Ex-con Lori Loughlin is ready for her comeback; the actress has secured a new role that pays a whopping $150,0000 per episode. The Full House star has been out of work since the 2019 college admissions scandal put a pause on her career.

According to Radar, the 57-year-old actress is set to appear in the second season premiere of When Hope Calls on the GNC Family network. Loughlin is reprising her role as Abigail Stanton. She played the character for six seasons on Hallmark Channel's When Calls the Heart.

Fans of the show felt that When Calls the Heart was about second chances and forgiveness. So, they started pleading for her return. However, the actress will not be reprising her role on Hallmarks When Calls the Heart. Instead, she is joining GAC Family’s When Hope Calls, a spinoff.

"Hallmark Channel has not cast Lori Loughlin in any current projects, including When Calls the Heart, nor do we have any plans to cast her in the future. She was cast by GAC Family, a wholly separate cable network not affiliated with Hallmark Channel or Crown Media Family Networks," Hallmark said in a statement.

Hallmark fired Loughlin from her job due to her role in a nationwide bribery scandal. Federal prosecutors accused the actress and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulliand, of paying $500,000 in bribes to their get daughters admitted to USC. They eventually took a plea deal and pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison, a $150,000 fine, and 100 hours of community service. She was also booted off her Netflix sitcom Fuller House.

According to Radar, the show’s producers thought Loughlin would attract viewers. “The producers know controversy sells,” the source said. “Lori’s like a wreck on the highway. Everybody wants to see her return — especially because of her tarnished track record.”

The ex-con isn't the only family member profiting off of the scandal. Her daughter Olivia Jade is currently competing in this season of Dancing With The Stars. Jade appeared on the show after she agreed to bring her parents for a live taping.

The actress is getting a jaw-dropping $150,000 per episode for her reprisal. When Hope calls is set to premiere on December 18th.
