Ethan and Grayson Dolan, better known as The Dolan Twins on YouTube, recently sold their Encino, California mansion for almost $3 million, just a little over two years after purchasing the property.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mid-century modern home 'sold before processing', which means someone bought the property before it was officially available on the market. So far, the buyer's name hasn't been revealed, but the outlet notes that it's a woman local to the area who isn't a public figure.

The Dolans originally bought the property for $2.15 million in July 2019. At the time, Dirt reported the home was built in 1958 by a non-famous family.

Prior to the Dolan twins, the mansion had been bought by a West Hollywood realtor for $1.43 million in September 2018, who then renovated the home and sold it for a profit to the YouTube stars.

The single-story house sits on a half-acre lot located in the foothills of Encino, which is a part of L.A.'s San Fernando Valley. Many YouTubers and other social media stars call this area home, including James Charles, Jenna Marbles, and Logan Paul.

The home has 3,000 square feet of living space, which includes four bedrooms. Other features include recessed lighting, French doors, and luxury appliances. While the mansion lacks a garage but does feature a carport and motor court, both of which can accommodate several vehicles.

The home has plenty of outdoor features, too, including a backyard patio with a covered seating area for entertaining. It also comes with a freeform swimming pool and spa. The land itself is described to be park-like, with dozens of matured trees and hillsides.

The Hollywood Reporter notes that the Dolan twins made substantial renovations to the home in the two years they owned it, which explains why they made nearly a $1 million profit upon its sale.

The biggest (and most controversial) change they made was completely removing the pool and spa. Rather, they converted the space into a grassy lawn, where they've since built an outdoor fitness center, outdoor bedroom, and a hillside gazebo for entertaining.

Plus, Ethan also bought a tiny house as a housewarming gift to surprise his brother with, which currently sits in their backyard. The twins uploaded a YouTube video in June 2020 showing Ethan gifting Grayson the shed.

It's unclear where the 21-year-old twin plan to purchase the property next, or even if they'll go in on another house together. Despite amassing 21 million followers on YouTube in six years, the twins announced they were leaving the platform in January 2021 to pursue other opportunities. As such, they may be looking to leave Los Angeles altogether.
