Melrose Rose was one of the most popular prime-time soap operas on Fox, which aired for seven seasons until 1999, and the cast went on to work on various television and movie projects.

As a part of the Beverly Hills 90210 series, Melrose Place was the second show in its universe that aired its first season in July 1992 on Fox. Produced by Aaron Spelling, best known for Dynasty and Sunset Beach, Melrose Place was created by Darren Starr, who has recently created Emily In Paris. The show followed the lives of various young adults who lived in an apartment complex in West Hollywood, California, called Melrose Place. Laura Leighton was a recurring cast member on the show's first season and went on to secure a regular spot. According to People, she portrayed the role of a scheming call girl for four seasons of Melrose Place. She hosted Saturday Night Live in 1995 and made appearances in several television shows, including Beverly Hills, 90210, Fantasy Island, and Pretty Little Liars.

Thomas Calabro ($1.5 million)

 

One of the only actors who remained as the leading cast member for all seven seasons, Thomas Calabro began his journey as Dr. Michael Mancini, a loyal husband who later became a ladies' man by the end of the show. Calabro also starred in hit shows like Glee and Castle, along with landing a recurring role in The Bay, a web series that aired between 2015-2019.

Grant Show ($1.5 million)

 

Grant Show has earned several recurring roles in popular drama series such as CSI, Criminal Minds, and Burn Notice. He was a regular cast member on Accidentally On Purpose, the Dynasty reboot, and Devious Minds. In Melrose Place, he played the role of Jake Hanson, a bad boy for five seasons.

Josie Bissett ($3 million)

 

Josie Bissett was only 12 years of age when she began modeling and appearing in television commercials. After starring in a short-term television series Valerie, she landed the role of Jane Andrews Mancini in Melrose Place, as noted by Celebrity Net Worth. Since the show ended, she bagged a recurring role in The Secret Life Of The American Teenager and appeared in The Wedding March.

Along with starring as a gay social worker Matt Fielding on the show, Doug Savant also fell in love with his co-star Laura Leighton on Melrose Place. The couple has been happily married since 1998 and shares four children. Savant landed another high-profile role after the series as Tom Scavo in Desperate Housewives.

Heather Locklear ($6 million)

 

Heather Locklear as Amanda Woodward became the face of the series and even received four Golden Globe nominations for her portrayal. After wrapping the show, she starred in Spin City, followed by Franklin & Bash, and also appeared in the 2013 film Scary Movie 5. Courtney Thorne-Smith has had a busy career after she finished her run in Melrose Place by the end of season 5. After portraying the character of Allison Parker on the show, she went on to have multiple small credits to her name. She made appearances in Ally McBeal, Two And A Half Men, Fresh Off The Boat, and Mom and starred in According to Jim, as stated by Entertainment Weekly.

Along with his portrayal as Dr. Peter Burns, Jack Wagner had already been a household name for starring in General Hospital until 1995, and after Melrose Place, he was a part of The Bold And The Beautiful. He experimented by entering Dancing With The Stars and released music albums simultaneously.

Lisa Rinna ($10 million)

 

Veteran actress Lisa Rinna is best known for appearing in over 600 daytime opera Days Of Our Lives episodes. She joined Melrose Place in the fifth season and played minor roles in Community, The Middle, and Veronica Mars. As mentioned by Screen Rant, she joined the cast of the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in the fifth season and has now become a household name.

Andrew Shue ($100 million)

Andrew Shue has had acting credits since the 1990s and continued his career as a professional soccer player. Shue starred as Billy Campbell until the seventh season before becoming a social media entrepreneur. With his friend Michael Sanchez, he co-founded CafeMom, a social site. In 2018, it was bought by Wild Sky Media for a hefty price.

Other notable cast members include Vanessa A. Williams as Rhonda Blair, Daphne Zuniga playing Jo Reynolds, and Patrick Muldoon portrayed as Richard Hart. Less than a decade after the original series stopped airing, the show was revived for another season in 2009, with some of the original actors reprising their roles.
