Tekashi 6ix9ine’s bodyguard takes protecting him to the next level, as he’s offered the rapper’s attackers $10,000 to fight him. Earlier this week, Tekashi – whose real name is Daniel Hernandez – was hospitalized after he was attacked at a South Florida gym. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazzaro released a statement about the attack, revealing his client was “attacked in a Sauna at a gym by three or four thugs who beat him up (he tried fighting back).”

“He had cuts to his face and bruises. Employees heard the disturbance and the perpetrators fled,” the lawyer continued.

The local sheriff’s department has confirmed they’ve launched an investigation. “[Authorities] learned that an altercation occurred inside the business between several individuals resulting in injuries to the victim, Daniel Hernandez,” the Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Now, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s bodyguard Bam-Bam is responding to speculation that he played a part in organizing the attack. To prove the rumors wrong, he offered $10,000 to fight the unknown attackers in a social media post.

"If you lose you die," Bam-Bam said, adding he’s prepared to face four people alone.

So far, no one has come forward to accept the bodyguard’s challenge, and it remains unclear who attacked the rapper.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has a history of criminal activity, which may explain the target on his back. He plead guilty to criminal charges related to gang activity in 2019, but served a reduced sentence.

He’s since gotten back to his music career, but that hasn’t been without controversy, too. The rapper has been involved in a series of lawsuits in the last year.

Last April, he was sued for $2 million after failing to perform at multiple scheduled concerts. This wasn’t the first time he bailed on a concert. The year prior, Tekashi received backlash from fans for dipping on a Houston performance.

More recently, Tekashi was hit with a $350,000 lawsuit for Fashion Nova, which accused him of failing on his contractual duties for brand collaborations when he was in prison.

Though he seems to have representation now, Tekashi’s attorneys made headlines for quitting last October. The law firm allegedly couldn’t make contact with Tekashi and has stopped paying his bill, causing the firm to withdraw their representation.

With his attackers still out there and ongoing legal problems, Tekashi certainly has a lot on his plate.
