baddies. But Chapman has been on the other side of the law more than once himself and even served time in a state prison for first-degree murder.
Back in 1976, Chapman was sent to prison for five years. He had been waiting in a car when his friend shot and killed an alleged drug dealer. He only spent 18 months in prison before being released, but later said that it inspired him to become a bounty hunter. He rose to fame in 2003 after he made international news by apprehending serial rapist Andrew Luster and was later picked up for a TV series.
13 Snoop Dogg Was Involved In The Murder Of A Rival Gang Member
Snoop Dogg is known for having run-ins with the law, mostly related to drugs and weapons. But what else would we expect from his hard living, straight talking rapper?
But did you know that Snoop was actually once arrested for murder?
Back in 1993, while recording an album, Snoop was arrested in connection with the death of a rival gang member named Phillip Woldermariam who was killed by Snoop’s bodyguard. Both Snoop and his bodyguard were charged with murder when it emerged that Snoop had been the driver of the car involved in the shooting. They were both eventually acquitted of all charges after a drawn-out legal battle. Thankfully, when your net worth is around $143 million you can afford the very best lawyers in town.

11 Rebecca Gayheart Accidentally Killed A Child
Rebecca Gayheart reached the height of her popularity in the late nineties when she starred in films like Urban Legend and Jawbreaker but since then she’s slowly dropped off the radar. We’ve seen her pop up a few times to do cameos or TV series, but mostly she’s been keeping a low profile. That might have something to do with an accident she had back in 2001.
On the third of June 2001, Rebecca was driving down a Los Angeles street when she struck a nine-year-old child who later died from his injuries. She pleaded no contest to a count of vehicular manslaughter. Her plea helped her avoid jail time and she was sentenced to three years of probation, a $2800 fine, and a hefty 750 hours of community service.

It was also at this age that Pearson was arrested and charged with murder after she shot another girl. She ended up serving almost seven years in prison. But she managed to turn her life around during this time and went on to land her role on The Wire shortly after her release.
9 OJ Simpson Is Currently Serving Hard Time
How could we do a list of celebrities who killed people and not include the infamous case of OJ Simpson?
OJ had a promising career as both a football player and an actor before the death of his wife Nicole Simpson in 1994. Even though he was acquitted of the murder charges after a highly publicized trial his life would never be the same again. A civil lawsuit was filed against him following the verdict and he was ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages.
In 2007 Simpson was arrested again and this time he was charged with armed robbery and kidnapping. He was found guilty in 2008 and sentenced to 33 years in prison. He is currently serving his sentence at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada.

After a lengthy trial, he was found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. While incarcerated at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center earlier this year Hernandez took his own life. He left a suicide note next to a bible opened at John 3:16 which reads, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” He had also written “John 3:16” on his forehead in ink.

The driver, Kim Howe, an animal rights activist and actress, was killed and seven others sustained injuries in the accident. Jenner escaped the accident without injury. Jenner blamed the accident on the paparazzi trailing her at the time. No criminal charges came from the accident, although several civil suits were filed and settled out of court.
As if we didn’t have enough reasons to hate Caitlyn Jenner. Now we find out that she killed someone (okay, accidentally, but still) and couldn’t even take responsibility?
