Sydney Sweeney is in legal trouble after a lawsuit was filed by a swimsuit company that argues she breached her promotional contract.

According to TMZ, court documents reveal that Sydney reached an agreement with LA Collective last year to promote their new swim line, ‘Somewhere Swimwear.’ They claim that Sydney approved all their designs, but when it came time to promote the swimwear, she refused to proceed.

Even further, LA Collective claims that Sydney used the swimwear to her personal advantage without fulfilling her contractual obligations, noting that she wore their designs in at least 5 Euphoria episodes.

It’s unclear how much the swimsuit company is hoping to earn in damages. But they estimate the line was supposed to make $3 million with Sydney’s help, so they may be hoping for a seven-figure win.

Sydney rose to fame playing Cassie in the critically acclaimed HBO show. She’s also had roles in shows like The Handmaid’s Tale and Sharp Objects and films like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Aside from her failed partnership with LA Collective, Sydney has been tapped to work with a variety of notable brands in recent years. In March, Sydney confirmed she’s the new spokesperson for SOL by Jergens. She called it a “dream” collaboration on social media.

"SO EXCITED to announce this partnership!! i’m officially a #SOLMate. #SOLbyJergenspartner collaborating with @solbyjergens self-tanner has been an absolute dream,” Sydney wrote on Instagram when announcing the collaboration.

“This is legit my secret for sun-kissed skin without worrying about exposure to harmful UV rays. I swear by their Water Mousse (I use the medium shade).”

Even more recently, in April, it was announced Sydney was the new face of Laneige, marking the first U.S. celebrity partnership for the skincare brand.

“Sydney Sweeney and Laneige have experienced a similar acceleration trajectory over the last few months with Sydney cementing her status as one of the leading emerging actresses,” Julien Bouzitat, chief marketing and digital officer of Amorepacific US, said of the partnership.

He continued, “Most recently with the viral phenomenon of ‘Euphoria’ season two, while Laneige keeps getting mentioned all over social media for its iconic Lip Sleeping Mask.”

Earlier this year, Sydney also modeled for Miu Miu’s Wander Bag campaign. "The spirit of rebellion embodied by Sydney’s characters mirrors the ethos of Miu Miu, a twisted luxury energized by youthful rule-breaking - the hallmark of the Miu Miu girl, here embodied anew," the brand said in a statement.

Apart from her brand partnerships, Sydney just signed up for a new acting project. Thee 24-year old will star in the new Marvel film Madame Web alongside Dakota Johnson.
