Music star Marc Anthony just closed a lucrative deal on his Miami Waterfront estate. According to People, the Latin artist sold the 21,000-square-foot property for $22 million. He purchased it in 2018 for $19 million.

Also known as Casa Costanera, Anthony’s three-story abode boasts of 12 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. It also a massive pool and spa with breathtaking water views.

The property also has an elevator on all three floors, as well as three kitchens, a formal dining room, a wine cellar, and staff quarters.

Three years ago, Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband bought the property from Bacardi Rum heiress, Hilda Maria Bacardi. The latter spent 8 years renovating the mansion.

However, the property still wasn’t fully renovated when Anthony purchased it. So, the award-winning musician had to spend a huge sum of money on the construction of the renovation of his former home.

According to Realtor, Anthony put the property on the market for $27 million. But he was forced to lower the price later and was able to close a deal for $22, 416,000.

This isn’t the first time that Anthony had to say goodbye to a house that he loved. In 2018, the house that he shared with Lopez was torn down.

The couple lived in Brookville, New York for the most part of their marriage. It is also where the exes raised their twins, Max and Emme.

Meanwhile, Anthony won’t have a difficult time purchasing another property if he decides to one day. After all, the artist is reportedly worth $80 million.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Anthony happens to be the highest-selling salsa artist to date. And he has also sold more than 30 million albums nationwide.

His first album, Rebel debuted in 1988 on Bluedog Records. Throughout the 80s and the 90s, he produced and wrote several songs that became massive hits like “Boy I’ve Been Told” and “You Should Know By Now.”

In 1999, he released his first English-language album titled Marc Anthony, and it debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 charts. Six weeks later, the album went platinum.

One of his songs from the album, “I Need to Know,” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

His other albums are Libre, Mended, Amar Sin Mentiras, Valio la Pena, El Canante, Iconos, and Opus.

Throughout his life, Anthony has already been married four times. He wed Maria Von Ritchie Lopez in 2000 and they divorced in 2002.

He wed beauty queen Dayanara Torres in 2000 and they divorced four years later.

Anthony tied the knot with Lopez in 2004, and they divorced in 2014. And his last marriage was to Shannon De Lima, but they also divorced in 2017.
