Lil Uzi Vert is in the middle of making a purchase that is truly 'out of this world' in every sense. Documents seem to reveal that he is in the process of a feat that no human has ever made before him. Lil Uzi Vert has filed documents in an attempt to purchase a planet. Not only has this transaction never happened before, it's also absolutely unheard of.

Yale astronomy professor Gregory Laughlin indicates that there is no official governing body that handles a sale of this nature, but as the creator of the measure in which the valuation of planets are assessed, he admits, that this sale of a planet may still be quite possible.

Lil Uzi Vert is known to live on the edge. His Instagram page is full of wild stunts on ATV's and of course, it wasn't that long ago that he implanted a $24 million pink diamond in his forehead. As far as ticking things off his bucket list goes, he seems to really be doing well, and by all indication, this planet-purchase is the next big thing he plans to tackle.

He isn't just buying any old planet, either. Lil Uzi Vert has his eyes locked on a substantially sized planet. His good friend Grimes, mother of Elon Musk's child, took to Instagram to blast news of this huge planet to her global fanbase. Her caption indicates that Lil Uzi Vert has already filed the paperwork required to take over ownership of WASP-127b, a gas giant exoplanet that is 1.4x larger than Jupiter."

This would absolutely make him the very first person to ever purchase or own a planet of any kind.

In recent weeks, the world has seen huge progress in the realm of space travel. Richard Branson defied all odds by flying his independently owned rocket ship to space, and was able to orbit the earth, paving the path for other civilian flights to do the same.

Soon after, Jeff Bezos launched his rocket to space, staying longer than Branson, and going aboard a rocket that was completely unpiloted.

All these developments have been happening within such a short time frame, and as far-fetched as it may seem, Lil Uzi Vert may very well be on the cusp of something really big here - something which, if he successfully pulls it off, may gain popularity among others very soon.

As far as this particular purchase goes, Laughlin tells RollingStone; "From a valuation standpoint, I would recommend that prospective buyers for WASP-127b keep in mind that the planet’s proximity to its host star renders it uninhabitable to carbon-based life,” and he goes on to say Lil Uzi Vert will likely be landing the first planet purchase at a "real steal" compared to what other planets will cost when posted for purchase in the future.
