Now, he has upped the anti on his ability to hit the water in the most luxurious way possible too. Auto Evolution reveals that Brady has had a fantastic $2 million yacht for a while and has greatly enjoyed taking his family along for relaxing outings, but that just wasn't enough for the football star. He has just stepped into a different echelon of yacht ownership by investing in a lavish $6 million yacht that quite literally blows his older vessel right out of the water.
Tom Brady is now the proud new owner of the newest edition Wajer 77 yacht, and the power and sheer size of this boat is enough to make anyone green with envy.
According to Auto Evolution quotes Brady as saying; "the yacht can sleep up to nine guests and additional crew, in several spacious cabins. Built by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Van Oossanen Naval Architects, it will be the most silent in its class and will be equally luxurious to its smaller siblings. With a 400-nautical-mile range, it will be perfect for summer holidays with the family."
For those trying to keep up with Tom Brady's apparent obsession with Wajer yachts, this is the second one that Brady has purchased in the past 6 months. He had recently purchased the Wajer 55 and had been out and about with his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen and their two children, enjoying their time on the ocean as a family.
The Wajer 55 is a much more modest yacht than Brady's newest acquisition, and it only set him back a mere $2 million, as compared to the $6 million purchase he has just made.
Brady often boasted about how much he loved the Wajer 55, but as soon as he realized the 77 was up for grabs, he was quick to make the purchase. In fact, rumors suggest that he may be the very first to receive one of these beauties, as he was certainly one of the first to purchase one.
When comparing the two vessels, Yahoo Sports reveals more details about the Wajer 77 by saying; "beyond the 22-ft. increase in length, it’s a much wider, more complicated vessel with significantly more volume. It’s more like an offshore cruiser than the 55S’s bay-hopping design."
Tom Brady's expensive new yacht is powered by triple 900 hp Volvo Penta IPS engines, and is said to reach top speeds of 37 knots with a range of 400 nautical miles.
He can now take more guests, and go on longer stays that involve multiple nights on the water, which he was unable to do with the Wajer 55.
