New Zealand film director Peter Jackson is among the newest addition to Forbes' Billionaires List as it is his first time to be included in the list with an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion. Jackson rose to fame when the first installment of the film franchise The Lord of the Rings hit the theatres. The movie was such a big hit that it grossed almost $900 million in the box office. The film franchise made him wealthy but Jackson is not the only celebrity who made millions from The Lord of the Rings, a lot of the actors and actresses who starred on the show went on to become successful on their own.
