We all know Millie Bobby Brown as "Eleven", the complex character who possesses psychokinetic and telepathic abilities on Netflix's Stranger Things. Since the show has such a strong cult-like following and Eleven is one of the most popular characters, it stands to reason that fans of the show want to know more about her. But Brown is so much more than Eleven! At just 17 years old, she's a multi-faceted actress who is just beginning to scratch the surface of her charms and talents.

An Early Start To Fame

Born in Marbella, Malaga, Spain in 2004 and raised in the UK, Brown reportedly told her parents that she dreamt of being an actress. After she turned eight, she and her parents moved near Hollywood to try to turn her dream into a reality. She got her acting start in 2013 on the TV series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as none other than Young Alice. After a couple of episodes, she moved on to the 2014 BBC mystery drama series Intruders. She played a character called Madison O'Donnell alongside John Simm and Mira Sorvino. Some fans might say that her character Madison which she portrayed at just 10 years old was a kind of foreshadowing to her more well-known character of Eleven, minus the psychic powers.

Matt and Ross Duffer, writers of Stranger Things, had reportedly never seen Intruders but their horror and sci-fi idol Stephen King was already well aware of Brown's acting skills by the time the brothers were looking to cast the role of Eleven. In fact, he thought Brown's portrayal of Madison O'Donnell was so incredible that he felt compelled to tweet, "Millie Brown, the girl in Intruders, is terrific. Is it my imagination, or are child actors a lot better than they used to be?"

Bringing Home The Big Bucks At A Young Age

Brown's acting career is already off to an amazing start at such a young age. So far, she's won two Emmy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards as well as several Teen Choice Awards. To date, Brown has an impressive $10 million net worth, bringing in $300,000 per episode of Stranger Things. The first season of one of Netflix's most watched series earned Brown $10,000 per episode which translated to $80,000 for season one. Her income tripled on the second season and by the third season, she earned a cast-leading $300,000 per episode which equals about $2.7 million for all eight episodes of season three. The rest of her whopping income is made up from her other acting endeavors.

Brown also appeared on episodes of popular shows such as NCIS, Modern Family, and Grey's Anatomy before she was offered the role of a lifetime which catapulted her to fame. Since then, she's become somewhat of the "darling" of the music video world, starring in videos for musical acts such as Maroon 5 with Cardi B, Drake, and Mariah Carey. She also starred in the movie Enola Holmes as the lead character, Sherlock's younger sister which premiered in 2020 and more recently, she stars in Godzilla vs. Kong.

Cha-Ching, My Dear Enola

Brown earned $6.1 million for her work as Enola in Enola Holmes with a lot of extra goodies. She's credited as a producer on the film which brings in an additional $500,000. She also has an extra package of bonuses worth $800,000 due to her if the movie does well and is reportedly set to earn $7.5 million if a sequel pans out.

Eleven Plus

Brown has reportedly renewed her Netflix contract, leading many fans to believe that she is set to star in an upcoming Stranger Things spin-off show much to the show's fans' delight. Season four will also star Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfard and although a teaser has been released for the much-aniticipated season, there has yet to be a date set in stone. When Stranger Things first debuted in July of 2016, the show garnered 14 million viewers. Impressive as that is, the numbers have quadrupled since then.

Brown has won ten awards so far as her role as Eleven and has been nominated several times. We don't see any slowing down for this show and the money will undoubtedly continue to pour in for this talented young actress.

Making It Up With Florence By Mills

Brown not only holds down regular side gigs as a model and brand endorser but she also has her very own beauty brand, Florence by Mills. Named after her grandmother and the nickname her family uses for her (Mills), the beauty brand debuted in August 2019 and offers under-eye gel pads, luxurious lip oil, shimmery eye shadow palettes and more. The make up company has already made a splash and boasts the results of several satisfied users on its Instagram.

Brown has given back by raising $40,000 for the Olivia Hope Foundation through Florence by Mills.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for this thriving young star.
