Freemasonry is said to be one of the world’s oldest traditional and fraternal organizations. It is generally thought that Freemasonry was born out of Medieval guild of stone masons. With time, more and more people became members of the guild. Eventually, Freemasonry became a social and fraternal institution.
Many people believe that Freemasonry is a political or a religious organization. However, others claim that that is not true. In fact, it is said that topics that concern either religion or politics are banned from Freemasonry meetings. Freemasons are all equal, despite their class or religion. Freemasons meet in individual units that are called Lodges. It is in these Lodges that they hold their meetings.
It is generally believed that Freemason members who belong to the 33 degree Scottish Rite are the most powerful. The Scottish Rite is a branch of Freemasonry in which a Master Mason proceeds after he completes the three degrees of Symbolic or Blue Lodge Masonry.
Anyone who wants to become a member of Freemasonry can do so with ease. All he or she has to do is ask an existing member about joining. However, many people believe to this day that Freemasonry is a secret and exclusive society. Many conspiracy theories regarding the Freemasons have been put forward. Some of the most popular Freemasonry conspiracy theories are the theories that Freemasons are trying to take over the world or that they are connected to the Illuminati.
15. Freemasons Control The World
A common conspiracy theory regarding the Masons is that they are trying to create a world government. The Masons are supposedly attempting to create an autonomous world government which will completely and irreversibly replace sovereign nation-states. This new world government would of course completely undermine all of American freedoms, American democracy and American Christianity. But even worse, the new world government would signal the coming of the Apocalypse.
If the Masons were successful in their New World Order, it is said that foreign powers and minions of Satan would come to America and would put American citizens into gulags. These gulags would be guarded fiercely by troops from United Nations or foreign powers such as Hong Kong or Russia.
14. Freemasons Faked The Apollo Moon Landings
Some people believe that the Apollo Moon Landings were faked and that it was the Freemasons who actually faked them. Those who believe this theory point out that John Glenn, two-times US senator and one of the first men to go to space, was in actual fact a Mason. Plus, a lot of other astronauts were Masons too, including Buzz Aldrin, Gordon Cooper Jr., Donn Eisele and James Irwin, among many others.
Proponents of this theory point out other damning evidence, such as the Van Allen Radiation Belt that would have been impossible to cross without dying, the unrealistic black and white footage of the moon landings, and the failure of NASA astronauts to signal from the moon for everybody to see.
13. Freemasons Were Involved In Jack The Ripper’s Murders
The famous serial killer Jack the Ripper supposedly murdered his victims so as to cover up the secret marriage between Prince Albert Victor, the grandson of Queen Victoria who was second-in-line to the throne, and a working class girl named Annie Elizabeth Crook. The five victims of Jack the Ripper supposedly had a connection to Crook and as a result were murdered to prevent word spreading about the marriage.
But who was Jack the Ripper? Some say he was the father of Winston Churchill, the politician Lord Randolph Churchill. Churchill was supposedly the highest ranking Freemason in Britain and as such was tasked with protecting the Royal Family. While no evidence to support this claim exists, many people are certain that Jack the Ripper’s identity has been uncovered.
12. Freemasons Control Hollywood
Some people believe that the true founders of Hollywood were Freemasons. After all, some of the first and largest movie studios were created by men who were Freemasons. And all of these film studios are still operating to this day!
For example, the famous Warner Brothers Company was founded by Jack Warner who was supposedly a Mason. The film producer Louis B. Mayer, who is also said to have been a Mason, merged to form the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) studio. The co-founder of 20th Century Productions, Darryl F. Zanuck was supposedly a Mason at the same lodge as Jack Warner. Zanuck helped transform the Hollywood Studio system and earned three Academy Awards. The founder of Universal Studios, Carl Laemmle was also said to be a Freemason, as was Walt Disney.
11. Freemasons Worship Satan
It is generally assumed that Freemasons worship Satan or Lucifer. To support these claims of Satan worship, individuals often quote various individuals, both Masonic and non-Masonic, such as the poet and scholar mystic Arthur Edward Waite.
Christian Anti-Masonic websites often use Waite’s quote “First Conjuration Addressed to Emperor Lucifer. Emperor Lucifer, Master and Prince of Rebellious Spirits, I adjure thee to leave thine abode, in what-ever quarter of the world it may be situated and come hither to communicate with me. I command and I conjure thee in the Name of the Mighty Living God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, to appear without noise and without ….”
10. U.S. Was Founded By Freemasons Who Hid Secret Symbols In The American Society
Some believe that the United States was founded by Freemasons, such as John Hancock, John Sullivan, and Baron Fredrick von Stuben, who secretly hid various Masonic symbols into the American society. Some of these Masonic symbols can supposedly be found in common, everyday objects such as national seals, street patterns, architecture and even the dollar bill.
It is said that even today, Freemasons continue hiding their Masonic symbols and numerology into our modern American culture such as in corporate logos. But apparently, nowadays Masonic symbols also appear in music videos by Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, and Lady Gaga and even in decorative pieces of trendy Brooklyn bars.
9. Freemasons Are Controlled By The Illuminati
Many people believe that Freemasons and the Illuminati are basically the same thing. In fact, it has been said that the top Freemasons are also the top Illuminati. However, this is only true for the higher ranking Freemasons as those at the lower levels are probably unaware of this connection.
However, it is said that a 32 degree or higher Freemason will most definitely also be an Illuminati. In fact, it is often argued that the Illuminati helped create Freemasonry. Why would they do that? Well, the answer is very simple: so that Freemasonry could act as a “front” for the activities of the Illuminati.
