The release of the rapper's baby 'MONTERO' is planned for Sept. 17.

Lil Nas X appeared pregnant in a goddess-themed photoshoot with a flower crown and a white rob, holding the pregnancy bump to praise the happy moment. He got inspired after listening to Megan Thee Stallion's verse on his track Dolla Sign Slime. According to People, he was totally excited, "I was like, 'Oh my God, this is amazing,' so I immediately called my stylist... She was like, 'Wow, this all comes together. Your album. Your baby.' I was like, 'Yeah, this is my baby, huh?' As a joke, she was like, 'Yeah, you should do a pregnancy shoot.'"

Well, the pregnancy topic is being on top lately. First, another famous rapper, Drake, posted the cover art for his music album Certified Lover Boy with pregnant women emojis. Then, Lil Nas X decided to publish his version of the album cover with pregnant men. "I was like, 'There's no way the universe is lining up this perfect for this to happen," he said to People.

Lil Nas X created MONTERO, the forthcoming album, within the past year in lockdown. He tweeted that the production of the new music was 'therapeutic.' The album entails songs that represent his personal journey. "I've changed in so many ways," he said to People. "I've changed the way that I handle a lot of situations, the way I manage my sadness and anger, and just understanding that I don't have to react to emotions in certain ways. I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose how to react. I've learned to let people's comments roll off my back." Lil Nas X shares his thoughts on finding "a great balance" between his creative work and real life. The rapper's collaborated with many prominent artists, like Elton John, Miley Cyrus, and Doja Cat.

Lil Nas X is famous for his provocative aesthetics. Five months earlier, he made an uproar with the music video for the song MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name). He appeared costumed as several biblical characters delivering "plenty of sexual undertones." The same month, his partnership with MSCHF was criticized for creating a limited-edition line of Nike sneakers - Satan Shoes. The footwear featured a pentagram and contained one drop of human blood, which many find outraging. Nike even filed a lawsuit but later reached a settlement with MSCHF.
