In the spirit of the holiday season, Meek Mill is rising to the occasion with a very generous gift-giveaway. He has stepped up to take care of those less fortunate in his hometown of Philadelphia, and he's doing so in a really big way. The star is getting ready to donate an astounding $500,000, and he's putting his whole heart into this good deed by actually attending in person to hand deliver gifts and make a sizable monetary contribution. The rapper was born and raised in Philadelphia, and has accumulated a net worth of $20 million. Giving back to his local community is as generous of Meek Mill, as it is personally meaningful.

The holidays can be a very challenging time for some people, especially these days. The global pandemic has wreaked havoc on families across the world, and for some, the challenges they have faced have been truly overwhelming.

Meek Mill is dedicated to trying to ease some of the holiday stress for a number of families, and he's digging deep into his pockets to make sure his donation is truly impactful. The star has generously volunteered his time, and plans to personally attend an event this coming Sunday to spread some holiday cheer.

Meek Mill's holiday giveaway includes half a million dollars worth of gifts for people of all ages. He is poised to distribute; " bikes, video game gift cards, laptops, tablets, dolls and much more," as part of his initiative, and perhaps the most heartwarming part of this story is that he is personally attending to hand out this Santa-sack full of generous gifts.

It would have been just as easy for Meek to make a monetary donation, or send a crew to deliver this mountain of presents, but actually being face-to-face with the families is a meaningful experience that connects Meek Mill to his community. This is not the first time he is attending in person, either. He has made a real tradition of generous holiday giving over the past several years. Last year, he made a notable donation last Christmas as well, but at the time, COVID restrictions prevented his in-person attendance, and he appeared on video, instead.

Meek is going to be in good company, too. He has engaged Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, Sixers partner Michael Rubin, and his very own managers from Roc Nation to be part of this incredible experience.

In addition to the astounding half-million dollars worth of items he is gifting, Meek Mill plans to also donate $30,000 to a volunteer organization that provides ongoing support to families in need during the holiday season, called Twelve Days Of Christmas.