8. Jews Are Behind Freemasonry
One of the most popular theories regarding Freemasons is the Judeo-Masonic Conspiracy Theory. According to this conspiracy theory, Jewish Masons or Masons under the control of Jews, for the last 300 years have been trying to take over and transform the Catholic Church.
The Judeo-Masonic Conspiracy theory is echoed in the book The Permanent Instruction of the Alta Vendita: A Masonic Blueprint for the Subversion of the Catholic Church written by Catholic Family News editor John Vennari. Vennari supposedly has found access to secret Masonic papers that explain their plans of trying to subvert the church. Masons will supposedly subvert church by creating priests that favor “modern thought rooted in the French Revolution’s ‘Declaration of the Rights of Man’.”
7. Freemasons Have Links With Other Secret And Semi-Secret Societies
It is said that Freemasons are linked to a number of other secret societies. One such society the Freemasons are linked to is the Skull and Bones Society. The Skull and Bones Society is probably the least secret society out there. It was founded in 1832 at Yale University by a man named William H. Russell. Some members of the society include heads of state and leaders of various industries. It is said that the Skull and Bones society follows Masonic rites.
Another society that the Freemasons are linked to is the Knights Templar. The Knights Templar was founded in the 12th century by nine knights who promised to protect pilgrims travelling through the Holy Land. With time, more and more knights joined the society. However, eventually members of the Knights Templar were executed and the society was disbanded. Only according to some people, it wasn’t really, and its members still meet up with Freemasons once in a while.
6. Ku Klux Klan Are Tied To Freemasonry
It is generally believed by many that the original Ku Klux Klan was founded in 1866 in Tennessee by 6 Confederate officers, two of which were Masons. One of these six officers was a man named Albert Pike, and another was a man named Nathan Bedford Forrest.
Albert Pike was a 33 degree Scottish Rite Freemason and Forrest was a former Confederate General and also a Freemason. Forrest was supposedly the first Imperial Wizard, or Grand Wizard, of the KKK. In other words, he was the head of the KKK.
5. Freemasons Are Humanoid Reptiles
One of the more bizarre Freemason conspiracy theories is the theory that humanoid reptiles are behind secret societies such as the Freemasons. Reptilian humanoids are supposedly blood-drinking and flesh-eating reptile extraterrestrials that can shape-shift into humans. They are extremely powerful and they have one goal only: to enslave the human race and take over the world.
These Humanoid Reptilians are our political leaders, our corporate executives, our Oscar-winning actors and Grammy-winning musicians. Queen Elizabeth, George W. Bush and Bill and Hillary Clinton are all Humanoid Reptilians. And of course, they are all Freemasons. They’re the ones behind the Holocaust, Oklahoma City bombings and 9/11 attacks. It is said that only by sowing chaos and destruction will these Freemason Humanoid Reptilians take over the world.
4. JFK Killed By Freemasons
Some people believe that Freemasons were behind JFK’s assassination in 1963. Supposedly, the whole incident was peppered with Masonic symbols that leave no doubt as to the culprit behind Kennedy’s murder.
The assassination took place in Dallas, Texas which is supposedly close to the 33rd parallel of the 33rd degree of latitude. The 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite is for those who have contributed greatly to the takeover of the planet Earth. Dealey Plaza is said to have been named after George Bannerman Dealey who was a 33rd degree Freemason.
In addition, the word Dealey means “goddess line”. The word “ley” can also mean “rule” in Spanish, which would translate the word “Dealey” into “goddess rule”. Furthermore, Dealey Plaza supposedly looks like a pyramid. Main Street runs directly through the center of the main pyramid, thus creating two more pyramids. So there are three pyramids in total: two inside one, thus creating the trinity.
3. Mozart Was Poisoned By Freemasons
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died in 1791 at the mere age of 35. The cause of death was said to be severe miliary fever. No autopsy was ever carried out but a doctor did inspect Mozart’s body and found no evidence of foul play.
However, ever since Mozart died, various conspiracy theories that aim to explain his death have been put forward. A lot of these conspiracy theories claim that Mozart was poisoned. Some claim that Mozart poisoned himself accidentally by trying to treat his syphilis with mercury and overdosing. However others claim that Mozart was poisoned by the Freemasons because his two-part opera Magic Flute challenged Masonic doctrines and exposed their secrets.
2. Freemasons Worship The God GAOTU
Many people believe that Freemasons worship the god GAOTU, or the Great Architect of the Universe. The Great Architect of the Universe is also known as the Grand Architect of the Universe and the Supreme Architect of the Universe.
Historians believe that the name for the deity and the abbreviation came into the Masonic tradition from the Book of Constitutions that was written by Reverend James Anderson in 1723. Since Anderson was a Calvinist minister it is believed that he took the term from Calvin’s usage.
1. British Judiciary Is Infiltrated With Masons
Another popular belief that concerns Freemasonry is the belief that the British judiciary system is heavily infiltrated by members of Freemasonry. As such, it is said that these British judges who are Masons give their fellow Masons the benefit of the doubt thus circumnavigating the British legal system.
In fact, in 1997 it was found that two out of 39 Appeal Court Judges were Masons. Furthermore, one out of 96 High Court Judges were Freemasons and 16 out of the 64 North Eats Circuit judges were Freemasons also.
It is also believed that Masons have infiltrated the British police force. It is said that in 1993 UK government staff guidelines stated that due to conflicts of interest that may arise from staff being members of Masonry, Masonic staff should tell their superiors of their association.
